Rated 5 out of 5Â by GuMM You got to own the ONE!!
I wanted this phone as soon as it was announced and it has been few months since I got this baby to my hands. :) . Soon as I held this phone I just fell in love with it, it felt extremely awesome loved its design. Before I powered it up I made sure to admire its design for a while.
Blink Feed - I'm not sure about others, but I really love this feature. Because of this I read more and I'm pretty updated. I use it when I wake up, sometime when I'm totally bored and even before bed.
ZOE - Its pretty cool I like what it does to my gallery, and mostly love the fact that I can capture the moment more and its a pretty nifty feature when you got a crazy bunch of friends.
Boom Sound - I just can say HTC you got the perfect name for this feature.
If I was to speak about its performance I'd say so far the best performance I've ever had from all the phones I've used and tried out, in more detail, its pretty hard to find this phone to lag, the Audio quality is simply amazing. Display I just love looking at it. Love the fact that it shows the true colors of the images which I really prefer in a phone. The camera actually surprised me because it was way better than I expected, I don't use the camera much but I'd say for close up shots its an excellent camera. Battery life of the phone is not best but still I can mange a day with it with all my work. I even liked the fact that I can control my TV with the phone also love the feature that where I can program any remote to the the phone when the manufacture of the TV is not listed.
Finally I got say, I'm extremely impressed the the ONE and I have no regrets purchasing this and I hope HTC keeps doing this more. Hats off to HTC.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by macs The best phone ever!
You may like Samsung's Galaxy S4 or Apple iPhone 5, and yes, those are good phones but, they don't even come close to HTC One (And yes, I've tried them both).
From the moment the white box arrives you start noticing that, this phone has something different.
Then, of course, you turn it on, you listen to its audio quality and so on, and you realize that, it not only has something different. The whole phone is different, it has everything different.
And this difference is that, contrary to its rivals, this phone is well though and constructed from start to finish.
I've lots of phones before this one (including one iPhone), and I can certify it: HTC One, it's the best phone ever made.

I'm new to the whole HTC world and boy they have created a masterpiece. I've had my HTC One for about two weeks now and I just can't get enough of it. It's an absolutely amazing phone, the best phone I've ever owned. The build quality is out of this world, the finishes are amazing, the phone looks beautiful and feels amazing in your hand. I opted for the black HTC One and I have to say it looks extremely classy.
Instead of me blurbing on about its features all I can say is that I am extremely chuffed with my decision. If you're thinking of getting the One then don't even hesitate to get it, you won't regret it at all. This phone puts the biggest of smiles on my face every time I use it. I highly doubt you'll get a better experience from any of the other phones out there today.
Would highly recommend the HTC One!

The HTC One is the most stunningly beautiful phone I have ever laid my eyes upon. Using this phone has been nothing but a great, smooth experience. The camera performs well, the sound is to die for, the battery lasts an entire day even with my heavy usage, and the 1080p display is unmatched. It's really hard to find anything wrong with this device. Sense 5 compliments the very professional feel of the device, and makes it a very pleasing experience. Blinkfeed is a great way to get news and the convenience of it being one of your homescreens really encourages you to read those interesting stories that appear on it.
Good battery life
Screen is absolutely gorgeous
Audio recording quality is unmatched
Sound quality is unmatched
Camera is generally good, but great in low light
Sense 5 isn't full of bloatware that slows the phone down
HTC Backup makes it very easy to restore if you need to
The aluminum unibody feels amazing in your hand. The curved back makes you never want to put it down because it fits perfectly in your hand.
Amount of megapixels does make landscape photos feel lackluster.
I don't think I could really ask for a better device. HTC makes quality devices and they really showed it by releasing this beauty of a phone. The HTC One is the whole package. Amazing design, great hardware, and easy to use software.

HTC One seems great and most people want to try & touch while put it onto the table. But if speaking friendly; not a big difference other great smartphones like galaxy s4 and xperia z but ypu can easily feel the quality while you hold it.

Best phone I've had for style, looks, quality and it works and does exactly what it says on the box. It's the right size and feels good to hold, the screen is excellent as is the sound quality. Beats the iPhone don't know about Samsung as I've never had one but from what I've seen I'd rather hold a One.

I have had the HTC One for about 2 months now and I absolutely love it. The design, the features, the screen resolution, everything about this phone is wonderful. The quality is top notch, I wouldn't go with anything else. Only negative- the battery life is not absolutely horrible but if it was able to last an extra hour or 2 then that would be even better. I am frequently using the internet, music, messaging, and in periodic moments of boredom I play games. It will usually get me through a full day, but sometimes if I'm doing a little extra then it will die before I make it home. Thats not too much of a problem since I plan on getting a car charger. Overall: GREAT phone!

I brought the HTC One and found it was great but only tolerated sense 5 as I'm not a fan of the Apps the the App draw but the camera is really good, but then the Google Edition was announced and I fully converted mine to a Google Edition and I love it, It is a great phone and now I am even running the latest Android version 4.3!!!
Build quality is even better than iPhone 5 but the power button really needs to be moved to the sign or something because I keep dropping my phone when I try to reach the power button haha.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by DohDoh The only Smartphone to own.
I have worked in the wireless industry for 12 years. Over those years I have either tested, carried for business, and carried personally almost every phone that has come to market and even some that never made it to the public. Here is what you can expect from this game changing phone.
If you buy the 32 GB model it will come with approximately 26 GB available space. The only way to avoid this is to pay the extra money to get the 64 GB model or buy the 32 GB model directly from Google because they do not load the phone with "bloatware".
Honestly with everything being on clouds now the 32 GB is more than sufficient. People that are asking for a micro SD card slot really don't know how to manage data. Also, I will let you in on a secret; phone manufacturers are moving towards seamless case phones because the phone has more protection that way.
The camera is the best camera on any phone right now. It can take pictures in the dark and at night, whereas other phones are incapable of doing so, also it does a handsome job of capturing photos quickly and has more than enough features for any photographer.
The display is just beautiful.
It is easy to use. If you are technologically challenged, there is no question about any function on this phone that cannot be answered in a 30 second Google search.
The HTC One fits in one hand very comfortably. You can dial a number or text with your thumb holding it in the palm of your hand if you need to.
The 1.7 GHz, quad-core processor makes the phone get tasks done lighting fast.
There is so much that can be written about this phone. Last thing I will say about it is people have made complaints about the battery life, again this is nothing that cannot be fixed by using proper battery consumption technique.
To sum it up, you will love the HTC One more than you love the phone you have now, and you will love it longer than the phone you have now.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Mikee A beautiful phone with the best HTC Sense features yet.
I must say, this is a very beautiful phone. It also feels good to the touch and it certainly feels every inch a premium phone. However be sure to inspect the body before purchasing; the first model I got had factory defects on the aluminum body (dents, random rough spots etc.).
The sound on the phone when listening to music or videos is superb. It's almost a crime to use earphones because the speakers are so amazing. For some reason I find the supplied earphones subpar. You're better off buying your own pair.
The screen displays colors vividly and in high definition. It has less noisy colors than that of a Samsung phone. In comparison to Apple's Retina displays, the HTC One easily competes. The UltraPixel camera delivers and produces great photos with little effort. Custom tweaking the settings is almost not necessary under normal conditions. The HTC Camera app auto adjusts perfectly. However in low light conditions, the camera lags behind and doesn't produce the same HD photos. Of course this is expected with a mobile phone camera, but it performs better than the competition.
Finally there is one point that feels like a minor annoyance. The BlinkFeed works as intended and is great for staying up to date with your favorite topics. It fails slightly when connecting to Facebook. For some reason, despite authorizing the app to connect to Facebook, the app keeps on annoying me with a notification that there was an error. You can't dismiss it and even after several factory resets and updates, the problem persists.
Overall this is a beautifully designed phone. I'm a proud owner of an HTC One! :)

Rated 5 out of 5Â by MrGadgetman Well Done!! Form and Function!
For me personally, HTC has redeemed themselves, because they used to put out junk and I went out on faith giving them another shot. I have been a Samsung devotee for years. After a lot of research and playing around on the unit in the store, I decided to pull the trigger and trade in my Galaxy Nexus for this unit. I didn't really need a new phone, but I was drawn if not allured by its beauty. My GNex gave me no issues.
First the Good:
1. Construction & Size; this unit is built with outstanding quality. It is gorgeous to look at and it feels great holding it. The size isn't cumbersome and it fits right in your hand or pocket. It's got a little heft, but not too much to complain... it just feels like, hardware. I don't think I want a phone from this point on that isn't made of aluminum. It is the first phone that I thought was worth the actual price.
2. Camera; The camera takes great photos by day (though a little heavy on the processing) but let's face it; they all do. Daytime capture is easy. This unit does however excel at night shooting, thanks to its large aperture and large sensor. Instead of using a 15MP sensor and a tone of image enhancing, HTC went back to basic photography principles and threw in a larger sensor, optical stabilization and a large aperture. More light through the lens and a larger sensor to catch it means better photos, and since no one uses their smartphone to print billboards, they did away with the need to have a 10+ MP sensor, as it is overkill. The results are great pictures at half the image file size.
As far as usability, I love how you don't have to manually switch between still camera and video functions. Just get the subject in the sights and press the corresponding button, boom. Just a note: Since it only captures 4.0MP, you cannot switch capture resolution size. Not a problem since 4MP doesn't consume a lot of space.
3. Speakers: Short and to the point... They rock! I thought it to be a gimmick until I tried them out. You'll just have to see (hear) for yourself. Ringers, notifications, etc all come through loud and clear with great clarity and no distortion. All those stereo ringtones and notifications I spent time to create years ago are finally being realized! [evil genius laugh]
4. Screen: The screen is gorgeous and bright. Nothing else to say on that.
Most of these units have far more features than I'd ever use, but suffice to say that this one is no exception. People have either loved or hated Blink Feed. I actually don't mind it. I however went through the trouble to set it up properly too, so I only get stuff I care about to show up. True, you cannot turn it off, but you can exile it to the farthest panel on the left so it's out of the way. I absolutely LOVE that this thing is also an IR remote control. I have all my TVs (All Sony LCDs, and Sony A/V Receivers too) programmed and there is an awesome TV listings app that can tune to your shows for you.
Since this unit doesn't have 4.2.2, I have been forced to revert my thinking as there are some features that I have come used to on the the GNex that had the later version of Android. I don't knock the HTC hardware for that; I'm sure it will catch up soon enough.
The phone is fast and responsive. Apps launch quickly.
Now the gripes (minor or not):
-The tiny on/off button doesn't inspire a lot of confidence against sticking or breaking, especially since it doubles as the IR transceiver. We'll just have to see. Time will tell.
-The LED notification lights are miniscule and unless you have the phone level in your eyesight looking dead at it..., you'd be hard-pressed to notice that it's blinking, that is unless you're in a dim room. The LEDs are integrated inside the speaker grill and while that cleans up the appearance of the face..., function was sacrificed. Hopefully, an update to the firmware [HINT] will increase brightness to combat this.
-Video capture is either HD (720p, 1080P) or MMS (text message quality) that's it. No in-between. The phone won't dumb itself down to SD video, get over it.
Any further gripes would just be nit-picky. As with anything new and different, there are always going to be growing pains associated with the learning curve. Are there things I miss about my Nexus...? Sure. But, the gains in features are so numerous and the things I will miss are certainly not dealbreakers. No phone is perfect. All in all I am pleased. Well done, HTC. You are forgiven.

I got my brand new HTC One on April 23, 2013 and found that there's a dead pixel on the screen on May 8, just past 15 days of the retail replacement warranty, so that I have to send it to factory for repairing, I have waited for 2 weeks to get my phone back. I believed the screen has been replaced and looked great. However, the phone was dead suddenly on Aug 11, I couldn't turn it on so that I couldn't back up anything from the phone, I was really frustrated and have to send the phone out for repairing for another 2 weeks again...it's been repair for twice within 4 months, actually I only used the phone for less than 3 months since 1 months for repairing. I'm so disappointed and won't recommend others for this phone. I couldn't change other phone because of my 3 years contract with service provider, I can't imagine how can I use it for 3 years if it's been fixed twice within 4 months...hopefully it's the last time to fix it :(
