I had the iPhone 4 and I thought that I wouldn't want another phone that wasn't Apple ever again. Well I was wrong. I got the HTC One S with TMobile and I'm absolutely IN LOVE! Never again do I want an iPhone. Their boring and you can't personalize or do anything without having to jailbreak it and then worrying about if something happens will your warranty will be voided. This is my first HTC phone and I will forever be sticking with HTC. Great jobs guys. You guys deserve every penny you get!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by FANut Superb Phone
I was looking to upgrade to a phone that would give me ICS with good graphics and connectivity for remote working from my office. I have had this phone for 2 weeks now and it is absolutely superb, surpassing my expectations in all areas.
It is so easy to use and set up, yet offers a wealth of extra features. Having been at home on convalescence I have had so much time to play with this device and am still not bored with it. I had thought of going for the One X but I am glad that I compromised the larger screen for this very able phone. Unless someone is after the highest spec possible I cannot imagine that there is anything that this phone cannot do for 99% of people.
Superb operating system, stunning graphics, excellent connectivity, very easy to use yet has depth to features, this phone will not disappoint.

This phones features are impressive and the camera takes great shots. However i find that the battery life goes flat pretty quickly. I also have problems with the screen flipping and the back control functions locking. At present there have been no updates to sort this problem. I am not the only one with this problem. however for the first two months it was working i really liked it.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by geloalonzo01 Probably the best HTC smartphone ever made
Despite the fact that the HTC One S model Z520e which has the S4 Snapdragon processor is not released here in asia, I still managed to buy one in italy, and I'm proud to say that I'm one of the luckiest owner of the HTC One S with S4. Great performance, vibrant and realistic display, high quality pictures and videos, multitasking, and a very fluid Sense UI. This phone doesn't have 'lag' in its vocabulary. And lastly, chipping issues with the MAO doesn't affect my One S, so overall, it's the perfect smartphone in the market. I will definitely recommend this to everyone. HTC - definitely brilliant. :)

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Jofro Super Phone!
This is simply one of the top three or four phones available. Lightweight and slim but very solid to hold, the phone just has a quality feel. The 4.3 inch super AMOLED screen is gorgeous, colors are bright and vibrant even from an angle. Thanks to the dual core 1.5 GHZ processor, boot time is very quick and screens scroll smoothly and quickly while apps open in a blink. The Swype-like keyboard is also great, although I did go ahead and download the actual Swype keyboard itself. Some are concerned about the lack of a removable memory but I have no problem with 16 gigs myself and at the moment, T-Mobile is offering 25 gigs free via Dropbox which work well with the pre-installed Dropbox app. Speaking of.. the phone comes with one of the better assortments of software you'll find. There were a few things I could have lived without but that's true of just about any new phone. The hard keys, three of them, are spaced nicely at the bottom of the screen and respond well. The speaker is above average for a phone but you are going to want to have headsets for this phone. Put them on, turn on the Beats Audio feature and get blown away. Nothing less than awesome! And then we have the camera. At first, I couldn't stop taking pictures just to admire them. As I mentioned before, colors pop, images are sharp, and the cam comes with a ton of enhancements to let you use your own photo skills. Panoramic and burst shots are only the tip of the iceberg. Video is equally impressive and I love that you can extract a single pic from a video just by clicking. There are several other features on the phone but bottom line, it's a joy to use and looks sexy doing it. You cannot go wrong with this device.

Rated 5 out of 5 Simply Amazing!
Love everything about his phone. The iconic design, imagechip sense, build material and quality, and even HTC Sense that i used to hate. HTC has improved so much over the past year im considering to never switch over to any other manufacturer. love taking pictures with this phone, everything looks great and IMO has one of the, if not, the best smartphone camera out there. the only downside for me is the front-facing camera, i might has well not have it due to its poor quality, but what can i say, i got this phone over the One X. This phone is thin, form-factor is perfect, SAMOLED is also great, and the design is new and refreshing. Keep it up!

Rated 3 out of 5Â by KBfromAL Not better than the HTC phone I replaced
I replaced my HTC MyTouch 4G with this phone expecting it to be a better phone. I have constant issues with it not recognizing my contacts when dialing or when receiving text messages. It recognizes some contacts and not others.
When I search for someone in my contacts, it is extremely slow.
The Swype feature doesn't always recognize words as well as my previous phone, even when I Swype extremely slowly stopping on every letter.
Also, the voice recognition doesn't always work very well and it gives me suggestions of people or strange words that aren't even in my contacts.
Not happy. If you use this phone for business, I would not suggest this one.

Im writing this review with my recently bought new htc one s. Its hard to desceibe well enough how good this phone is.
I really like the thinness, light weight, design! Amaizng. And the screen - perfect sieze. The htc one x feels a little too big for one hand, but this is perfect, and i do not notice that the one x would have been performing any better than one s, its so freaking fast and - very fast upload, fast app download, installing, web browsing, app performances..fast!
Its my all time favorite phone by miles! Ps! I think the black version of the one s looks the coolest!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by RichW This phone continues to amaze!
Opening the box was just as exciting! This phone is fast, smooth and fluid. One flaw that I noticed was HTC trace, it's just not ready, no auto spacing and poor word recognition. If that's a reason for you not to get this phone that you have problems. HTC One X little brother is beast with a sexy design. With the Dual Core processor, 8 Megapixel camera, and the recently updated Android 4.0.4/Sense 4.1 and the confirmed Jelly Bean update this October you can't go wrong with this phone!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Amarie FIRST DAY WITH MY HTC ONE S
Just got the phone yesterday and im not too thrilled. This phone is cute and very loud but its a couple of things that are really IRKING me. I hate that the phone doesnt accept a memory card. I do a lot of downloading and now im starting to worry. I have also noticed that the weather is not as accurate as my HTC Sensation was. Even without any service the Sensation is giving GREAT weather information. Can anyone help me find the SMILEYS??? i can't seem to find them. :b Other than that, the phone is really cool. I love the camera. It takes really clear pictures.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by HTCuser6 Best thing since sliced bread
Previously had a HTC Wildfire for 2 years then upgraded to the HTC One S (on T-Mobile). It's amazing. Fantastic quality sound system (using headphones), brilliant camera, easy to use apps/internet, messaging is easy too. Very Attractive and Battery life is good. Fast performance, definitely worth the upgrade. I think I'll stick to HTC over blackberry/apple.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by KonradB focused on design - not on basic construction rules
The htc ons s looks really cool. It is very thin and has a camera inside which is even able to take HDR pictures.
But: The display is too near at the sides of the housing and slightly elevated. Therefore the housing does not protect the display sufficiently, which makes the phone extremely vulnerable if it hits plane ground, even from small heights. Also original htc hard shells (with or without protection cover) do not protect the display. This is because of two other construction bugs: Firstly the protection cover may open if it falls. Secondly the sides of the hard shell are lower than the display. Therefore the shell can not absorb kinetic energy by its deformation - because it is not where it has to be (performance and ease of use - 1 Star). Perhaps some developers were careless because of the usage of gorilla glass and forgot basic principles of construction.
Another bad thing is that the display glass is bonded with the screen in order to produce the phone thinner. Therefore a broken glass can not be replaced alone. Fixing a broken screen is about 200€ or 40-50% of the original phone and too much as it is caused by faulty design.
The question, whether one/I should repair it or buy a reliable new one is quite difficult to answer.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by AlastairI Blown Away
I had a smart phone previously, but it was a slow processor, small display and intermittent touchscreen, the HTC One S has shown me what a real smartphone can do!
Blisteringly fast, smooth, a beautiful display and absolutely no issues since I've received it. The battery live is much better than I expected, I charge every night and there's usually around 40 to 50% left, so I really have no reason to complain there.
The interface is intuitive, internet is fast and games run without issues. So far I really can't say a bad word about the phone.
The only thing, that is of no fault of the phone, is it arrived with slight damage to the plastic top case which covers the camera and sim card. It's small, but being as over protective as I am I was a little disappointed it arrived with these two small marks.
But, this is nothing to do with the phone, and doesn't affect the operation, in terms of build quality overall it's solid, smooth and nice to hold.
Quality product, great work, nice phone, good job, and other words of praise :)

This is my first phone, and it is easy to use, simple, and most of all beautiful! All of my friends want to have one! I don't have to even tell them why I love it so much. Within the first few seconds, they instantly want one! So wonderful!!!! I think the best feature is the camera. Because it is always there when I don't seem to have a proper camera! And it takes the most beautiful shots!
I love my phone, and I wouldn't change it for the world!!!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by DesignerTom An incredible phone
Don't have time to write a huge review but simply to say that after a lot of research and deliberation decided this is phone to get and the experience of having it has only further impressed me.
Genuinely think android is a generation ahead of IOS and pretty much can't find anything to fault with this phone. Battery easily lasts a day of fairly frequent use so for me is no concern to just charge it at night.
One X was too big for me but this is good compromise between big screen and pocket friendliness. Also think the appearance of it makes the S3 look like a plastic toy.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Prism Great phone, but...
Unfortunately I have the version with the S3 processor. Performance is fine but HTC has not offered updates for it like the ones with the S4 processor. Otherwise it's a great phone with beautiful hardware and a right sized screen. Improve support for it and I'll give it 5 stars!

This phone is great. It has a great premium feel, the camera is awesome, battery life is alright (with light normal use I got 3-4 days out of it). I picked this over the S3 because of screen size, and I have not regretted that option. I feel that the 4.3" screen is perfect for easy one-handed use, and the phone is superior to the S3 in build quality aswell. Highly recommend this phone :)
P.s The Beats audio speakers are AWESOME !!!

Rated 1 out of 5Â by michaelprograms Screen broke too easily
I had this product for two weeks before the screen shattered (5 months ago) and I'm stuck in a contract with this awful phone for another year and a half. My phone fell from a height of 3 feet and the screen shattered and splintered. There are no replacement parts out there unless I feel like paying $150-$200 for a replacement part on a phone they are giving away free and that only has a resale value of $200. What a waste. I really liked this phone before it the screen shattered but now I'm stuck with a broken phone and can't do anything about it for over a year. Its a nice thin design though.
