    Yes you can change the application shortcuts on your lock screen. To change the shortcuts, from the Home screen, please press MENU > Settings > Personalize > Lock screen then tap shortcut to change for the list to come up and tap a new application shortcut, then tap Done.

    How can I use a different language input?
    To use a different language input, from the Home screen please press All apps > Settings > Language and keyboard > Touch Input > International keyboard then choose your preferred language

    You can use "keyboard" as a keyword in searching on the Android Market to look for an application to help you use a different language input if the language you are looking for is not on the default list.

    How do I set MP3 as an alarm sound?
    There are 2 ways on how to make MP3 as an alarm sound:

    1. To set your own music file as alarm sound, please use the micro USB cable to connect the tablet to a USB port on your computer. Choose Disk drive as the connection type. This will allow you to access the microSD card on your tablet from the computer and be able to copy music onto the microSD card.

    Please open the new removable disk on your computer; create a folder on the root folder of the microSD card and name it alarms, copy your desired MP3 files to this folder. Any song or MP3 file that you put on the ringtones folder will be added on to the list of available alarms on the tablet.

    After you have finished copying, turn off USB storage by pressing MENU from the Home screen > Notifications, select the ongoing Connect to PC status and tap Charge only.

    The Alarm clock will automatically search this folder for personalized alarm tones and when you create an alarm or a calendar entry, the MP3 file will be on the list of available alarms.

    2. You can select an MP3 to be your alarm sound directly if you have MP3 file on your Music folder. From the Home screen, please press All apps > Clock then scroll to the right for Set an alarm > Alarm sound > Music then tap on selected MP3 and tap Ok.

    NOTE 1: During this time, you can’t access the SD card from your tablet, so you can’t use applications that rely on the SD card such as Camera, Gallery, or Music.

    NOTE 2: The MP3s that you put under the alarms folder will not be seen under the music player application.

    How do I change my tablet's name?
    The tablet name identifies your tablet to other devices. To change the your tablet's name, please press Menu from the home screen > Settings > Wireless & networks > Bluetooth settings > Device name then you can enter the name you want to use.

    NOTE 1: Make sure that Bluetooth is turned ON in order for you to change any setting including the device name.

    How do I set MP3 as notification sound?

    What is Wi-Fi tethering?
    Wi-Fi tethering is sharing your internet with other Wi-Fi capable devices. The tablet will act as a wireless router that will broadcast a wireless network which can be picked up by Wi-Fi enabled devices. The tablet will use its data connection (3G/GPRS) for this function. Please be advised that your mobile operator may charge extra for data services.

    To share your internet to a Wi-Fi capable device please make sure that your data connection is turned on. From the Home screen, press MENU > Settings > Wireless & networks tick Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot. You can change the network name and secure the connection by tapping Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot settings. After configuring the settings, the tablet will start broadcasting its Wi-Fi network name and you can connect up to 8 devices. To stop sharing the internet connection, please untick Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot.

    NOTE 1: A mobile internet connection (GPRS/3G) is required to access this service. Your operator may charge for using GPRS/3G.

    How can I share my internet with a compatible device?
    There are two ways you can share your internet to a compatible device; either through USB or you can use the tablet as a portable wireless hotspot. Please make sure that you have an active mobile data connection on the tablet in order to use these functions.

    To share your internet to a computer via USB, please connect the tablet to a computer using the supplied USB cable and make sure that your data connection is turned on. From the Home screen, please press MENU > Settings > Wireless & networks and please tick USB Tethering. The tablet will start sharing the internet connection to the computer. To stop sharing the internet connection, please untick USB Tethering or simply disconnect the tablet from the computer.

    To share your internet to a Wi-Fi capable device please make sure that your data connection is turned on. From the Home screen, please press MENU > Settings > Wireless & networks then tick Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot. You can change the network name and secure the connection by tapping Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot settings then after configuring the settings, the tablet will start broadcasting its Wi-Fi network name and you can connect up to 8 devices.     To setup a VPN connection, please press on MENU from the Home screen > Settings > Wireless & networks > VPN settings > Add VPN and select a type of VPN you want to create then input the VPN Settings then press MENU > Save when you are finished.     Internet pass-through or USB tethering lets you share your computer's internet connection to your tablet. To share your computer's internet with your tablet, please connect the tablet to the computer via USB cable then drag the status bar down from the top of the screen. Choose Internet pass-through as the connection type. The tablet will now be able to access the internet through the computer's connection.

    Your tablet is setup by default to automatically sync with your Google account, if you have set one up already. To setup a Google account, please press MENU from the Home screen > Settings > Accounts & sync > Add Account > Google > Next and follow the onscreen instructions to enter the account information.

    If you don't want to synchronize automatically, press MENU from the Home screen > Settings > Accounts & sync and then uncheck Background data and Auto-sync.

    How do I use GPS on my tablet?
    In order for you to use GPS on your tablet in applications such as Footprints and Google Maps, please first turn on GPS. Please press MENU from the home screen > Settings > Location, and check the Use GPS satellites box.

    If you are having trouble connecting to a GPS satellite, try the following to see if this helps.

    1. Make sure that Use wireless networks is checked in the settings menu located at MENU from the home screen > Settings > Location then check Use wireless networks box. 2. Make sure you have a clear unobstructed view of the sky. Things such as ceilings, roofs, and weather may affect GPS performance. 3. To achieve the best performance, try to place yourself in an area for there is a 360 degree view of the sky. Tall buildings and walls may slightly affect GPS performance.

    Yes, the tablet supports sending multiple photos through Bluetooth. Please select a paired device or Scan for devices that your device will start to scan for Bluetooth devices within range paired, your tablet will start transfer the photo to the other device.

    Can I sync my hotmail contacts to my tablet?
    The tablet only supports synchronizing with a Gmail account and you need to export your hotmail contacts to your Gmail account first and then sync the tablet with your Gmail account. You may search for instructions on how you can export your contacts from your hotmail account and how to import the contacts to your Gmail account. You may also search for software that enables you to export your hotmail contacts to the tablet automatically in Android Market. To search Android Market, please press All apps on the Home screen > Market. Search for the keyword transfer hotmail contacts and it will give the relevant results.

    How do I adjust the time before my tablet go to sleep mode?
    After a period of inactivity, the tablet screen turns off to conserve battery power. You can set the idle time before the screen turns off. Please press MENU from the Home screen > Settings > Display > Screen Timeout. From here you can select the length of time (15 Seconds, 30 Seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, 10 minutes or Never turn off) before the screen goes to sleep mode.

Your tablet should search for available devices in range and it will show the list on your screen. Tap the device name of the headset you will be pairing with and it should try to connect.     Where can I check the file that was transferred to my tablet using Bluetooth?
    To check a file transferred via Bluetooth to your tablet, first you need to create a folder shortcut on your home screen.

    There are 3 ways to create a folder shortcut on your tablet:

    1. From home screen please press All apps > Settings > Personalize then on the category "Add items to Home" tap Folder > Bluetooth received

    2.
    From the Home screen, please press Personalize and on the category "Add items to Home" tap Folder > Bluetooth received

    3.
    While in the Home screen, tap and hold on an empty space for about 2 seconds, the Personalize page comes up and on the category "Add items to Home" tap Folder > Bluetooth received
