There are 2 ways on how to make MP3 as an alarm sound:
1. To set your own music file as alarm sound, please use the micro USB cable to connect the tablet to a USB port on your computer. Choose Disk drive as the connection type. This will allow you to access the microSD card on your tablet from the computer and be able to copy music onto the microSD card.
Please open the new removable disk on your computer; create a folder on the root folder of the microSD card and name it alarms, copy your desired MP3 files to this folder. Any song or MP3 file that you put on the ringtones folder will be added on to the list of available alarms on the tablet.
After you have finished copying, turn off USB storage by pressing MENU from the Home screen > Notifications, select the ongoing Connect to PC status and tap Charge only.
The Alarm clock will automatically search this folder for personalized alarm tones and when you create an alarm or a calendar entry, the MP3 file will be on the list of available alarms.
2. You can select an MP3 to be your alarm sound directly if you have MP3 file on your Music folder. From the Home screen, please press All apps > Clock then scroll to the right for Set an alarm > Alarm sound > Music then tap on selected MP3 and tap Ok.
NOTE 1: During this time, you can’t access the SD card from your tablet, so you can’t use applications that rely on the SD card such as Camera, Gallery, or Music.
NOTE 2: The MP3s that you put under the alarms folder will not be seen under the music player application.
