Sorely tempted by the One S but put off by poor battery life. Didn't need the extra processing power so went with the Desire X instead. Trying to eke out 2 working days out the battery but early days yet. The phone is great. I love the whole ICS/Sense experience. Still getting use to the new keyboard; not sure about the home button under the Space key. Headphone output seems to be a little muted relative the Desire S but call quality seems good. I miss the cool, aluminium unibody of the Desire S and the back cover does seem flimsy, but how often will you remove that? The phone is very light and I think the 4" screen is just right (for me). All in all, very happy with my new phone.

Excellent sharp screen, good battery life and love the size - big enough but not HUGE as is the norm with smartphones these days. The 4" screen is very clear, hugging the edge of the phone.
Phone looks very sharp with smooth design (almost similar to the iphone3). internet is really fast, and phone has reasonable memory for downloading apps (the microsd slot is great for expanding, so i could take all my music and pictures from my previous phone and simply plug it in)
HTC phones are very clever with great features which was a big factor in choosing to stay with them. I previously owned an HTC wildfire and this is a great step up.

This is my first ever HTC phone, in the past I had the Samsung Galaxy S2 and Sony Ericssons - my S2 screen broke so I bought this phone from new, theres no down side to it, keeps going whatever you throw at it, no major crashes or lags really so its done good, had it for a few weeks now, I love the sharp crisp text and images on this phone, better than my S2, battery lifes acceptable when the screen is 20 - 30% and when theres NO internet, syncing or locational services on its alot better. I like it - so a 4/5 for me as its not the quickest nor the best camera phone (decent tho) on market as only a 5mp (what u expect for a mid-range phone)

i purchased this product around 10 days ago, its a very nice mobile..hence some lags are thr, but its sense is absolutely very fine..immediately it reports error... and send it to HTC.. i wud say a best product at this price range..

I just got this phone and I love it, but I have two minor niggles. One, the screen sometimes goes jumpy and jittery for about a split second, it doesn't seem to affect the phone's performance but it's still annoying. Also, I downloaded a few apps from the Play Store (which was swift and easy to use) but one of them (Flow Free) just displayed the startup screen and then quit to the main app display. It did this every time I i clicked on it so in the end I just uninstalled it. Again this probably isn't the phone's fault, but it still made me go 4 stars instead of 5.
Overall this is a great little phone, but if you can afford to go for something like the One X or S, or even the One, then do!

I have had this phone 4 months now and it is amazing. The amount of features on the phone is exceptional. HTC has really made an effort on this phone. The HTC desire X can easily rival the iPhone 5. In my opinion I think it is better (I have compared the two) I will definitely be buying HTC phones in the future.

I initially thought of buying a Htc One S or One S+ because they are advertised to be far more superior although the down fall was the price. I chose a Htc Desire X because it seemed good from a few reviews but i wasn't completely sure of this. After using this phone i feel that for a prize of £230, it is astonishing. My sibling has now received an Iphone 5, which for some reason, i wasn't interested in. The i phone being over double the price, whereas only with a few tiny other features. I would any day recommend the desire x, for it's perfect design (looks great and easy to hold), for it's easy and responsive web experience, sound quality, surprisingly amazing camera and many other features. One of my favourites of this phone though, the right key to multitask. You can be playing on a app, then receive a message, go off the app read the message and get back to your game or other thing. The amount of windows up at once is amazing. I love the crisp images and amazing, already on the phone, effects with NO WATERMARK. For example the iphone, you may have to download 'Camwow' and have a huge watermark ruining my shot. Try out the 'depth of a field' effect, this and all effects found my going on camera and then touching the blue circle. The beats audio is great, and as an alternative to itunes, htc sync manager- which i am currently setting up with my favourite songs. Thank you for reading this. BUY A HTC. A HTC DESIRE X. Low price, but quietly brilliant as you may say. I would say this is as good as the one series. The battery life is rated average, but i mean that as in- what do you expect for a heavy used android.
