Camera is great, particularly when taking pictures of sceneries and family shots in well lit areas.
Sound quality was a definite improvement, specially when listening to music and watching movies with your earphones. Beats audio really enhances the experience.
Can't fault the screen one bit. That 720p LCD display is GORGEOUS!
Sense 4+ is a marked improvement, everything's more neater and easier. The default HTC apps are a joy to use.
Performance on this phone is just amazing, coming from a dual core phone I was stunned by how fast and responsive this phone was. from the little things like going to the settings and opening up the Play store to playing games and browsing heavy websites. Even after using the phone heavily, the battery lasts me the whole day. that extra boost they gave to the battery really helped. Don't need to charge the phone 2 to 3 times a day :)
When you look at it on the internet via pictures and videos it looks really good, but when you actually hold the phone, that high quality polycarbonate materiel that HTC used will amaze you by the softness and solidarity of the phone. It feels PREMIUM.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by dom246 Amazing in every way!
I have had a lot of experience withs HTC's both good and bad, but the one x+ is by far the best experiance I've had in a smartphone. The screen is beautiful, the processor is snappy and the design and build quality is very good. One problem I do see with this phone is that some games don't appear to be optimized for the tegra 3. Overall I feel that the one x+ is the best HTC phone I have owned and I expect to own it for a while longer.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Enthusiast Excellent all-rounder
The HTC One X+ is an excellent all-round media phone. Games and apps run well on the device, albeit with a slight touch of lag when using intensive 3D games - this is probably due to the amount of content on the phone, however (64GB of storage is a lot to fill!)
It's an excellent media centre, and I've got it configured to sync and play on all my media sources and outputs. This is relatively easy due to Bluetooth, NFC and the simple user interface. It's only let down by the battery life - all-day usage for an average user, perhaps, but for power users such as myself (6 email accounts syncing, lots of music and tweeting) that battery percentage drops quickly. Excellent work though, HTC.

You can't get in the internal memory. All the time I receive something is downloading and is very difficult to find it. You actually can't access your own documents.

Rated 5 out of 5 Wow
Well what can I say, I have been following this phone since the first day it was rumoured, and immediately started to save my pennies. I had it for christmas and the months of saving had paid off, it was everything I expected. This phone has made my life so much easier, I can walk around my house watching tv (a free app) so I don't miss a second, it has kept me incredibly organised and given me just fantastic data speeds in my rural town! It has changed my life completely, the 64GB of memory has given me what seems like endless amounts of storage, I can have what ever apps, videos and music I want without having to worry about space.
Durable- the tough g-glass 2 display never scratches or shatters when i drop it
Camera- amazing quality pictures with so many customisable options to play around with your shot you can create pictures rather quite amazing
screen- what can I say, it's only beaten by the rare and expensive 1080p displays
Keyboard- 4.1 keyboard is a joy to use, love the swipe feature
sound- beats audio isn't just a selling point, it really enhances the bass and vocal, it's just amazing, you have to hear it to know it!
organiser- the helpful and easy to use calender and widgets allow me to never miss an appointment
storage- 89GB of storage (inc. the free 25GB dropbox storage), I really love this, I can have what ever I want, there's no stopping me, 8 trays of apps and 10Gb of music and I still haven't even used up 25% of the storage
Web- data speeds in my rather small village are incredible, I have about 6MBPS in the country side, just unbelievable
google now- I love you. Siri is nothing compared to you...
Speaker- a small but surprisingly VERY loud when you use hollow wood to amplifie the sound
Games- no lag what so ever even in the heaviest of online gaming
speed- the processor is quite frankly amazing, I have thrown everything at this phone at once, and yet I have never got it to lag, at all...ever...
Customizablitiy (if that's a word)- the possibilities are utterly endless, leaves apple and even other android devices weeping in its' trail, you can really make it your own
Htc sense 4+- looks and feels clean and just awesome
Battery life- I just about get a full days use out of this, HOWEVER, I am such a heavy user I physically can't put this phone down (as you can probably tell from this review), light users will be able to get 2 days and moderate users will easily get a days use out of this device. A tip I would say is the power saver setting, USE IT, IT WORKS!
Wifi- There is sometimes a drop in signal but this can be avoided, speed is not affected most of the time (and even when it is it still runs like Usain bolt on speed)
Well that's it from me, I hope you read all of it, I would highly recommend this phone, best thing I have ever owned, I love it, it really will benefit you in a number of ways can't stress that enough.

I really like this phone but HTC you have to update the android to 4.2. The main app I want to use, sky go, is not compatible with 4.1.1. sort this and you'll get a 5 star from me

i have had this phone since November and i can defiantly say that it is a great phone to have. the processor is great and can keep up with all my apps and internet use. the audio is amazing and give you a great sound that has a great bass. the display also very good everything is very clear and well pixilated. the camera is very clear and captures every small detail extremely fast which i'm grateful for as i enjoy taking many photos and both front and back cameras are great for that. The only problem i would say the phone has is that it can become really over heated even when its not charging but if you leave it for a few minutes it goes back to normal. on top of that sometimes when it is charging and you are using it the light starts flashing red and green and i realized when that happens the phone is no longer actually charging but that can be solved if sometimes you stop what your doing on it or if you disconnect the charger and plug it back in after about 5 minutes. apart from that the only other thing is that it may freeze sometimes but it is rare and i don't really blame the phone as the level of apps and games i play wouldn't usually be able to be withheld by other handsets. overall i think this phone is amazing and would recommend it to anyone, i already got 5 of my friends to buy it and they are also hooked too.

I got this phone us my contract was ending so choose this over the sgs3 and iphone 5 over the sgs3 because the sgs3 is cheap and nasty plastic and the iphone 5 because it is such a over rated phone. A few of my friend have the normal one x and it was fast so this phone is much faster than theres and im really happy to be knowing this will be my phone for the next 2 years. thanks htc

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Bensid94 Absolutely amazing
I purchased this phone just before Christmas and I can honestly say it is the best phone I have had the pleasure of using. I previously had the samsung galaxy s3 and even though others gave it great reviews, I always thought it was lacking something. The htc one x+ has great battery life and will easily last a day, if not two. The quad core processor is the quickest I have ever experienced and does all tasks perfectly. The Internet is quick and easy to use and the keyboard is the best I've seen so far. The only two little niggles I have are the fact that the new android system has removed flash player so even though the phone comes with a dedicated flash player, android make it unusable and also the camera, if you don't hold it still or allow it to focus properly, produces cartoon like images. However, I believe this is due to my lack of patience as I always rush camera shots. The built in beats audio system makes listening to music a pleasure and even after prolonged periods of music listening, it still has plenty of battery life. Another great feature is the build quality of the device, and i would go as far as saying it is superior to even the iPhone 5. Overall, I believe this is the best phone out at the moment and would recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic phone. The best one I've owned. 1 small draw back is still the battery though! Absolutely great for day to day use (calls, texts, email and surfing) but drops significantly when playing games! Also generates a lot of heat at the back when playing games. That being said however, it still leaves iphone and Galaxy for dead as I think all phones suffer the same issues as this when the processor is pushed to the max. Definitely recommend this phone though, it won't let you down!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by connor33 amazing, but awfull battery
This phone is amazing as all the other reviews say, amazing speed, build quality sense 4 is brilliant and the phone is the best out there in my opinion. But the battery is so bad, even with power saver on juice defender app and making sure not to many apps are running if you play a game for half an hour nearly half of your battery gone im struggling to get a day. Anyone else having this problem?

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Androidgeek123 Best over all phone hands down! Murders the Galaxy S3 in performance!
Use to own galaxy S3 and now HTC One X+ and this phone just out does the S3 in performance by far! every function is carried out at ridiculous and blazing fast speed while being butter smooth! Sense 4+ is now the lightest Sense UI you've ever seen unlike the old sense versions which were known to hog down your phones resources and make your phone laggy. Now everything is smooth and done instantly without a hint of lag. The battery life is better than most people make it out to be especially on power saver which to my surprise works much better than I though, can play a lot of intensive 3D games without any lag while still having power saver on. The Screen size is perfect even for people with small hands which I am one of those people and at first the phone felt a little large but after a couple of hours of usage you get use to it and realize you can still use the phone with one hand, the screen size is perfect especially when watching videos or playing games, the colour and brightness and contrast and over all visual quality of the screen is the best I've seen on any phone. Keyboard is really accurate for typing, much better than galaxy s3's stock keyboard. Camera is really sharp and ridiculously fast with burst shooting which takes like 5 pictures a second if hold the on screen button down. The browsing is blazing fast, includes "flash player" meaning you can watch all videos on the web without any problems which most companies don't include in android 4.1 jellybean anymore. Sound quality is just unbelievable, best sound quality on any phone hands down, before the old versions of beats audio use to be just a marketing gimick but now that HTC included a amplifier in the speaker of the phone and modded Beats audio the quality is ridiculously good, the loudness of the volume can pop your ears due to the amplifier at work if you put the volume on max which is better than on somephone where the volume especially when using headphones is too quiet. The use of the phone is extremely easy to understand and is very simple so I encourage anyone who's never had a smartphone to buy this phone as it is really simple to use and understand in a very small amount of time. All in all I couldn't be happier that I bought this phone, I was originally thinking of buying the Nexus 4 but now I am glad I didn't buy that phone as this ended up being so much better, 64gb internal memory is really large most average users will find it hard to use up all that space as I've put everything i need on my phone, installed a ton of apps plus twice as much stuff i don't really need on my phone like 8 hd movies and still had 30gb free. Build quality is also amazing, only thing to think about is even though the build quality is amazing i still recommend to buy a thin phone case as the camera lens and the screen slightly come of meaning those parts touch when you put the phone on the screen or on the back... over all 9/10, 1 point taken away for the camera lens and screen slightly coming out and being easily touchable to any surface the phone is places on e.g. table etc

Absolutely great phone - great style, great performance and great features. Not so great if you drop it 3 times in a slightly less than sober night, all landing on concrete screen first, as this leads to a veritable spiders web of cracks over your screen after less than 2 weeks of ownership. Other than that there is no issues, and I suspect that is more my fault than HTC's.

Since the Jellybean upgrade the calendar app will not store more than 30 days of entries. This is totally inadequate and HTC need to emphasise to Android that 30 days to a businessman is no good. The old Desire phone, that luckily I still have stores up to 18 months of data which means that I also have all my Radiotherapy treatment on it as well as my Gmail backup, which the jellybean version will not retreive.

I've had my HTC one X+ for nearly 5 months now, so safe to say I've worn it in and I have to say its performance is outstanding. Fast and battery sensative, this piece of tech looks after itself so you don't have to manage it. From data to batterly to display, your looking at higher tech for all, I don't use a laptop or desktop but this phone is just as good and stands upto anything they can do. Large display (great for gaming and movies) two way camera for the happiest of snappers and amatuer movie makers, quick touch sensativity display just seems to cover all the bases, the fact that the only time you notice something about the phone these days is when something goes wrong, and with this device, nothing has! I'm glad that I've went for the extras of the plus version as it gives you the package expected by the tech conscious.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by jamieere Quietly Brilliant!
I've had this phone for a week now previously owning the HTC Sensation and I must say the performance it gives is amazing! HTC Sensation had Dual Core which I though was quick and just as I thought it couldn't be beaten they added this with an NVidea Tegra 3 Quad Core Processor and I must say it doesn't disappoint.
The design is clean, modern and crisp and the screen size and quality is again amazing.
The sound quality is a lot better than what was built into my Sensation!
The negative thing is still going to be the battery and that's why I couldn't rate it 5/5. The battery is a lot bigger yes but because there is so much power it still drains quite quickly! I'm sure this will be improved as time goes by though.
Overall there is a lot about this phone to applaud and celebrate and would have no further hesitation to buy the next upcoming phone when my contract next expires.

I love this phone, after a hate affair with an I-phone and cordial relationship with a Blackberry I can honestly say that I am totally blown away with my One x plus. I have to use public transport to get to work and it is the perfect travelling companion. The screen is perfect for gaming and the music player is awesome, I have a few friends with I-phones and Galaxies that are seriously thinking of defecting now.

But still owning the phone is worthwhile. Peaking for HTC One but thinking of staying loyal to this one or maybe own both of them :p
