INNOVATION BRANCH

The company's Innovation Branch has recently moved from HTC America's Bellevue, WA headquarters into new offices in downtown Seattle. This group of designers, device architects, and software engineers reports to the company's Chief Innovation Officer. The charter? To deliver devices and software experiences which delight users and continuously improve quality, brand loyalty, and business growth for HTC and its partners.

PROGRAM MANAGER

Your role will be to help drive end-to-end design, execution, and delivery to market of innovative mobile phone software and services. This will demand "game-changing" creativity, strong technical design ability, and a passion for delivering products which generate loyal customers. Our teams also influence the direction of hardware and software platforms, helping define what goes into new mobile devices given latest trends, directions, and available features. If you are passionately customer oriented and have a love for pushing a platform to its limits, there is really no other group to work in.

The successful candidate will have:

	A minimum of 3-5 years of industry Program Manager experience
	Must have completed at least 1 full commercial software product cycle as a PM
	Strong ability to design, document, and communicate complex software systems
	Ability to work with and manage teams internationally (some evening work and travel are required)
	Strong negotiation and communication skills
	Strong knowledge of both waterfall and agile development methodologies
	A background working on limited resource platforms and/or embedded devices
	Knowledge and experience developing on Windows Mobile and/or Android operating systems is a plus
	Experience with V1 projects is beneficial
	Experience delivering consumer devices is desired
	Past collaborations with UE/UX designers is beneficial
	A background working on cloud services platforms is beneficial
	BA/BS or MS in Computer Science, or an equivalent educational experience

Above all, candidates must be a creative, collaborative software designer who is passionate about products and customers.
