  1. Available storage is less due to phone software.
  2. Network bands in regions other than Europe and Asia Pacific may be different, depending on the mobile operator and your location. Upload and download speeds also depend on the mobile operator.
  3. a) Battery times (talk time, standby time, and more) are subject to network and phone usage.

    b) A Standby time specification ("specification") is an industry standard that is only intended to allow comparison of different mobile devices under the same circumstances. Power consumption in a standby state is strongly dependent on factors including but not limited to network, settings, location, movement, signal strength and cell traffic . Comparisons of different mobile devices using such a specification can therefore only be done in a controlled laboratory environment . When using any mobile device in real life circumstances for which the mobile device is intended, the standby time could be considerably lower and will be strongly dependent on the factors as mentioned above.

Note: specifications are subject to change without prior notice.

A Very Nice Mobile From HTC i purchased this product around 10 days ago, its a very nice mobile..hence some lags are thr, but its sense is absolutely very fine..immediately it reports error... and send it to HTC.. i wud say a best product at this price range.. March 23, 2013
HTC DESIRE X I just got this phone and I love it, but I have two minor niggles. One, the screen sometimes goes jumpy and jittery for about a split second, it doesn't seem to affect the phone's performance but it's still annoying. Also, I downloaded a few apps from the Play Store (which was swift and easy to use) but one of them (Flow Free) just displayed the startup screen and then quit to the main app display. It did this every time I i clicked on it so in the end I just uninstalled it. Again this probably isn't the phone's fault, but it still made me go 4 stars instead of 5. Overall this is a great little phone, but if you can afford to go for something like the One X or S, or even the One, then do! April 1, 2013
Upgrade from Desire S Sorely tempted by the One S but put off by poor battery life. Didn't need the extra processing power so went with the Desire X instead. Trying to eke out 2 working days out the battery but early days yet. The phone is great. I love the whole ICS/Sense experience. Still getting use to the new keyboard; not sure about the home button under the Space key. Headphone output seems to be a little muted relative the Desire S but call quality seems good. I miss the cool, aluminium unibody of the Desire S and the back cover does seem flimsy, but how often will you remove that? The phone is very light and I think the 4" screen is just right (for me). All in all, very happy with my new phone. November 23, 2012
Good value smart phone I choose to stay within a budget when choosing a new phone, after all for the additional monthly tarrif cost for a top of the range phone I could purchase a tablet to go with it. Having said that I am not disappointed with the Desire X at all. The processor is certainly fast enough to cope with my needs, mainly emails, social media, photographs and of course phone calls. I have watched a view video links online as well, which it managed without any hesitation or buffering pauses. However I suspect if this is one of your primary uses then a faster processor might be advantageous. General performance is good, the touch screen works just fine and the phone is simple to navigate. Phone build is also good, I have heard a view reviews mention the back cover being a bit difficult to remove but it seemed simple enough to me and lets face it how many times are you going to remove it. I have marked it as average for battery life, which means exactly that, it is on a par with other smart phones. Simply put the majority of smart phones do not have the length of battery life that we used to get from simpler phones in the past, because of the amount that they can do. Obviously technology will push forward and better batteries will be around in the future, but until then I shall just balance my usage against what the battery can cope with. Finally I find the screen size, and size of the phone, ideal. It still passes as a phone and you can carry out most operations on a 4 inch screen without any problems. As I mentioned before the amount that you save gives you options should you require greater screen size and from my point of view sticking a tablet in my bag is a better option than a massive phone. Overall I am very pleased with the phone, there are higher specification, more expensive phones out there, but for what this costs it really is very good indeed. Oh and did I mention the sound quality, exceptional. November 14, 2012
Sharp screen, compact and great design Excellent sharp screen, good battery life and love the size - big enough but not HUGE as is the norm with smartphones these days. The 4" screen is very clear, hugging the edge of the phone. Phone looks very sharp with smooth design (almost similar to the iphone3). internet is really fast, and phone has reasonable memory for downloading apps (the microsd slot is great for expanding, so i could take all my music and pictures from my previous phone and simply plug it in) HTC phones are very clever with great features which was a big factor in choosing to stay with them. I previously owned an HTC wildfire and this is a great step up. November 28, 2012
HTC Desire X Got this last week and am delighted. Having previously used a Wildfire HTC is now my brand of choice. The addition of Dropbox storage is a great addition to an already decent amount of memory. With a great camera and a choice of fantastic apps you really cant go wrong. My only fault to date is that the battery life is quite short if you use this device to its full potential. February 12, 2013
Very Good I have had this phone 4 months now and it is amazing. The amount of features on the phone is exceptional. HTC has really made an effort on this phone. The HTC desire X can easily rival the iPhone 5. In my opinion I think it is better (I have compared the two) I will definitely be buying HTC phones in the future. April 20, 2013
