The one is good but some apps crash. It still needs some work so it can be as flawless as the iPhone.

I just switched from the iPhone 5 and I honestly couldn't be happier that I made the decision to switch. I've owned nothing but iPhones since the iPhone 4. Don't get me wrong, I'm still an Apple guru, but when it comes to phones, I'm giving it all to Andriod from here on out. I got the black HTC One and it is sexy, sleek and I can't put it down, I'm always messing with it. I'm not hot for BlinkFeed. It is convienent, but I miss being able to drag down the notification center and tap to post to Twitter or Facebook without launching an app. I know you can add a widget for that but it clutters up your panels. Overall, I have nothing bad to say about this phone. I would like to tell the person reading this review. Try something different, get this phone and broaden your horizons.

my previous phone was nokia and i had the ipad
after that i thought that nothing could beat the iphone and ios
but saw it on net and i gave it a try and boom !
It wasnt like anything that i was heard
. As my first android it showed me that android could be fast and smooth like ios and even better
the boomsound blew the ipad speakers away and the screen and resolution is awesome.
Camera is a magic in low light and an artist in daylight
its faster than touchwiz and proved that everything isnt cpu cores
and the metal body remind me of my macbook pro , premium quality..
Advice it to anyone who want the best android phone in the market and tired of plastic fantastic galaxys !

This is an awe-inspiring device! I was concerned about size, battery life, & picture quality. I expected the BoomSound would be great, wasn't concerned with BlinkFeed, wondered about interactive TV Guide. Commercial Mobile Alert System (CMAS w/WEA) is new.
The size is easier to fit in my front pocket alone, with hardly a bulge, than I expected, not thick at all. The battery life is getting better and still better than I expected, daily charges with regular use, 2-3 days between charges by using Wi-Fi & Mobile Data network toggles and using Power Saver. UltraPixels really makes a difference.
BoomSound is great, the two front stereo speakers are so much better than expected. I read BlinkFeed more often than I expected. TV Remote/interactive Guide is wonderful, didn't expect that.
CMAS saved me from leaving work when a tornado was in the area, no windows in my office.
The device is so much better than I expected. I started with Nokia mobile phones, had a Motorola Q and a BlackBerry Bold, worked with Samsung Galaxy 3 & iPhones, and recently had a HTC EVO Shift 4G. I love my one, my HTC one!

I can see things perfectly clear thanks to the screen, Listen to my music better than before, Having to have simple use, and have the sexy all metal body, all that, with 97% battery life left! This is an amazing phone, Period.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Brownlove Waiting for the HTC next "ONE"
I've had this phone when they actually released it... so about 4 months. I have to say as mostly everyone says.. this phone looks and feels amazing! This is the fist phone that people actually stops me and asks me what phone is that just by looking at it. The processor is the quickest I've ever had so far. I've own HTC phone since the fist Evo came out so I'm familiar with most of the functions so it pretty easy for me to navigate.
Now the drawbacjks... I'm a dj so I'm constantly downloading and listening to new and different types of music. The lack of a memory card slot is a pain in the as*... I have thousands of songs and have some stored on miro usb cards from my other phones now I can only store a portion of my songs on the phone before it full and I only could get the 32G becuse my carrier is Sprint and they decide only to go with the 32 and not the 64. Maybe I wouldn't mind the no memory card slot, but I still think that is a great feature on a phone.
Secondly.. again because I'm a dj and i'm constantly on the move and sometimes don't have enough time in the day to charge my phone. A spare battery option would of been nice also. Sure.. they have emergency battery back up out there but some of them is a hassle and it's much easier just to have a spare battery to pop in when needed.
My last gripe is the camera. I applaud them for trying to thinking that a larger image sensor would give a sharp or sharper picture than a higher pixel cameraphone but that just didn't pan out. Don't get me wrong... most of my pictures are fine but really nothing to write home about when I've seen some photos on other camera phones... they're just as good or sometimes even better. The video recorder though is hands down the best on a cmeraphone.. it's the still pics that i have an issue with... and it's only night time so it's bearable.
Well that's about all I have. I still love my HTC ONE Smartphone. I think I hear that they're already working on the next "ONE" phone. I hope that they address these issue. I still recommend this phone to people who's not so demanding as I am. I so wanted to give it 5 stars but those issue was too hard to overlook.. if those issues were met I would give it 10 stars with just that comment!!

I have had the HTC One for a couple of months now, and I am still blown away with how stunning this device is. The camera, despite the 4MP sensor, takes gorgeous shots. Many of my shots are turning out better than my Canon Point and shoot camera. I am also so impressed with it, that I am using it as my primary camera foe filming videos for my Video Blog. The HD screen is a great compliment to the camera. It brings vibrant colors and crystal clear images. This does cause one problem, now when I look at my normal computer, I am saddened by the lower quality. My HTC One has the best resolution in the house. I also enjoy when others see the clarity and are in awe with how beautiful it looks. Then there is the power within. I have yet to find an app or task to slow this thing down. It is a beast when it comes to abilities. It's funny to see an app warn that a certain process might take a long time to complete and its done before I can tap "Ok". Of course I cannot leave out the solid chassis that houses all this power. The aluminum body is, for lack of a better word, perfect. It has just the right amount of subtle flashy accents to show the premium style without being gaudy. It also feels very balanced in the hand, and despite the large screen, it fits perfectly in my pocket.
Now to the software. HTC's new Sense 5 fits wonderfully in this styling scheme. It is simple, effective and not over bloated. I feel I have everything I need to have on my device, right out of the box, but this is Android we are talking about, you know I am loading it up with third party apps... and they all run well. There is nothing that can bog it down. In all I am beyond satisfied with the HTC One. I might even be bold enough to say that I will be happy keeping this One for much longer than I have ever kept a device. Perhaps even triple my normal "keep a device" duration.

This is a great phone with just a few minor bugs that need to be worked out. By far the fastest phone i have ever owned. The maps feature works better than any phone I've ever evcountered. The sound is amazing. My only complaint is the camera. It takes amazing pictures but it takes a very long time to get the camera to focus. Otherwise, awesome phone.

I can't begin to explain the meaning of this phone. HTC has taken our thoughts and put it into a piece of artwork. The thing that makes this device Man's best friend is because it hits on all of what makes the life of a phone. We have to have a screen to look at, the One has the best. We have to be able to hear the sound, the One has the best.We have to rely on the phone withstanding the sands of time and what is crafted here is just that. As for the sense 5, I love it. I love the live relevant feeds and am very excited to see what more options that will come out of it.. In fact I could see the live feed showing up as a forum pin such as."find us on Facebook" ... Find us on "Live Feed" with an HTC symbol next to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. This is history and unless the others (cell phone developers) catch up on quality then HTC will be bringing back "Quietly Brilliant" and adding "silent killer" after that.

So Had s3 , thought HTC would be a better move ..wrong, yes it a nice phone and what not but the features the s4 and s3 has are nothing compared to HTC one. Plus expandable storage and removable battery is aplus to have with Samsung. It was the greatest phone out there in hardware until the Galaxy s4 came out. I have to say the s4 has a brighter and more colorful display

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Wei010 Took a while, but finally I can say HTC is back!!!!
My first smartphone was three years ago when HTC was rolling with their awesome designs. When my contract ended 8 months ago I was waiting for an HTC phone that was everything I wanted out a smartphone, but HTC only gave phones that look and feel the same as the phones from a year ago. To me this was a major disappointment. I decided to wait 8 months and now I have a phone that exceededs my hopes from 8 months ago. A stunning phone that in my opinion is better than anything HTC has released so far. If HTC continues with these sleek and innovative designs in the next 2 years I would gladly buy another HTC phone.
Speakers (best sound out of any smartphone)
Storage (32 GB!!!! as a standard)
Front Camera (2mpx)
Screen beyond retina density
IR beam red light is visible through top speaker
Ultra-pixel could have a higher quality

The HTC One is a beautiful powerhouse, stacked with a ridiculously fast processor, an unbelievably gorgeous display, and a sleek sexy look that makes other phones simply look like a calculator from a 99 cent store. This phone has it all, amazing sound, great camera, entertaining features, and if it wasn't enough, the battery does an outstanding job at keeping this beast running.
This phone is the phone for you if you're interested in the best as far as smartphone usability goes. The HTC One is simply the best at doing the things that I need my smartphone for.
Kudos to HTC for their resiliency and ambition.

First off buy this phone if you haven't already !!! Coming from the iPhone 4 I was due for an upgrade after doing some independent research I was down to the Htc one or iPhone 5s. Super happy with my choice !!! Phone is super tight from screen clarity to unlimited options and customization. From a price perspective ( verizon ) it was a no brainer, I purchased the slick blue from best buy for $49!!! Crazy right !!! The phone does everything you could ask for of course coming from apples simple OS it did take some getting used to androids OS but that was part of the fun !!!! The sound quality from beats speakers are great for the music listener no more putting your phone in a box or cup to hear the volume the sound is great for phone speakers. The camera is above average during regular usage and amazing in low light situations. If you are only buying a phone for the camera then this may not be the phone for you as some cameras may be slightly better on other phones (5s and Nokia ) but the camera is just great for the avid photographer !! The OS is lightning fast and you are not handicapped by Apple to doing what you want ( example playing super mario kart with an emulator or watching flash video) The phones screen IMO is the most crisp on the market with full hd and 4.7 inch screen is perfect for all my apps like Instagram and FB also for playing games or watching YouTube . The phones body shape is sleek and the color and feel is just great !! Sexiest phone on the market and not to big so it fits nicely in your pocket !! Blink feed is cool and I'm sure with jellybean 4.3 the phones going to be even better !!! Oh the stock earbuds are awesome for free they rock !!! I honestly think they may be unlabeled beats earbuds. Now there is one issue I have and that's the battery is only average, drains pretty quickly but it is a computer in your pocket so I guess that's ok ( get snapdragon battery guru to help with the battery ) overall the phone is amazing and considering you can save over $200 from the iPhone I think it's a very smart choice !!!! Bravo HTC

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Munchy Absolutely stunning design, blazing fast and amazing features
Ever since the first time i picked up this phone, i have been blown away by its design and features, the display is beautiful, displaying crisp clear imagery whether watching a movie, viewing pics or browsing the web. the camera is loaded with features such as Zoe which creates short slideshows and highlights of the pictures and videos you took that day, the camera also takes very good low light pictures which i found extremely useful in low light situations. the speakers are amazing and i mean AMAZING, they are loud and clear and pack quiet a punch, plus with the addition of beats audio, you get amazing sound from whichever headphones your using. with htc sense your getting some really cool added features such as blinkfeed, a live tile like display that shows you the latest news and social updates, and is customizable, so you can add your favorite news sources. htc sense also includes sense TV, one of my favorite features that allows the phone to act as a IR remote, which besides for the fact that it allows you to see whats coming up next, getting info about a specific show or changing the channel you can fully control almost any TV or DVR. if i wanted to write everything about this amazing phone i would be able to write a book, this phone is absolutely fabulous inside and out.

i Love this phone everything about it is fantastic. there are some features i would like to point out, for starters the screen is amazing, its way beyond sharp, it is super clear and crisp, you cant make out pixels with a magnify glass. the speakers on this thing are insane,i was blown away by their clarity and bass, and they pack quite a punch. the camera is one of the features i love the most, it takes pictures extremely fast, so you don't miss that special moment, and with HTC sense you get really cool camera affects and features such as Zoe which takes a sequence of shots and lets you do all sorts of things like picking a best shot or always smile, it also automatically creates a short "highlight" of that days videos and pictures which i find very helpful, instead of making a affect, adding shortening and cropping the videos/pictures the phone will do all that for you and i can automatically upload my highlights to HTC Zoe were i can then share them with whomever i want which is extremely useful. the software is also a beauty, its clean fast and fluid thanks to the snapdragon 600 and 2GB of ram. lastly the design of this phone is stunning from top to bottom, i am told by people all the time that they think my phone is gorgeous. i would recommend this phone to anybody, its amazing inside out out.

Rated 4 out of 5 HTC ONE = ONLY ONE
Critics are correct. This device, as it says, is BOOMING. Love almost every aspect of this device! The only thing I believe I would ADD to this experience is a little more "personalization." I was only sad for a second when I didn't find a font setting for the device; only the size of the font. But overall this phone has yet to be determined its great skills. Updates and add-on's are still underway. Thank you so much HTC for coming up with this phone. I frown upon how long it took for it to release. But this device I don't recommend. I want to be the only one to have it :p
Ps. BIG HTC fan :D

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Jimbo99 HTC One, simply brilliant !
Like all new gadgets I eventually buy, this smart phone was scrutinized and researched thoroughly. I wasn't quite sure that I would fall in love with the aluminum vs abs plastic of the previous One X model. So I kept an open mind over the past couple of weeks, comparing HTC's lineup from the One, One X, the Windows 8 phones and even the Apple 4s & 5.
First held the One aluminum at an AT&T store. Theirs were demo floor models that were connected. Then stopped at Best Buy and held one of theirs as I am with Sprint as a carrier. That one was a fake demo model that only had the pseudo screen of what it would be like. Friday came and it was time to be at a Sprint retail outlet and they still didn't have it up and running as a demo.
After work drove home the 40 miles and stopped at the Aventura, FL location. No crowd, so I used the activated floor demo model for about 10-15 minutes and the experince had me. I tried the others, the Windows 8 phones, the iPhone5.
By 8 PM, I was home and exploring, setting up for my personal preferences. I recharged it once for a full charge and here it is Sunday night and I'm 95% done loading apps. Some I'm still evaluating.
I must admit, Sprint's plan makes the One experience a matter of how late you can stay up and configure it. I can't imagine what improvements could be made to this phone and still keep it in the same shell. If HTC fans were hoping for a HR with this phone, the One is a grand slam.
The only cons I've heard from any on-line review is that with largest blown up pictures, the quality isn't quite there with an 8+ MP camera. Who knows, maybe future versions of the One have higher MP camera specs incorporating ultrapixels ? Even stiil, the 4 ultrapixel camera produces better results for lighting and pictures for same size pictures to a certain size. Something tells me there's a significant tradeoff in picture file size that really makes more sense than the old school thought of more megapxels ?
At any rate, I am not disappointed in the phone at all. I was after the 64 GB model, Sprint only offered the 32 GB model. 64 GB is a developer's edition, but I think one could develop on a 32 GB model ?
