Rated 4 out of 5 by Epic Device Great speed and battery life, beautiful display and design. I would like to see a higher grade metal for the chassis as it does dent easy (dent from the tooth of a dog on the top) and wish it had NFC June 22, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by An amazing smart phone! I love this phone, let me start by saying this phone just screams quality in every way. When you hold it you can just feel how solidly built it is, even more so when you use it. It is just a solid block of quality, no android brand does this better than HTC, this holds true for the one s!. No plastic, cheap feel here!. It's the perfect size for my personal taste, 4-4.3 inches is the sweet spot for a smartphone imo. Still feels good and comfortable in the hand and provides a large, beautiful viewing screen. The sound quality is the best I've ever heard from a digital device period, the beats integration is awesome. The camera quality is superb, with crisp and clear pictures. I'll finish by saying that I am very happy with my HTC one s. Glad I chose this android model. June 22, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by S3 joke, no signal after 6 hours from purchase I could start by saying the one s looks extraordinary, it's a joy to look at and it feels great in the hand with superb weight distribution and a pretty good grip because of the anodization process. BUT what i found out later is that my one s has a s3 processor instead of the s4 and an adreno 205 instead of 225, which translates to poor battery life, overheating when performing the simplest of tasks and a more sluggish response when opening certain apps, even the camera. My retailer never said anything about the phone having the s3 instead of the s4. HTC should never advertise a phone with certain hardware and then change that hardware because it isn't in enough supply. HOWEVER this is not the main issue i have with this phone. A few hours after i bought the phone it lost its signal and no matter what i tried i couldn't get it to recover the signal.Tomorrow I am going to try and replace the phone, or maybe get something else. I am very disappointed with the phone even though it is very beautiful...it just isn't what it was advertised to be. June 26, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by what iPhone? I enjoyed getting this phone. Knowing that it'd be a big improvement on the camera and the thin body compared to the mytouch 4g. If you have the settings just right, you can use this phone for up to 15 hours! I love it! I love that I can use it as an mp3 player including the beats audio. I totally recommend you picking up this phone! June 29, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding I've had this phone since the first week of June and let me tell you, this is THEE BEST PHONE that I've had so far. I can't see how you can out beat the HTC One S, unless HTC comes out with a new phone that has a laser/holographic keyboard or something. the clarity in the audio is amazing and the camera is a complete world of its own. any phone that can take 20 pictures in 5 seconds is an A+++ in my book, and the fact that you can record videos and take pictures at the same time? and record slow motion videos? that's just too awesome. HTC completely satisfied us with this "One". July 6, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing in a cellular device! Camera is amazing , sound is amazing especially with beats headphones of course. The amoled screen gives such vivid pictures and great colors. The web speed is faster than speedy Gonzalez. Everything else is top noch amazing! July 20, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great phone but problems The first one i got had a problem connecting to the network, everytime id get a call i could answer it but it would loose connection instantly. I went back to the Tmobile store and exchanged it for another one and it has a serious over heating problem as compared to the first one, also whenever i exit any sort of app it has to load the home screen, which the first one didnt, and it has trouble connecting to any signal. Its a great device but not a phone since it cant connect. July 21, 2012
