I moved from an iphone 5 to the HTC One and after a few days I'm already considering staying with HTC! The phone is just unbelievably good, every feature I feel has been designed with the customer always in mind, no pointless eye scrolling features or water resistant flaps... Just pure useful hardware and software with max specs packed into a gorgeous looking device. I really hope HTC are rewarded with the credit and profits they deserve!

I have been using this phone for a couple of weeks now and the minute you handle it you will be impressed. This is a high quality phone with fantastic features.
The screen is impressive and very responsive. I have used HTC phones since 2010 and have always been happy, but this phone is on another level. Get it, you won't be disappointed.

Htc has managed to build a phone that is simply better than the competition. Its currently the best phone you can buy. I congratulate htc on a job well done and hope that they will stand tall above the competition this year. From recent reviews from tech sites it certainly looks like the company is heading that way. It's the best android phone I've ever used.

This is a totally amazing phone i have had several HTC phones and this is the best. I have just had a software update and it is even better now, i had an issue with trying to connect to my Netgear 5GHZ AC wifi router but now it connects since the software update at a speed of 433mbps mind blowing. Keep up the good work HTC and leave Apple in your wake.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by RGhew18 samsung who!. This is the number ONE phone
Well what could you say about a phone that looks this good! Well that would be it must perform as good as it looks and it certainly does that with ease an style an without trying. Having used iPhones an coming from the galaxy s3 to the HTC one you realise how far Samsung is behind in delivering a well built an stylish phone.
The HTC one feels like nothing Iv had before in a phone in looks an performance an delivers on both perfectly it's everything you want in a phone as premium as this.
It is feature packed and does not disappoint the camera work great capturing real solid pictures the zoe feature it very fun to use an gives you total control of what you take an film on the HTC one.
The duel stereo front speakers are fantastic an truly impress with music 'movies an audiobooks they should be on all phones (take note apple an Samsung).
The internet on the one is very fast indeed as intact the whole phone is an multitasks with ease the screen is also pin sharp with great colour effect movies an pictures look awesome but what has impressed me more than most on the HTC one is the battery life an coming from an s3 anything would be an improvement but it is truely
Good I charged the phone for 12 hrs solid with it turned off an then went to work with it fully charged with moderate to fair usage of texting and phone calls internet an music an movies after 12hrs I still had over 70% charge on the phone I don't think anyone could ask for more from a phone with a battery like this phone does.
In all this is a truly fantastic phone well done htc for making what smasung can't a phone that delivers it all in one smartphone anyone who reads this review an is thinking of buying a HTC one should do it it will make you think about how phones should be made.

I got this phone on Tuesday. I upgraded from the HTC sensation XL and although that phone is great, this phone is AMAZING. The sound on it is incredible, I listen to a lot of music - have 166 songs on it already! It is loud and clear.
The camera is fab. Although only being 4 megapixels the quality is awesome, very clear photo's. When you zoom the photo isn't blurry. And with Zoe, you can capture that perfect moment, it really is fantastic.
Personally, I think the battery life is excellent. Compared to every other phone I have had it lasts A LOT longer, and I use my phone all day. Lasted 13 hours for me yesterday with 32% still left.
This phone really is the one. It is most definitely the BEST phone out there at the moment. Beats the iPhone by a mile.
Well done HTC, you've done it again!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Chunkyspudface Forget other phones exist!
I was deciding between this an several other phones (GS4, Nexus 4, HTC One X+) and I have to say, I regret nothing! I got this phone and haven't looked back, the 1080p SLCD3 screen really is the best on any mobile device and is easier to use one handed than I expected. The sound quality is above the competition with rich, loud sound booming out of the two speakers. The camera software is astounding with loads of options for tweaking and the pictures/videos are great quality too! The performance is the best I have ever used (and I've used a lot of devices) but this Is great, I have been using it for a while and have never seen ONE stutter, slow-down or trace of lag anywhere. The battery performance is great considering the bright 1080p screen and ultra fast processor, lasting a day of listening to music and taking pictures with around 50% left in the evening. It is also, without a doubt, the best build phone out there, the metal body feels great in the hand, putting to shame all those glossy, thin plastic phones like the galaxy range. You really feel that you got a high end device. My advice? Get this phone and forget about the iphone and galaxy s4, the one is in a different league!

As soon as I got the phone in my hands I new it was something special, my phone choices where 5,4 and one, it wasn't really a hard choice, 5 was old and iOS so dated, 4 was plasticky and felt really poor in the hand, and one, well so much so so much was going in favour of the one, the excellent camera and the lovely Zoe, te operating system polished so well with sense, the screen that jumps out at you, never did sound get represented so well from a phone,if I wasn't such busy man I could go on and on, but I am so I can't, gladly though this phone has made my work and social life come together seamlessly giving me the time to write this :-)

As an iPhone user for many years, I converted to HTC because of this phone. It is simply said 'quality' the best phone I've ever had.
My only gripe is that the volume you don't have enough control. I wish they would update this soon, other than that it will take a lot to beat this phone.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by ZINATEEN55 New HTC versus the older model
My previous handset was a HTC One S, previous to that a HTC Desire S. Both were comfortable to live with, and the new handset was to be an evolution of that theme. Style, build quality and functions are all top notch. The camera features are excellent, in particular the ability to apply slow motion to a critical section of a video recording whilst leaving the rest at normal speed. Clever, very clever. Battery life seems good, audio clear and rich, and no problems with connectivity. Overall it's an extremely attractive + capable performer. My only criticism is HTC hub is no longer provided with the handset, and the Blink feed feature is not to everyones liking, and needs to be removable to support personal taste. I would prefer the home panels to carousel as they did in Sense 4, but thats just me. That said its an excellent handset choice which I would not hesitate to recommend. Well done HTC.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by TechnoGenius Best Smartphone ever made!
Where does ONE start? The premium build quality, feel and design are nothing short of spectacular! You cannot take your eyes off it. The day I took it to work, the amount of heads that were turned I think set some kind of record. The HTC One, is the most well balanced phone that is out there right now. It's super quick, smooth, no lag, great screen, sharp with accurate well saturated colours. HD video pops on this screen, it is that good.
Sense 5 I wasn't sure about in the beginning but my doubts soon cleared, as it's really good indeed. Blinkfeed is a welcome addition and non intrusive as you can keep it as the homescreen or set another screen as the homescreen so blinkfeed is just a swipe away. It blends news, sports, tech headlines/articles with local info, from your phone, and it's so nice. Facebook statuses right there on the feed.
I thought Boom sound would be something of a gimmick, but again, I was proved wrong, the sound from the external speakers is better than from any phone that I have heard. Really is clear, well defined and loud! Same with the audio quality through headphones.
The mic on this phone is absolutely stunning! it picks up sound so well. Would be perfect now at concerts, can't wait to try it out. If you dont believe me, look through youtube for recording examples, mind blowing quality! depth, richness and detail in the sound.
Been using the camera around and it's fantastic. it may be only 4 mega pixels, but it doesn't matter, the picture quality, especially in low light is excellent.
Phone call quality and reception is very good too, and clear sound from the speakers when on hands free mode. Really did surprise me how good it sounds.
32 GB of onboard storage is very generous considering most vendors will give you 16gb with even less of actual usable space. But no such problems here. Plenty of storage plus 25gb of Dropbox cloud storage is a welcome addition.
I cannot praise this phone enough. HTC have created a masterpiece. Once you get it in your hand, you will not care about the competition, they all pale in comparison. Buy it, you will not look back! Stunning comeback from the guys and girls at HTC. Congrats!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by mechanimal82 The #HTCOne is THE phone of 2013
“Inspirational, conceptual, beautiful. The #HTCOne is THE phone of 2013
HTC really have done a superb job with this phone, I have been running the silver variant for 2 months now and have to say this is one of the finest phones I have used to date. Not only in design, but the Sense UI has been trimmed to give a more fluid feel and less power hungry which shows in the battery usage.
So let’s start with the design; Overall from the front it looks like a sandwich of clear black in between the two silver speaker grills. And while the actual digital screen isn’t edge to edge I quite like having that 5mm black edge framing the visible screen. The top speaker grill also houses the 2.1MP front facing camera and the ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and within the left side of the actual speaker grill is where you’ll find the LED (although you won’t know this until you get a notification or put it on charge). Round the side you’ll find the volume rocker which is an almost flush ridged flat metal bar which works to keep the sleekness of the phone whilst still having that tactile feel so you can find it without looking. On the bottom is the USB port and pinhole for the mic while the top just has the headphones jack and power button. Again, the power button is made flush to the phone, so it can be slightly tricky to find/press, and I can imagine might be tricky if you have larger fingers. The other thing with the power button is it’s clear black, why is this? Well it’s also an IR blaster, this is used to transmit Infra-Red signals to a TV, Sky Box, Hi-Fi etc as the phone can also act as your remote control. On the back is where you’ll find the much talked about Ultra-Pixel camera and accompanying flash, as well as another pinhole for the rear facing mic for use when capturing video’s (in full 1080p HD).
The phone in it’s entirety is surprisingly slim, and another surprise is the weight. 143g, which is just the right weight in my opinion. Not too heavy, but not light enough that you don’t know you have it. It’s a sleek design and the back is set on a slight convex so that it sits nicely in the palm and just feels natural to hold. The only downside to this is when you are lying the phone on a flat surface such as a table and typing a text or using the phone as it makes a slight wobble. The finish overall is of a high quality which would be expected of a flagship device from HTC, as with all HTC devices I’ve used I’ve found their build quality to be unsurpassable.
So on to the bread and butter, usage and UI; The first thing you’ll notice once you’ve booted the phone up and gone through the standard setup process is the responsiveness of the phone. Sometimes I’m wondering if I even pressed the screen at times as I’ve gone to press an icon or shortcut and it’s opened before I’ve felt anything. It’s just so quick to respond to every gesture and press which is a far cry from anything I’ve used before… even AOSP/AOKP. You’ll also start to grasp how much the Sense UI has been trimmed down. This time you have a maximum of 5 panes to add widgets/shortcuts to and these are aligned in a row with Blinkfeed (HTC’s update to Friend Stream) taking the first pane, so really just 4 left to play about with. This time HTC have decided not to add loads of random widgets that you may or may not want to various panels, you just get Blinkfeed and the standard clock…. It’s now up to you to customise which in my opinion is better as I hated having to remove loads of widgets I didn’t want or use.
This time the app drawer is made to feel like an access panel rather than an additional window to be opened and closed. So rather than the button to open, and back button taking you out and back to the home screen. You just use the menu to open, and then menu again to reduce. This can be a little confusing to start with, but you get used to not being able to use the back button to close it and it does start to feel like a better way of operating.
All in all, Sense has had quite a revamp. So if you’ve used previous iterations of this skin it will certainly feel different, but in a good way! It’s cleaner, more polished and HTC have taken out a lot of the unneeded widgets, stock apps etc that just added to the drain on processor and battery. To me it’s starting to get to be more like pure android with some additional enhancements, whereas before it was a complete overlay which didn’t allow you to truly appreciate the Android OS for what it is.
So what else is new? Well, HTC have added an IR Blaster into the power button. So by using the TV app pre-installed on the phone you can run a setup process to determine your, country, channels and hardware setup. Once done you can easily open the TV app, see recommended programs or all programs, press the image of the program you want to watch and it will select the channel for you. No more fighting over the remote! With the Sense TV app you can add remotes by room, so for example you could have a setup for your living room, and another for the bedroom etc. The only thing missing is I would have liked another app to be on the phone to allow you to just use the remote feature by itself. For example I have a wireless speaker which I take on holiday or outside if we’re in the garden etc and I would like to have an app which could download or learn the remote codes for this without having to worry about the TV channels etc.
Have I mentioned the dual facing front speakers? This really is an impressive move. Stereo sound with a dedicated amplifier and Beats by Dre… all in a phone! It really does make a difference, and trust me you’ll know when you get a message or your alarm goes off for the first time in the morning, you may want to turn the volumes down a little. And I never thought I’d hear myself saying that about a phone speaker. Playing music through it is just a joy, no tinny poor quality sound. And if you put the volume on max, the bass doesn’t distort or feel un-natural. You really do need to hear it to believe it!
Blinkfeed – In a slightly controversial move HTC have made Blinkfeed a static non-removable home screen panel taking up the first of the 5 available to you. So what is it? Blinkfeed is like a mesh of tweets, Facebook status updates/wall posts, information such as news, reviews etc from various online sources as well as upcoming calendar appointments or TV shows (if you have the TV app configured). The aim is to provide a hub for the activity which it feels would be of interest to you all on one screen. I’m not a huge fan of seeing everything my Facebook friends are doing, so I’ve set mine to just show my calendar entries and TV recommendations. But I can see this would be good for people who do like to keep on top of it all.
Why no megapixels? If you haven’t already understood ultrapixels then there are some great guides as to the benefits of ultrapixels over megapixels on the HTC blog. But in essence, megapixels are great if supersizing your pictures to put on a billboard or a very large screen. But for daily usage ultrapixels offer a better clarity and image processing. This leads to far clearer images and pictures I’ve taken on my phone are in such high quality, I’ve actually converted from using my Canon compact to just using the phone now as the images are actually better. The colours and clarity offered is amazing to see, especially on the HD screen you get with the One. Just another feature I urge anyone to see for themselves as you won’t get the full experience until you actually try it. One great feature, and one I use a lot is the movie highlight feature which using some clever algorithms creates a short film of an event in your gallery and combines stills & moving images to create a kind of trailer for your event. Everyone I have shown this to is massively impressed, and it’s yet another feature I’d suggest looking at for yourself to really see how good this is.
Overall there are many other features and technical detail I haven’t gone into, but I’ve tried to cover off the parts which I think most people will relate to or use regularly. I can’t emphasise enough how good this phone really is. If you are due an upgrade a would urge that you seriously consider the HTC One as your next phone as it is a fantastic all-round device which offers something for everyone.

Its a super computer in your hand. Camera and its software is mind boggling. Sound is great. Screen quality and build is excellante! Battery life is great. But having some problem with the network. So what that cuts down the 2 stars..
My friend on the same network sitting next to me gets full network on her mobile but unfortunately I don't which is a shame. I really love this phone but why this? I was told by my network operator (Orange) that the network is great at my place but still I do not have range/signal on my phone.
Unfortunately I don't see this issue/problem in any of the forums or blogs anywhere and I am not sure where I can get the answers from.
HTC please help me sort this out. I am actually a big fan of HTC.

I bought the HTC One 3 weeks ago and it has been nothing but brilliant. The Ultrapixel Camera (though I do wish it was at 8MP rather than 4MP) was absolutely brilliant in low light. Bring in HTC Zoe it just makes it all quite cool! BoomSound (and front facing speakers) was mind-blowing. It's so loud I use only half the volume and add the clarity of Beats Audio, it just works so well. The build quality and screen is something that you only understand its impressiveness when it's in your hand; beautiful at every point and angle. And finally it's definitely got some decent battery life, lasts a day without any problem (unless it's hardcore usage obviously). Finally a well made Android smartphone.

Bought the HTC One after having a Samsung Galaxy S2 previously which I liked. The HTC One is a stunning phone jam packed full of features and the build quality is excellent. The battery life seems good aswell bearing in mind the technology in the phone. Sound quality is the best I've heard on a mobile and that is no exaggeration. My only issue is the lack of expandable memory and although the aluminum back looks and feels quality it will also scratch easily if not looked after so I've bought a cover to keep it as new. This is my first HTC phone and all good so far.

Camera is amazing compared to my previous Galaxy S2 and photos look so much clearer than any other phone, especially iPhone's.
The sound is better than all other phones but is just as loud possibly a little louder with some songs.
Screen is... WOW! its amazing!
Easy to use! slightly confusing at first with blink feed and vertical scrolling but you adapt quickly.
Battery is better than my S2 but lasts just as long as most other phones, this might be because i use mobile data often, but i expect a phone to last most of the day which it does.
Looks AMAZING! feels AMAZING!
It is honestly the best phone out currently, i would recommend it to anyone, its so sleek, stylish and cool.
Also Zoe which sounds pointless is actually very good! allows for editing which isn't possible if you take a normal photo! JUST BUY ONE AND FIND OUT FOR YOURSELVES!
Switched from Samsung to HTC and it has been the best decision ive made regarding phones so far.
