Rated 4 out of 5Â by HenryH Awesome phone.
I have only had the phone a few days. So my impressions are all initial.
The phone is great. Battery life seems to be good which is very important because the battery isn't removable. The display is great. The phone looks and feels solid.
Just upgraded to the HTC One. Love the phone so far.
Two things that would have really made this phone shine would have been; the ability to customize button function and a removable SDCard slot. Other than this I can find nothing wrong with this phone. .

You get this phone, you root it and you have the best device around!! blinkfeed is good but you need to provide to users the ability to add our own feeds and sources.

Well 1st off its a great great phone, How ever i returned it after 10 days and went back to the iphone5. i liked the features of the iphone where when in contacts you can pick the Letter of the Alph(name) and it jumps right to the letters u want. HTC one you couldnt do that. also the ZOOM in on pictures was not good at all. On the iphone5 you can zoom in to a Spec in the picture just like on the s4, maybe its because of the 4 mega pix camera witch was a bad idea. i did want to keep it but didnt feel like it was time to waste my upgrade when they can just make some small changes to better it. they should have just did a 13 mega pix with low lite tech.

Amazing phone that deserves all of the great reviews that it is getting. This is my first flagship phone, (My other phones have either been feature phones or knockoffs; my last phone was a Samsung Captivate Glide, a knockoff of the Galaxy S2.) and I love it. This is the first phone that makes me feel like I want to keep it for more than two years.

The greatest phone I have ever had my hands on. Blows my last phone, the Galaxy II, out of the water. It has the look, feel, and sound of a high class phone. Only things I didn't like was Blinkfeed isn't fully customizable and HTC's shortcuts are more difficult than Samsungs in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by BagPhoneCool Best phone I've owned!
I've owned cell phones since 1993 (started with a Motorola bag phone:), and can say that this phone meets all of my expectations! First time I've "pre-ordered" a phone, and was hoping I wouldn't be disappointed. I'm upgrading from the HTC Vivid - good phone, but heavy as a brick and "temperamental." I was hesitant to buy another HTC phone, but was impressed with the One.
I narrowed my choice between the Galaxy S4 and the One. In the end, I was swayed by the metal case, the dual speakers (which are incredible), the display, and a few of the "Sense" features. I definitely don't regret my choice! This phone is lightning fast, built like a tank, and has performed flawlessly so far (no lock-ups like the Vivid, instant Bluetooth connection, better signal reception than the Vivid. Oh, did I mention the screen? Not only does it look great, but it doesn't smudge! I'm not sure how they did this (gorilla glass?), but I can use it all day with hardly a trace of smudging! Very nice! I was constantly having to wipe my other phone!
Bottom line - it has the same "cool factor" that my bag phone had back in '93, but works like no other phone I've owned in the last 20 years! Get it!

Rated 3 out of 5Â by howdy0318 Excellent phone but only 3 stars because no SD slot or removable battery
This phone is Awesome and was a toss up between this and the Galaxy S4. I chose this phone because of the size sleekness and I always loved how HTC sense fused with android. My only draw back and dislike of the phone which is probably the only reason anyone else has any issues or disputes.
NO SD CARD OR REMOVABLE BATTERY. just don't understand the reasoning or option not to add a SD Slot. HTC and other companies have thinner phones with SD slots or even the removable battery. I love the fact the phone is 32GB but being able to upgrade to the 64GB by choice with the SD slot should be OUR OPTION, as the consumer opposed to the heads over at HTC.
Also don't understand how this phone has a slower processor than the galaxy S4 and needs the 4.2 update immediately

Rated 5 out of 5 by Spellcaster Great! Craziest device I´ve ever had!
This is a pretty nice phone, I´ve had a very good experience using it, specially for school and work, it simplifies my day.
Althought I still love it, there´s just one thing I can complain about: I would rather use a little more storage space for my music and videos, therefore, an SD card slot would have been the only missing thing in this phone, so bad there is not a model with one.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by RickNelson Amazing all around!!
The look and feel of the HTC One is awesome. You just don't want to put it down. The sound quality is by far the best ever from a smartphone. The Camera takes perfect pictures in low light and great for action shots with the ZOE feature. I can even control my TV!!! All in all I am in love with my HTC One, This is the phone that I've been waiting for over the years. HTC has brought craftsmanship and technology together in perfect harmony. You won't be disappointed.

Everything about this phone is awesome, except blinked. I wish there was some way to complelty free up that home panel so that it could be utilized for more useful apps. Also I would recommend getting the silver version, the black one scratches just like the black iPhone 5. Besides those two complaints this is the best phone I have purchased yet. Although the screen is massive the phone is so siim when its in your pocket you dont notice it anymore then an iPhone 4.

People are Jealous of me when they see me holding a beauty in my hands. The camera is ok it still pass for my daily task, the battery needs a bit of improvement. That's about it.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by CharlesD Great User Experience from a Great Phone !
I upgraded my iPhone 4 to the HTC One after very careful reading the reviews and spending some time comparing iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S 4 with it. Both phones just weren't the same quality I expected. Once I upgraded I was able to easily migrate my iTunes music, contacts, calendars, etc. The HTC Sync Manager worked reasonably well. I then downloaded all the apps I had been using on my iPhone. The all work fine. Overall this has been an excellent transition to an excellent phone. I find Blinkfeed pretty cool - nice distraction. Also was able to set up the phone as a remote for my HDTV, cable box and sound system. Everything just worked. To sum it up - this is the best smartphone experience I've had in a very, very long time. The camera was absolutely great in low light. Since my purchase - my nephew and brother-in-law have also bout HTC Ones. The battery was I thought going to be an issue - but it's been pretty decent - better than my iPhone 4.

I am new to the device so I haven't been able to explore tall that it can do but am aware of all the great features. One that gets used a lot is the tv app that only this phone makes easy to setup and use. I am still learning how to do things with this phone since I have been using a windows phone prior to this one. I am excited for all that this phone can do.

This is one of the worst phones next the the motorola razor I had in years ago.It freezes, It restarts on it own going in between programs, the battery dies quickly and it has a small internal memory. I wish I never purchased this phone. But it was offered and pushed to renew with Verizon so my husband wanted to get it. and within 8 months of me having this phone it get progressively worse each month. Now I have to suffer with this home for another 8 month until I can get rid of it. I will never buy another HTC phone just like I won't purchase another Motorola no matter how much of a discount Verizon offers

This product is just Amazing! It has everything I wanted! And The Phone, is just...
I don't even know.. No words can explain it! It's just Gorgeous!
But there is only one problem though, it's just sometimes when you press the home button or the back button, it won't go back. You have to press it a couple times.. I am not sure if it is the phone? or the screen protector I have in it.
But, everything else, is just amazing!
I love HTC!

I wanted to get another HTC evo 4g but Sprint talked me into getting the HTC One. After hearing that it was durable and even faster than my previous phone, I bought it.
Not even 3 months later and I am NOT able to charge my phone. I went back to Sprint and they said that it was probably my charger... But I had just bought a new one the week before because I was having trouble keeping it to charge. They then told me that it must be the charging port on the phone.
I now have to spend $100 if I want to keep the phone.
I have also had bad experiences with it being extremely slow! My HTC evo was 3 times as fast!
Don't waste your money!!!!!

I gave my BF my iPhone after his got stolen and didn't want to pay a high price for a new phone. I'm familiar with Android from a Nexus 7 and have never had an Android phone. This is a great phone . All the reviews say the same but until I started using the phone I didn't truly understand. I even like the Sense software on top of the android OS. The software is well done and works great. The hardware is top notch. Much faster than my iPhone. The battery doesn't last as long as an iPhone but I expected that with the amazing screen. I was even able to play video files that are over 4GB. Something that I can't on my iPad. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this phone.

Well Well Well...
What a Smartphone this is...
That feel.. That Awesome Premium Looks.. Puts Kate Upton to shame :P
When you first hold this device, you know how privileged you feel... Aluminum Unibody .. What a Technology. I know its not a first since Apple used this first.. But then again, Apple are a first in most of the things, be it modern day touch, Aluminum feel...
So.. One by One :
Battery Life: Turn on power saver from 100% itself and expect it to beat most smartphones out there. What it does is underclocks the processor from 1.7 GHz to 1.2 GHz. Quite Useful. If you dont do that, prepare to be disappointed!
Media: HTC Zoe rocks! 1080p 469 ppi is a treat! You will forget about Retina Display for sure! Colors are natural and not artificially over-tones like Super AMOLED in S4
Phone features: Sense 5 (The UI, aka Launcher) is good but not like Stock Android Launcher. It has no lag, howsoever! Super fast! Speakers are awesome! Beats by Dr DRE is another advantage. Headphones sound so good! Touchscreen is very good and responsive. I dont care about no micro SD card capability as 32 GB is good enough for. The world is anyway moving towards Cloud storage and I see it moving forward without SD Card. regarding people critisizing that they cant change the battery. I have had 2 smartphones until now and I have never had to replace my charger. Just keep a USB Cable with you and you would be fine, just in case. You can find a USB jack almost anywhere!
The Camera is good but not great. In the night, its the best out there, most of us party in low light conditions dont we? So its always good to have the Ultrapixel thing!
Looks & Feel: Requires no words, fresh from heaven! Most B'ful phone out there!
Performance: Very Fast, people saying S4 has octa core and all, well those 8 cores cant be used at the same time in any cost. it has 4 Cores at 1.9 GHz and another 4 crores at 1.2 Ghz. for balancing between battery and performance
Value: Well with the HTC One Tradeup program, and transferring my number to Sprint, I paid ZERO Dollars!

I came from my LG Optimus and switched to the beautiful HTC One as soon as I could. I have never before had an HTC phone, as I previously used Samsung and LG phones. While LG and Samsung manufacture great phones, you can tell by the premium look and feel, that HTC put a tremendous amount of effort and care into performance and look.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by mxmann111 Dont think, just get it!!!!
My previous phone was an iPhone 4. When I first moved to the HTC one lt felt very big and harder to use, then again, I was coming from an apple device. But now after almost a month of using the HTC one, I absolutely LOVE the phone! I have a family member who has the iPhone 5 and a friend who got the Galaxy S4, and I have to say that I think that this phone is superior to both. The iPhone 5, galaxy s4, and the HTC one are all very fast, but the display on the HTC one is deffinitly far better than either of the other phones. The iPhone's app store is better than the two android phones but other than that, I think apple needs to do some catching up!
screen, feel, camera, sound, speed, almost everything!!
weight (this is a fairly heavy phone compared to the iPhone and it's a little heavier than the S4, but that is because of the all metal design) but it is about the same weight as my old iPhone 4. So deffinitly not HEAVY :)
Google play, the google app stör is just not as good as the apple app store, they isn't as many apps that I would like.
So as a person coming from an iPhone, I didn't like the HTC one as much as I thought I would AT FIRST, but now, I would never go back!!
1) HTC one
2) iPhone 5
3) Galaxy S4
I am also a heavy user, but i can easily get through a full day on one charge. And about the 4 ultrapixel camera, DO NOT DOUBT IT,it is superior to the iphone and s4 in normal and low light, just dont try to print big pictures!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by wegivethemtheE Easy contender for the best phone of the year award
Everything Htc promised was delivered. Great look and feel, tremendous screen, Two great cameras, sound quality is pure genius, and Sense 5 with Blinkfeed is simple, easy, and stylish. However, there are things that need to be improved, like with every phone. No major drawbacks, just a few things. Way too much AT&T bloatware. Not as easy to uninstall apps as on previous sense generations. Scuff and scratched WAY too easily. Gets kinda hot after a little while (Think IPhone 5). Battery Life is decent, just not top notch. You will make it through the day with moderate use at around 40%. TV remote setup might be confusing, but the actual TV recommendations are very accurate and work very well. Charging time is a little too long...sometimes it takes 2 hours. Wallpaper selection is alright, just not too exciting, kinda bland. Other than that, great phone. I chose this over the S4 for MANY reasons, and I highly recommend it. Not gonna go into all the reasons why I chose it, because I've been picky enough already. Plus, AT&T is offering a $100 off if your phone qualifies for a trade-in.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by cwofford first HTC I really enjoy
I got this phone, due to the exceptional build quality. There are some things I miss from my Note 2, the most being the battery life. Don't get me wrong, the battery does perform quite well, but it does need to be charged by the time I get home from work. The screen is AMAZING the 1080 really shines on the 4.7 inch display. This coupled with the boom sound, makes this phone a real media power house. I got this phone on at&t's network and have been really satisfied with the reception on both data and voice. The only downside is that I was unable to get the phone in black, other than that I am really satisfied coming from the note to the one.
