Love the phone to death. Had the Razr before hand and absolutely hated that atrocious battery life it had. I can use the DNA all day with some frequent usage with videos, facebook, games, and still have it last a good 14 hours with 40% left... I have made it a challenge to try and kill the battery in one day, and it is very hard to do.
My only complaint with the phone...
I bought this game strictly because it has the quad core processor and the 2gb ram to run good games on the market... its compatible with barely any of them... I dont get GTA vice city, the new modern combat, Need for speed most wanted... It is barely compatible with anything in the google play store. Still has good games like NOVA 3... but would like to see it expand relatively soon...
Overall great battery life, great feel, smooth, fast... just hate that alot of game apps on google play arent compatible yet

Hands down the best phone I've ever had. It is everything that i expected and more. The screen is so crystal clear and the beats audio is great with my beat headphones. Its much bigger than my incredible 2 and this phone doesn't lag at all! Wish there was extra storage though. Very happy i got the Droid DNA!!!!

This would be a great phone if it offered a microSD slot or more than 11GB of usable internal storage! Still not sure why Verizon didn't pick up the HTC One... similar to this phone in most aspects except it doesn't have the flaws of this phone.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by HappyCustomer1771 Excellent Phone! I am very pleased!
I had the iphone 5 initially, and I was not satistifed. It felt as if I had to add an app before I could do anything. However, with the Droid DNA, it came equipped with everything that I needed. I am very happy that I took the iphone 5 back. It so much better than the iphone 5...honestly! The design of the phone is sleek, attractive, and well-made. I don't require a lot of storage space for my phone, so this makes the phone a perfect fit for me. It has just enough storage for my usage. My husband cannot keep his hands off my phone. He loves to use it to view videos, to play around with the features, etc. I have to always ask for my phone back from him or I catch him walking by as if he is tempted to touch it since he is not due for a new phone. When I asked him if he had a choice between the phones that are currently out, he undoubtedly stated the Droid DNA. I cannnot express how happy I am with my Droid DNA! This one is for keeps! You will not regret purchasing this phone.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by mtbr101 Fantastic phone with everything you could want
I received my first DNA a week ago and unfortunately it encountered a fatal software glitch within a day of use. That being said, my replacement and my wifes have been working flawlessly. Extremely easy to use and customize. The phone is very sleek and despite it being rather large it easily fits in our pockets. The screen is phenomenal as is the performance. We both went from first gen 4G phones to the DNA and couldn't be happier. I don't know what the people complaining about battery life are talking about, we both easily get a full day of use out of the phones. I can't remember the last time I have been able to go for more than 12-14 hours without having to charge a phone. Highly recommend the phone!

Traded my Droid M for this phone...and what a difference with all the features...The 5 inch screen is great, the 1080P shows up great as well...I do not have to put my spec's on to see..that is another plus...if you are shopping for this phone...GET IT... bottom line....you will not be disappointed.

This is by far the best smartphone out in terms of performance, and screen, the HTC Droid DNA,is just a near perfect phone, just using it you quickly forget about it's small battery and limited storage,no other display comes close to it,Samsung washed out almlod display is the reason i stay away,i work outside and i can see this screen in sunlight,at 5 inches it is perfect, for reading text, the radios are just as good as the rest of the phone,i truly love it no regrets buying it,cutting edge tech, that iphone users will have to wait to see.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by BostonFalcon The best Phone I have had
I have no idea why people crib about the battery life on this phone. For a normal day it is more than enough. I guess if you are a heavy gamer or video user it might be a problem. I have it at 60% when I head home in the evening. On a heavy use day about 45%. The screen is beautiful, the processor fast. Even though the phone is 5 inches, the design and narrow width, makes it easy to use. The polycarbonate body feels nice in your hands. I have it on Wifi when I am in the office or at home and it works fine with quick downloads. LTE where available is as good. I would certainly reccomend it if you are not a Apple junkie! I have had some issues with call quality a couple of times, but ZI am not sure if it is the phone or the network.

Takes great pics! Beautiful videos! Not sure why the charger port has a cover. The cover came off the phone the first week of use and now there is this black plastic piece just dangling from my phone. NOT a good look!

Thought this was a great phone next to S3 until I discovered its the only phone you have to manually turn setting on and off to use wi fi. Just a step backwards my droid X didnt have that problem. And whos idea was it not be able to add a card to increase memory. We going backward here.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by bnsmth The Best!
The DNA is great. Both my dad and my brother have iPhone 5's, and I prefer this over them (and so does my dad!). This phone has more features (widgets, etc), a better screen, a better processor, more ram, and Android 4.1.1 Jellybean with HTC Sense is actually quite intuitive. Call quality is pretty good, but most of my communication is via text message, so I don't really care either way. The camera is very good, especially with a little time fiddling with the settings, but my only complaint is the battery. With heavy usage, I can only expect it to last 6-8 hours. When it comes to build quality, it is the best out of the android market (other than the HTC One). Honestly, I would get this over the soon-to-come Galaxy S4 because this has superior build quality, and a much less glitchy operating system.

Wow... What a phone! This thing is fast, light, thin, and packed with features. Besides the obvious and often mentioned CPU, screen resolution, video, audio - speech recognition is great, personalization features are fairly extensive, and the phone is just easy to use. Battery life is actually pretty amazing for a phone this powerful and there are many options for maximizing battery life.
I'm still finding things it will do and being amazed. Yesterday I stumbled across the "print" function - it found our wireless printer in seconds and I was printing from my phone - e-mail, web pages, photos. Cool.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by TheAsianAppleGod NO COMPETITION. BEST PHONE. HANDS DOWN.
You looking for an AWESOME phone? Look no further.
NO this phone doesn't have SD Expansion. But that's OKAY. Don't worry about that.
It's got a quad core processor! FULL HD DISPLAY! I had ONE hick-up with lag. THAT'S IT. Battery Life was AMAZING. Off charger since 8:44am until 11:40pm, at an amazing 42% left!
**I was on wifi and was at work all day**
this varies by user.
GET THE WIRELESS CHARGER. I'm waiting for mine. This phone's display cannot be beat. It is THE BEST.
Want to give an awesome christmas gift? This DNA is THE best. Can't argue.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by GrandmaAmmy22 Love My HTC Droid DNA, Especially Screen Size!
This is my 2nd Droid phone, & I love it! My last phone was the HTC Incredible 2, which never gave me any problems, so I decided to stick with HTC when it was time to upgrade, & I'm glad I did. So far this phone has been problem free, so I hope it stays that way. I love the 5 inch screen, & the fast processor. I usually can get 2 days on a full charge, so I have no complaints about the battery. I'd say I'm a moderate user, mostly texting, calls, checking email, & Facebook.
My biggest complaint would be that although the on/off button has to be firmly pushed, the volume rocker pushes too easily!! It's right on the side near the top, large, & barely has to be touched to change the volume. Also when I try to read my email with the phone held vertically,& try to scroll, the words sway back & forth across the screen! This stops though when I turn it horizontally, so I can deal with it.
Overall this is a fantastic phone!! It comes with little tutorials to show you how to do some things, which I though was great! I love this phone & I have family members who would like to swipe it from me!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Tazishere Too Smart Of A Phone
I have built computers. I think I am fairly computer literate. This phone kicked my butt for several days. Maybe because I wasn't familiar with Android. Anyway, now to the review. I love this phone and the multitude of features. I love the speed of the processor. It makes my daily chores go fast. It is beautiful to look at both on and off. I love the Gorilla Glass to keep the phone scratch free and like new, even though it's been in my pocket collecting dust. The dust just wipes away and the phone is clean and new and shiny again.
I wish it had a user replaceable battery. This was on my list of disqualifacations until I fell in love with this phone.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by devdude 2 Huge Flaws
I am so disappointed in the battery performance and small storage capacity in this phone. I simply cannot recommend a phone with a lack of juice and storage when htc could have easily added twice the memory and 25-50% more battery life with such little effort. In it's current state, it requires that the owner worry about running out of space and not using the phone for fear of running out of battery life. This could have been a great device. Let's hope that HTC comes to their senses soon and gives this phone a needed hardware upgrade.

This device is incredible. The quad-core is blazin'. It makes my old Droid Charge seem like a turtle. If I had a down side to phone, it would be only 16GB of memory and no memory slot for adding. Also, Verizon could stop making deals with vendors like Zappos. I don't need that app and if I wanted it, I would download it myself.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by shaunypat A very powerful, elegant, and finely made product. Just do your homework first
Let's start with what this phone IS NOT. It is NOT a competitor to the Note 2, which does completely different things with it's S Pen. It is NOT an iPhone 5 competitor(the phone I sold on ebay to buy this device), as iOS and Android, at this point, are more like distant cousins than relatives. And it is NOT the dreaded "P" word: Phablet. It's 5 inch screen is beyond gorgeous, crystal clear, and should be applauded. I'll break down my pros and cons below:
Screen: Words cannot do this screen any justice. Go see it for yourself. It's on par or better with the retina on my iPhone 5. The difference is that HTC is putting on a BIGGER display(hint, hint, fruit company). It's simply divine
Sense 4+: I've personally liked Sense over the years, and this iteration doesn't other me at all. The only thing another skin has I'm jealous of is Touchwiz has a contact icon feature in messaging that allows you to use pics/etc. for messaging threads. sense is behind in some small ways, but the color sets and personalization overall is more "grown up" than other skins the way I see it
Battery: Ahh, here we go. Yes, it's not removable. Yes, it's only 2100 mah. Guess what? Haven't run out yet. If you're the kind of person who streams constantly, downloads netflix ad nauseum, and is on Kim Dot Com's 100 Best Friends list, you WILL NOT MAKE IT TO LUNCH. Don't get this. Or a Nexus 4. Or anything but a Note 2. Cuz that thing has a Car Battery hooked to it, and you still might not make it. With regular to even mildly heavy usage, I'm getting 12-14 hours. It's good enough. And no, I don't like the non-sd slot and non-removable battery decisions anymore than you do. Go look at the screen and you won't care.
NO SD SLOT: I can live without a battery removal, but no expandable memory? This is a bad decision. Now, bear in mind, I got all my music on and all my apps and selected the pics of my wife+kids I really adore and still have 5 GB to spare, but I would like to keep this for a year+. That may not be possible when you factor in new music purchases, new applications, pictures, etc. Just a bad decision.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by TheAmerican Great experience so far
The LTE is blazing where Im at. Moved from a droid x. The battery lasts a full day with moderate use, id say 2-3% of batt per 20 mins of heavy use. Lotta bloatware taking up memory. Build seems to be excellent so far, firm in your hand. It is on the larger end but two handing isnt too bad and googles voice texting is the best available. The screen is gorgeous, I personally have no problem with the brightness, camera is solid in daylight conditions. Wireless charging is sweet. If your an android fan and dont mind a larger screen, you will not be disappointed.

Let me start by saying I have had almost every Verizon phone to date. The iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2, Droid RAZR Mass Hd, HTC 8X, LG Spectrum 2, too name a few you get the point. The HTC droid DNA is in a class by its self. Awesome screen, beefy specs and the best cellular radio by far. I highly recommend this phone as you will not be disappointed. If it had a bigger battery it would be the perfect phone. I recommend using Juice Defender Ultimate this will give you more battery life about an hour or two.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Connor1234 Great phone, battery life only problem
The Droid DNA has really remarkable features. Its screen is 1080p, the equivalent of high definition, but its processor is so fast you rarely ever see performance blips. One thing: Battery life is not great if you aren't careful. If you turn off push notifications or get a battery saving app, then battery life is really great, but with everything on, it can only go about a full day with moderate-heavy use without a charge.
OS is great. Best platform I've ever used.
