Rated 5 out of 5Â by Tinkerbelle I went from the HTC Inspire to the HTC Vivid just a few weeks ago. The Vivid is much better. Great large screen, battery life much better as well. Has all of the features I like to use plus more. Takes excellent pictures and video. Easy to navigate within the phone and apps.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by mibrewer I switched to this from the iPhone and I love it overall. The media sound when on youtube and movies is not as loud as I would like it. It can be hard to hear without headphones. I love the bigger screen and the resolution is excellent. I am finding it hard to find cases for the phone. Not compatible with all bluetooth.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Ricanares The Vivid is amazing. I myself do a lot of research before buying a phone. Was not 100% sure on this phone...but decided to risk it and it was well worth it. Now runs the newest android platform (Ice Cream Sandwich) which makes this phone smooth, appealing to the eye and one of the few running "ICS". The only downside...fingerprint magnet. Even though this may be annoying, the easy fix...a case. Battery life in reviews that I read...were horrible...but in my case...it's been great. I'm at 52% and have not charged the phone since yesterday morning. I am on my phone constantly!! Here's a tip...keep wifi on. It saves your battery by up to 50%. To wrap things up, it's easy to use, sound is great, the overall look...amazing. Stop in to an AT&T store and check it out.

This is a great phone! East to use, excellent display, cool features and apps. I have had this phone now for about 3 months and to my surprise I still LOVE it. It is durable, I have dropped it a couple of times and had no issues. I like the talk to text feature and most of all the kindle app for all my kindle books. This phone has it all. I am still very impressed. You would need a phone case to put it in for safety and you don't want to leave it lying around because other people will want your phone too. If you decide to purchase this phone you won't be sorry. It is just phenomenal.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by lbaker2013 I love my phone.
Before I put the case on it was too easy to use accidently push the volume button, but it's perfect now. It works best if you reboot daily. Helps keep the bugs out, and use a stylus pen.

This is in my opinion the best phone that AT&T has to offer right now. The battery life on this is excellent. I constantly get about 18 hours of use out of it without a single charge.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by bandit55751 works very well. coming from the iphone 4, there was no figure out period. easy to use. bright screen. battery life is impressive compared to other androids. battery lasts about 10 hours with light use. light meaning majority texting and about 100 texts a day. it is on the heavier side but it is a good heavy it feels like you are holding something of quality. over all good product.

I had to return this phone three times. After the third phone i decided to get a different phone. The VIVID did not work for me. The volume on this is phone was horrible. Sometimes it would ring and most time it would not. The battery would not charge properly.

I've had this phone for almost a year now and I can honestly say this is a really good phone. It's a very fast phone and very durable. It has a lot of hidden features such as setting a time when you want to send a text, it also reminds you that you need to send the text. My battery life is ok. I downloaded the battery Dr and it works well. I'm a college student and I'm constantly on my phone. I use it for EVERYTHING like writing papers or just checking the internet and listening to music. By the end of the day without charging it other than the night before, I have about 30% battery which is good considering the usage. The battery life is one of the only things I would change. I have over 70 apps on my phone and it has a lot of space still, mind you I have a lot of games and software. It does freeze sometimes, but what phone doesn't freeze? Overall it's a great phone and I wouldn't trade it. The 8mp Camera is amazing. I love taking pictures as a hobby and I've had many compliments on my pictures and such. I've had other phones and other HTC phone and so far this is the best I've had. A lot is packed into it. Just take the time to figure it out.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by PassDaConBread fun and easy phone, horrible battery life
came to this phone from a Blackberry Storm (r.i.p.) and hated it initially, but once i got the hang of it i have grown to love it, had it for a year and a half now with no issues other than the extremely short battery life that plagues most any phone now a days, have an upgrade coming up and have no intentions of replacing it as the phone works perfectly fine as long as you keep a car charger handy lol, will be checking into the new Blackberry z10 though

It's a great phone. The camera the features and its easy to use however, everytime i get into a car it turns off and it turns off constantly throughout the day. This has happened before with other HTC. Now last night my phone turned off for good and it doesn't want to turn back on.

I've had a HTC Vivid before and i took my case off and it dropped it onto glass tiles from a pretty tall height. Of course it cracked. It says "This device is no longer available in your area" please bring it back to Brooklyn, NY or tell me where i can find one in New York PLEASE. :'( i really want my Vivid back </3

Rated 2 out of 5Â by sporkism Worst phone ever.
This is the worst phone I have ever had the displeasure of owning. I bought this as an "upgrade" 6 months ago to my iPhone 3G (there was nothing even wrong with it, I just felt like getting a new phone after 5 years). Before the iPhone, I had only ever owned LG phones, with no problems. I thought I'd give this one a try because it was a "good deal." Now I know why it was cheap.
The case is extremely cheap. The outside part is a shiny black plastic that looks cheap and IS cheap. The back cover over the battery is thin, flimsy metal that easily bends. This thing was CONSTANTLY popping off. I considered duct taping over it just to keep it on so my battery would stop falling out. I admit I have a tendency to drop my phone sometimes. However, all my previous phones, including the iPhone, were able to keep on ticking like nothing happened no matter how many times I dropped it, even on CONCRETE, TILE, whatever. This one... I could drop it on the CARPET and it would explode into pieces.
As for the battery life.... what battery life? I had to have it plugged in constantly, making sure I had a charger with me at all times. It would last maybe a couple hours if I didn't touch it... maybe 30 minutes if I was having a conversation in texts or god forbid felt like using an app. The battery would also heat up to ridiculously hot if in use (say, using Spotify for music while driving). I'd have to take it off my lap because it felt like it just popped out of an oven.
The sound, when not plugged in to anything, was atrocious. The little speakers were awful even just using an alarm or ringtone. I put the volume all the way up so it's loud enough to wake me with the alarm, but it sounds terrible. Only sounds normal/crisp when at low volumes, but what's the point of that?
The interface looked fine. The software itself seemed fine, never really encountered any bugs or anything. Reception seemed ok. Really, I think the major issues and dealbreaker of this phone is the battery and cheap construction.
I'm never trying another HTC phone after this. Maybe there are better models out there, but I'm not going to take a gamble with my money again. I usually keep my phones for years and only upgrade by choice. This thing broke today after only 6 months; it won't turn on at all now. I'm not going to lie, though, in a way I'm almost happy it broke so I have an excuse to get something else.
