Starting in November 2013, the update to ROM version 3.06.605.4 is available. With this update, there are some significant changes to the user experience. Use the guide below to understand the new changes:
At a Glance Features
After updating the device, an HTC BlinkFeed notification will appear in the notification bar. Tap on the notification to enable BlinkFeed.
After enabling the BlinkFeed home screen style, the leftmost panel will display the BlinkFeed home screen reader. Tap the blue Get Started boxes to set up the desired content sources.
Note: Enabling the BlinkFeed home screen style will reset the home screen shortcuts to the default set. The original home screen style is still saved on the device. To turn off BlinkFeed and revert back to the original home screen style.
The new lock screen no longer uses the lock ring to unlock the device. Now, there are three options available:

The Notification bar has been updated to give user quick access to many of the most popular settings. There are now two gestures you can use on the notification bar:
The camera interface has been updated with a cleaner and easier to use interface. The same great features such as continuous shooting and VideoPic are still featured on the device.
A new camera update allows you to lock the camera focus on a specific target within the viewfinder. To perform this focus lock, press and hold on the desired target until Auto Exposure/AutoFocus locked is displayed on the screen.
The new recent apps list shows thumbnails for the 9 most recently accessed apps. Simply tap the desired app to return to it or swipe up on the thumbnail to close it.
The Gallery interface has been updated with an improved Events view featuring automatically created Video Highlights.
Within the Video Highlight, choose from an assortment of pre-configured themes with choreographed music and image transitions.
A new notification is available that shows the specific battery percentage. To enable this notification, go to Settings > Power, and then check Show battery level.
Daydream is a new interactive screensaver mode developed for Google Android devices. To enable Daydream, go to: Settings > Display, gestures & buttons and then select Daydream.
Note: Additional Daydream screensavers are available from third party developers.
