After the WM 6.1 update for the AT&T Tilt, the backlight timer will automatically revert to the default time out of 10 seconds regardless of any custom settings designated by the user. This HotFix will correct this issue and prevent the custom backlight time out setting from reverting to 10 seconds. Note: If a Hard Reset is performed on the device, this HotFix will need to be reinstalled on the device.
Installation Instructions:
- Download the AT&T Tilt WM 6.1 Backlight HotFix to your PC.
- Connect your AT&T Tilt to your PC via Activesync/Windows Mobile Device Center.
- Copy the AT&T Tilt WM 6.1 Backlight HotFix file to your device using Explore (Activesync) or Manage Device>File Explorer (Windows Mobile Device Center).
- Navigate to the AT&T Tilt WM 6.1 Backlight HotFix file on your device and tap on it to install.
- Follow any onscreen instructions
