I love it becauseI wanted a phone that isn't almost as big as an iPad. HTC really got it right. I hope it lasts forever.......

If you want a dainty little phone, this is the ticket. Same size as the original. The auto word feature comes up with the strangest responses when I text or write an email (back to hunt and peck). Seems to be a bit slow on the processing sometimes. I've dialed a number to call and it will erase the number then I'll have to retype it again. Sometimes 2-3 tries. Not impressed.
You'll have to adjust the camera if you want to take a mid evening shot. I have to position it just right to get a true color photo.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by jclayton A great phone, but gorilla glass isn't what it used to be
My first HTC Incredible was nearly indestructible. I loved (and love) HTC's customization of Android, and elegant phone design. I have been very pleased with the phone from a functional standpoint (aside from the battery life, but I knew about that.)
However, after only four months, in a protective case, my screen has cracked multiple times. This is far from the durability I experienced in three years with the Incredible 1.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by 3521MT Nothing Different
I have had the Droid Incredible, Droid Incredible 2 and now the Droid 4G LTE and I personally found the Droid incredible to be a better phone than the rest. The battery life on this phone is horrible. I unplug my phone at 530 am and by 1200 it is dead. I do not make more than one call in this time frame and maybe send 10 text messages. I am a teacher and therefore I am rarely on my phone during the day. By the time I am ready to go home my phone is completely dead. The only positive thing I can say is that it is fairly easy to switch between phones due to the fact they all run off the droid system. Other than that its nothing special. My wife has a Droid Incredible 2 and and her internet is just as fast as mine and can do everything I can on my phone. I will be looking for another phone soon.

Upgraded to this from the old Droid Incredible about a year ago and I absolutely love it. I'm a heavy business user, conf calls, bluetooth, email, traveling, and this phone delivers on all counts. Plus I love the small size. I'm assuming most of the people writing negative reviews would probably be better off with something simple like an iphone, but if you know how to handle an android this one is a great deal.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by MissLynn29 Overall great phone
This is my very first smartphone, although my husband has the original Droid Incredible and Ive used his a fair amount.
Overall its a really good phone. The 4G is speedy, the design is sleek and its easy to use and pretty responsive. Ive had some minor issues with touches not landing, but it might be because of my screen protector.
I did find that it came with a fair amount of bloatware, but I disabled most of it and moved it off my app screen. Ive enjoyed customizing my home screens and finding new widgets and apps to use.
I wouldnt recommend this for someone whos not very tech savvy, but if you have a bit of experience its easy to pick up on.
Call clarity is good, camera has some impressive features (and theres also a front-facing one!), its comfortable to hold and overall, Im pleased with my choice.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by mustangmatie This HTC phone is reliable and awesome
I have had this HTC phone for one year and I would totally recommend this to anybody looking for a smart phone. I have had other smart phones in the past and my son has an IPhone; thus, I have seen the horror stories first hand. However, this phone far exceeds all expectations on speed, reliability, and gadgets for a cell phone. I thought my Droid X was a good phone until I bought this HTC. I can tell you that my experience after a year of heavy use from morning until night, this phone has treated me well and I would never get anything else after this. I hope this helps anyone looking to buy a new phone, and I can tell you that you will not be disappointed.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by incrediblydisappointed1 Nothing like it's predecessor.
I choose this smart phone because my first smart phone was the Incredible. It was easy to use, had all the features I needed, and had great call sound, even with my Bluetooth. I find this phone harder to use, call quality is poor and Bluetooth use is poor. It cuts out, and the echo is hideous. The other issues I have are things I can work around but the call quality, especially with Bluetooth use is almost intolerable. I am on call around the clock, and sometimes cannot understand what is said when I am called, and if driving sometimes I have to pull over.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Jandros GREAT Phone
On a 2-year upgrade I seriously thought I wanted to get away from Android (I despise google) so I went with a Windows-based Nokia Lumia 822. Big mistake. The phone was alright, no serious complaints with the hardware, but in my opinion WP8 is a total wipeout. So back to Droid.
Before my Motorala Droid 3 (very nice phone) I had an HTC Ozone running Windows 6.5, and I loved that HTC, so I took the Nokia back after 5 days and (after 10-12 hours of research) did a hardware-swap for the HTC Droid Incredible 4G. THIS phone is FANTASTIC.
My only complaint so far is that on the keyboard, the 123/ABC button is right up next to the "go" button, and that was a problem before I got used to it.
I'm still learning my way around Android 4.0 (and HTC's rendition of it) but overall, this phone is loaded, fast, feels great, and I can one-hand just about every task, which means I love its compactness while still having a plenty-big-enough display. The phone itself is noticeably narrower than the Lumia 822, and just a little smaller than the Droid 3. Weight is about the same (on the heavy side) but I've long since gotten used to that.
As for features, this phone met all of my most critical demands, which included memory expansion, removable battery, and global-ready in a 4G package.
- Call quality/clarity is the BEST I've ever had on a cellphone, or on any kind of phone for that matter.
- Signal strength is FAR better than anything previous in the worst fringe area in the city. I'm consistently getting 4 bars (at 4G/LTE), where on any other phone I was lucky to get and hold 2.
- Internet: The pre-installed browser is good enough. It does everything I want so far. This is hugely important for me. On the WP8 phone it was one frustration after another, even after I downloaded the UC Browser which was top-rated for WP8.
Android 4.0 is just great. Of course it's more complex than anything I've had before, but I'm still having fun exploring.
Sharp image, great call quality, features, very comfortable in my hand and amenable to my long fingers, all for 50 bucks. I feel great about buying this phone.

If you're not after a phone that you have to do EVERYTHING for you (ie. if you don't spend all day on your phone because you have a world outside of apps, etc.) this is an awesome phone. I use it for email, FB, apps for my kid, weather, reading a bit, etc. and texting and talking. Never an issue. Have to charge it every couple of days, depending on how much it's being used.

Very disapointed in this phone. It drops calls. Drops data and half the time this phone doesn't even pick up 3g. Overall this phone is very slow. Not texter, web browsing, emailing friendly do to having such a small screen. The camera doesn't like to focus and often times freezes. Very frustrating. Does not do well with apps. Very slow to load them.
The sound on this phone is awful. During calls I can't hear.
Beats audio is very static doesn't project sound well. Also can never hear my ringtones. Does not preform well while using GPS. Op

Rated 4 out of 5Â by BakersfieldBobT Good phone, but...
This is an excellent Android phone except for one shortcoming. Unlike my previous phone (a Motorolla), you can't tether it without paying Verizon an extra fee. Most non-HTC phones can be tethered so you can WiFi connect a tablet to them to access the internet. The phone has been very durable and has very good battery life. It does have a lot of bloatware (like all Verizon cell phones), but has plenty of memory so that isn't much of an issue. My other complaint is that HTC provides a very poor car mode, but that can be overcome with free third party software.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Corey9382672 I really wanted to love this phone..
I really wanted to love this phone but already have been through 2 in the last 4mths. My first one was super slow to the point where it would take several minutes to even turn on. So my 2nd one was fine for awhile until it started having camera issues where the camera wouldnt always turn on when prompted to do so. Any my latest issue was during a trip to Yankee stadium. It completely dropped all of my service once we got there and didnt come back until several hours after the game, leaving me stranded without being able to call home or use GPS. Another issue is the power button doesnt always work good either. If this phone worked like it was supposed to, id absolutely love it. Call quality is great but there are certainly more negative than positive with this particular device. It constantly has location issues too with the GPS feature.

This is one of the best smart phones Ive ever owned. If youre tired of carrying around a large phone, try this one. Its got all the features of phones like the HTC Thunderbolt but is better on battery life and also comes with Ice Cream Sandwich ROM. This phone has been very stable since Ive purchased it at full retail price several weeks ago. I have on regrets.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by huhwhat It's been a decent phone with a couple of notable exceptions.
I've been an Android fan for a few years. That being said, I loved this phone as an upgrade from my former phone, the Droid Incredible II. About four months into ownership (I've had it nearly a year) I started noticing I'd have to fight the phone to keep the text box open while I was making a call. It wanted to close immediately, which made checking voicemail or calling for business interesting. A few months later, after updates to the phone, it started running really slow and I felt it did not have enough internal memory. I had to eliminate a lot of apps to get the phone back into working order.
The phone has overall worked okay, but I'm glad I get to upgrade soon.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by mkay2003 Worst phone I have ever owned
My girlfriend and I have both had these phones for approximately 7-8 months, and the call quality is terrible. I could be sitting in the same spot in my house with full service, and my calls sound like I am driving up and down hills and constantly losing service. Also, the charging port is almost shot. I have to have my phone sitting a certain way while it's plugged in so it will constantly charge. I would not recommend this product to my worst enemy. It is terrible.

Had the Droid HTC now for a year. Put a otter box on it from day one, screen protection on, looks like the day I got it. The battery does get hot once in while, but of course thats because I use the phone really heavy some times so that I belive this is normal. The phone runs the apps very smooth with no problem, however it hangs up on the home screen sometimes and it puts a dialogue box with a message saying its loading. It can be annoying at times, but I do a complete reset then it works normal again. The software does up grades itself which is good, I don't have to worry about the phone being update. Its been a good phone so far wouldn't want any other phone. Love my Droid

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Ren0226 Hate it!!! Worst phone I have ever owned!
I was kind of forced into this phone when my Droid 3 died (may it rest in peace) and I cannot stand it. The "Beats Audio" is a joke. Sounds really cheap. Switching from the Droid 3 to this took a little getting used to because there is no menu button like I'm used to and, of course, the virtual keyboard which I'm not a fan of. I miss texting without looking. Also, I'm not sure if this is an isolated issue or not but it constantly says "SD card unexpectedly removed" while I'm listening to music or looking at pictures in my gallery. I have to pop it out then back in and shortly thereafter it does it again. I miss several texts because it doesn't alert me sometimes. I have to pull up my messages just to make sure I didn't miss any. But I always get alerted of every single email every time. Not nearly as important as my texts though. Call quality it sub-par. I always have an echo and it can take upwards of a minute for the call to connect when dialed. The phone is slow to respond now as time goes on. For instance, lately it is taking 10 to 15 seconds to unlock. Battery life? Ah-ha! What a joke! 2 charges per day? Ridiculous. I am so done with Android phones. This is my 3rd one and I can't wait to get an iPhone. No more "insufficient storage" alerts and nonsense associate with Android. Simplicity at last.
