Rated 5 out of 5Â by SASSiiNEA Best Phone EVER!!
I am a huge tech freak. I have had pretty much every smartphone that has released since 2009 on Verzion line up. I have had the Iphone 3g, Iphone 4, iPhone 4s, to the Motorala Razr Maxx, to the Samsung Galaxy S to the Blackberries. This is my HTC that i have ever owned or used. I was worried because my friends have had HTC's and they always had problems for them so i never bought one myself. Also none have really ever caught my eye, until this phone. The display on the 5 inch screen is amazing, the network is fast including the response time. This runs on the new Jelly Bean which is really nice by the way. The camera takes very nice crisp pictures and videos. They are not pixeled like some of the other phones that i have had. The battery last me all day from 6:30 am to about 11 pm with moderate use, and i do play games on mine. The memory is also not a problem for me all of my music is on amazon cloud player ecxept ringtons, and honestly that is the best way to go where you do not have to worry about removing a memory card. I do not have any problems with call quality, i hear the person in a very clear crisp sounds, as do they. The only thing i would say is because this being a newer phone and the pixels per inch is so large some apps have never updates to support the phone YET! This will change keep in mind this is a new phone with AWESOME specs top of the line and lets add the design on the phone is beautiful! This phone also fits in your hand like it belongs there. You will not go wrong with this phone.

Rated 4 out of 5 Great phone except for one thing!
The only thing wrong with this phone is what they did with the 3 hardware buttons at the bottom. They did away with the Menu button and replaced it with a Recent Apps button. Now the Menu button is an icon on the screen, so it takes up part of the screen that should be used for the applications. I have no idea why they would get rid of the menu button instead of the google search button. I use the menu button every day, and I NEVER use the google search button. That was a huge mistake and I hope they fix it with a future software update. They should at least make it an option so that you can choose which way you want to have it set up. If it wouldn't cost so much (restocking fee + I already bought a wireless charger) I would take this phone back and exchange it for something else. It is that aggravating. There's no point in buying a phone with a bigger screen if the extra size is taken up by a button that shouldn't be on the screen to begin with.

I love my phone! so easy to use and it takes great pictures. the only negative thing I can say is that "the phone doesn't vibrate and ring at the same time" which is something that i have always used on my other phones.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by MamaJan This product has SIM problems
Tried to give it a second chance but the SIM card problem started day #1, then it shuts down also at times, and the back key is never in the same place...it moves slightly and you have to tap around where it is to find where it will work.
Not happy with this phone at all.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by brendan1488 amazing phone.
This phone is everything you need for your mobile needs. My battery life (with brightness turned down most of the time, except in sunlight, with GPS, Bluetooth, and WiFi on constantly) has ranged from 8hours with heavy use of constant media to 24 hours with moderate use. The internet is lightning fast and the transitions between apps are smooth, fast, and flawless. I have had the phone since the day it came out and it has been outstanding from day one. I thought not having an accessible battery would be bad, but the phone works so effortlessly, that there is no need to do a battery pull. Music is amazing over Bluetooth or otherwise with beats, and videos stream without lag. Call quality is awesome(I actually had to turn the volume down) and the reception is crystal clear. Memory has not been an issue with streamlined cloud storage and it handles things well. Even with five different processes open, there is zero lag. The screen is amazing and makes reading a lot easier. It doesn't have a lot of the grainy texture on the text that you see with a lot of phones. Texting is a breeze. Even with my larger than average thumbs, it is like typing on a physical keyboard. Buy this phone. You will not be disappointed. (fyi: I do not use my phone as a storage device, so I have no info on the extent of its possibilities, but the actual formatted memory is around 11.5 gigs. I also do not use it in the same manner as a pc. I can pay all my bills and access banking and everything I need. This phone does not have flash, but thats better on a pc anyway.)

This phone is awesome. I'm a phone junkie and love to try the newest products. The battery has lasted me two days so far with moderate use. The only issue I have is the memory is limited to 16gb. I'm used to my phones having 16gb along with my 32gb sd card. So that will take getting used too. I downloaded dropbox and its a great application to store photos without using phone memory.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Turbocharged110 Extremely happy with this device...
I don't ever write reviews for products unless they really wow me or truly disappoint me. I have been using this phone for 2 weeks now and I must say...it has exceeded my expectations. HTC Sense is actually smooth and works great (whether or not you like the interface is personal preference and I don't mind it). Wireless charging is not a gimmick and is a very convenient feature that works great. The screen is beautiful. The phone does not feel nearly as big as the dimensions might lead you to believe it is
The battery life is a top topic and I have not had any issues with it in normal use. Take it off the dock at 7am, use it throughout the day (random emails, hour or so of internet browsing/playing games, 2-3 hours of audiobooks/music, etc etc) and I still have between 30% and 50% battery left when I put it back on the charger at 11pm. Only time I have drained the battery below 20% in under 8 hours was when it was on 90% of the time when I first got it and I was playing games/browsing the web. So, if you are on your phone CONSTANTLY (and I mean constantly), then you will probably have an issue with the battery life...but 99% of people are not, so they will not.
The camera is not bad...but is a bit hit or miss at times. If the lighting is good, then it takes amazing pictures. When the lighting is poor, then it the photos can get quite grainy due to the auto ISO (I'm assuming)..but not always. Also, it sometimes does not focus correctly on macro photos (goes through the focus you want...and stops focusing on a blurry image). Overall, I'm satisfied with the camera performance, but it could be a bit better.
The only major con that this phone has in my opinion is the lack of expandable storage. If they had put a micro SD slot on this phone then it would be that much better. Luckily, I don't require the extra storage because I don't care my full music library or any videos on my phone.
Overall, I love this phone and would recommend it to anyone who doesn't require over 11GB of actual storage space (or has extremely tiny hands).

Rated 5 out of 5Â by verizonuser14 AMAZING PHONE!
From going to the weak tiny little screen on the iPhone 4 S to this I am so impressed! The camera is amazing! It snaps pictures so quickly and they look so good! I play games all the time and I make it a day in a half on the battery. So it has amazing battery life as well. The display looks great, a lot better than the retina display on the iPhone and i mean A LOT better than the retina display! Love the screen size and the fact the phone is so thin and light. The speakers on the phone are great. Beats audio speakers baby!!!! lol So far I have no complaints about this phone. I just hope that my phone does not develop the blue dot everyone is talking about. Only shows up on the white screen. I also wish Verizon sold more cases for this phone. They only sell 1 color in the otterbox and it's black. I'm a chick, I want colors!

Regardless of what category you choose when rating this phone, it tops out in all of them. The clarity, resolution and brightness of the screen will knock your eyes out. Going from screen to screen OR app to app is quicker than my MacBook. The upgrades to the Android OS took an already superior OS and made it even easier to use and manipulate, and this is my third Android. It's looks are incredible, making iPhones look clunky, small and insufficient, since it's so slim and sleek and light for its size. Furthermore, I had this phone go head to head with a friend's new iPhone while visiting in Dallas and it kicked its butt on ALL accounts: speed (particularly on Google Maps/Navigation), clarity, ease of use. The gorilla glass screen is so slick that fingerprints or smudges simply do not adhere. The calendar is simple, easy to use and easily personalized. Although I do not personally use the phone for games, I have to say that I'm going to have to give them a try since the screen resolution is simply the best I've ever experienced. Hold it in your hand, turn it on, browse around a bit and you'll know that this is simply the state of the art phone for today.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Nick5891 Excellent Phone!
Considering the 1080 display, and the size, and the number of aps I run/video I watch; this phone has excellent battery life. I charge it, wirelessly, when I go to sleep and I never even get close to having a dead phone at anytime during the day. Video quality is excellent, as is the sound quality. I use the Microsoft Office suite on the phone rather constantly, and have never had a problem there either.
There is only one problem i have had, and I may take the phone in if it starts happening frequently: The phone will randomly say that there is no sim card installed. A restart of the phone has always corrected this, but even after reseating my sim card, this still does occur. I do not know if the problem is with the phone or the sim card, but it has been annoying on occasion.
Other than that one hiccup, this phone is everything its advertised to be and more!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by KeithMOn Fantastic Phone (battery-life issue is way over-blown)
If you're reading this than you probably already know about all the fun and exciting features that makes this phone great. Namely: full 1080p display, quad-core processor, NFC, fast camera, etc, etc.
I can attest that this phone really is amazing. The screen is like no other mobile display available. Seriously. Once you spend just a few days with this phone, all phones and tablets literally pale in comparison. I watch HD video with Netflix and the experience is not only passable but enjoyable. Of course, it's better with headphones but I don't experience lag or other issues. I can just as easily watch a feature-length movie or a TV episode. I have a 25 Mbps wifi connection at home and I've never had buffering or lag issues caused by internet speed.
The processor is fast. In fact, I have never experienced lag or any kind of issues with speed. The phone is the epitome of responsive. When you tell it to do something it just happens, quickly. On average it will download and install an app in 15 seconds.
The camera is great but the continuous burst mode is really handy for action shots. My 1 year old daughter is constantly moving and I get more action shots of her with this phone than I can with my mid-range point and shoot. The camera on this phone will take about 2 or 3 shots per second if you repeatedly click the capture button. The time-to-first-shot is also very quick at about 1 second (from sleep). After you've taken a picture the "Edit" feature provides many great options for adjusting the pic (and various filters that are quite nice).
The photo Gallery does other things you would expect like sort by albums and let you share. The share setting will list your most used sharing choices at the top and then provide the full list of sharing choices under those. This is a pretty simple feature but it's really handy if you like to share photos. It means you can click share and choose one of your top 4 most used sharing options very quickly (instead of scrolling down a long list).
Google+ integration is everywhere. I love it. You may not use G+ right now but if you get this, or any new Android based phone, you will. Google+ offers a more interactive and community-based experience than Facebook and it's baked into the phone. It's not obtrusive though, you can easily ignore it if you don't want to use it.
I haven't had any reason or excuse to use NFC so I can't speak to that, at all.
Ok, you probably got this far because you want to know about the battery. First, I can't just make a declaration that the battery-life is good or bad. Battery-life is tied to how much you use the phone and also how you use it. Battery life will be different for everyone. For me, the battery life does not pose any issues or disruptions. I charge it at night and it will last until I go to bed. I get a full days usage out of the phone without having to plug it in mid-day. Those are under normal usage situations. I'm not a power user but I use the phone all the time. By power user I mean that I don't play games, at all, and I don't watch too much video (though I do watch YouTube and a TV episode every once and a while). However, I am constantly social. I will browse, tweet, post and snap+share pictures all day. That's normal for me and the phone takes that in stride. Many days I will have only used half of the battery charge by the time I'm done for the day. However, more often than not, I will run the phone down to between 10 and 20% of battery life remaining. On very few occasions I will have to plug the phone in but that's always after I'm home and it's an easy thing to do (in a situation where the battery is almost dead and I still want to use it).
The standby time is amazing. When the phone is not being used it sips power. I woke up at 7:30am this morning and it's currently 2:30pm. My battery is still at 77% charge after 7 hours. I've watched some YouTube videos, browsed and posted on social sites and read a number of articles.
There are some activities that drain the battery much more quickly than others. For example, camera and GPS. When I'm at a family event and using my phone to capture every moment, I will almost assuredly have to charge the phone mid-day.
I hope this has helped. I don't have any complaints and I really do love the HTC Droid DNA.

This phone is amazing. Wow people with the crisp full 1080p High Definition 5 inch screen. This phone is lightning fast. I've had the phone for 3 weeks and the battery has held up well all the way to the end of each day with moderate to heavy use I'm normally at 20-40% battery life by the time I go to bed. To put it simply, you will not regret getting this phone.

Massive 5" 1080p display, quad core processor, 2mb ram. I got to tell you. It bothered me a little knowing it had a small 2020mah battery but after one day of use, the DNA shut me up! The phone lasted almost two whole days! I was amazed that even though I used it throughout the day and night on how long it lasted! This is with bluetooth on, texting and camera use.

reading all the reviews on here i thought this ohine was goin to be amazing. then i get it and ive had it for 1 WEEK . not only did i have a hard time finding a case for it, but now the phone is acting up. it randomly loses signal i have to completely restart the phone numerous times. and to top it off i pulled the phone off charge at 730 am its now 930 am and ive used 30% of battery while hardly even using the phone at all. so far im very unsatisfied with this phone. DO NOT GET IT OR YOU TOO WILL BE IRRITATED.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by PackersFan801 Great Features, Battery life a deal breaker
LOVE the phone and im sad to see it go, but im exchanging it tomorrow for the Note 2. Battery life is the SOLE reason for this. Too bad, I really really wanted to keep this phone but I dumped my droid charge for battery life issues so it seems silly to keep this phone when its giving me the same issues. My wife got the DNA also and is going to return it as well.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by lolobossa Fast, good looking, and a realtively smooth transition from Iphone
The particular phone I have has some kinks which will require me to replace it due to connectivity issues. However, the features are solid, the phone is blasing fast, and the abundance of apps makes me never want to put it down. Battery life could be better, but its managable. That and no SD memory capability is tough to deal with.

I am looking 9 hours of run time without charging out of 24. And I have done everything with this phone and I still have 50% battery left. I love this phone. I would recommend this phone to anyone looking to purchase a phone. 45 minutes of gaming, 1 hour of web browsing, have texted 5 people. Call quality and reception has been excellent. I can not say enough about the greatness of the screen and processing power, second to none. All I can say if there really is a better phone out there, go get it but I have not seen it.

Speed vs battery life. Speed wins but would rather have a fast responsive device. Camera could use more work but is 100% better than the Motorola's. Sense options on 4.0 are limited and need to add more options to the launcher. Icon size, More skins and themes and dock options. Original Facebook widget is missing. But for the price, speed, and options this phone beats my previous Samsung G3.

This phone is a pretty quick and powerful device. I recommend it for those who are comfortable with androids and want something better than an iphone 5. The drawback is the potential threat of damaging the screen (it is almost a 5" touch screen.)

After reading many reviews on this phone I was unsure about choosing it. (I had the GS3 but it overheated.) I am glad I chose this phone it is amazing! The quad core processor combined with 2 GB of RAM and of course the LCD 3 screen give you the true Android experience. I am not a big fan of sense but it actually works. I also have an iPhone 5 and now it is sitting in my nightstand! Working in the mobile industry, I recommend this to all my clients!

Rated 3 out of 5Â by TheBonVoyage Battery is SHAMEFUL
The technology is available to use MUCH higher batter capacity without adding much bulk to the phone, but for some reason HTC thinks it's ok to use OLD technology and include only a 2020 mAh battery. Motorola, for almost the same price offers 2700 mAh and 3300 mAh batteries to give you much longer battery life. There is NO excuse for HTC to use such a small battery that I GUARANTEE will cause you to pull your hair out. You will regret this purchase. I promise.
