Rated 1 out of 5Â by Tmehta Worst , laggy, bad in every sense
I purchased my phone 10 months back .I've had mixed emotion .For first two months it gave me good results however ,from two months onward ,it was a problematic affair for me . Following problems are observed .
1. When you put the phone to charge and if a call comes in ,you won't see any option ,only option is to press the power button .This problem was resolved only after 3 months .
2. When I installed some two to three apps .It takes whole lot of memory and it lags.
3. Battery is the biggest worry .It goes down even when I am not using any apps .
4. Now ,I came across with another issue .My touch pad is not working (Back ,Home ,Recent app buttons)
I went to service center and I complained about the same .They did some collaboration settings and it worked for a day and it stopped again .I don't have whole lot of a time to spend my entire time to the service center .We've got only one service center in a city .That is another issue altogether.

Awful camera with no flash, what were they thinking! not enough memory, which results in the phone being really slow!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Eley31 Worthy successor to my Wildfire!
When it comes to budget phones their is a barrage of plasticky phones from other companies and then there are devices from HTC. I used to love the way the HTC Wildfire was wrapped with metal and this phone definitely isn't a step down, it feels great in the hand.
The screen is really nice, as is the camera and the interface is the same great experience as always from HTC. One thing I do wish is that there would be a slightly faster processor, because sometimes you have to wait a bit longer than your friends for apps to open, but then you aren't spending £500 on a phone with this device, and for the money this is hard to complain about!

I upgraded from having an IPhone 3gs, I decided to take this over the IPhone 4, best decision EVER. Everything is really good, the camera is not perfect but is still very nice, battery life is good, it looks great, and it is so easy to use. I would take this over most phones.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by timbob great cheap smartphone
When I first decided to get a new phone i was looking at anything but an HTC phone, until i saw the HTC desire c. As soon as i saw it i new that i wanted it. I am pleased to say that this phone is brilliant and that i am pleased i bought it. Its camera is 5megapixel which is good enough. The phone is great for playing games and having apps, as there is a wide collection of them on the play store!! Also this phone has excellent sound quality thanks to the beats sound!! This phone is easy to use and it looks and feels great!!! the only bad thing about this phone is that the battery only lasts about a day, but apart from that everything is excellent. This phone fits all my needs from gaming to texting to calling or even browsing the web and listening to music!! this phone is a definitely must buy for anyone who is looking a great smartphone but does no want to spend to much money!! This phone is great and i will definitely get another HTC in the future!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rated 2 out of 5Â by starx2o Waste of time, power and money!
At first, this phone wasn't too bad apart from there was no manual to actually show you how to use it. Six months into having this phone, it's slow, unresponsive and constantly crashes! I've already had three new models of this phone sent out to me, one a month after buying the phone and still, it's not improved! It doesn't alert me half the time if I have a text- even if it's off silent! If I'm charging my phone and someone rings the screen goes black and the whole phone freezes. No camera flash or even a front camera is such a let down too. I don't even have that much stuff on my phone, so it's not because there's too much stuff on there. If you're looking for a phone with bad memory (go and buy a big SD card), bad camera quality, slow, which is also unresponsive and faulty then this is the phone for you! Everyone I know who has this phone or any other HTC wishes that they'd never of got one.
The only good point about this phone is the design, it's small and fits into pockets easily. I've got the white desire C, which with even a case, can never stay clean.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by sadsusan The worst phone I have ever had.
I am angry and appalled that I have to have this phone for 2 years under contract. It is utterlyprubbish. The first couple of months goe ok but by the 6th it becomes slow, unresponsive, crashes, makes it incredibly difficult getting online and constantly goes off and on apps without you touching the screen! The keypad is badly designed with my standard texts containing fullstops instead of spaces because the buttons are too thin.
It can frequently take 7 attempts to open up a text or even the internet. Even connected to WiFi it took me 10 minutes to successfully make it onto this webpage. Even as I write this review the screen and cursor jump around as though I have the fattest thumbs in the world...
I know mine isn't a one off. My boyfriend has the same phone in black and his does the exact same thing with the same problems around the same time.
I will.never.be getting a HTC again.
Sorry for the typos, doing my best on such a small keyboard. I turn it sideways and the keyboard is too spreading out and uncomfortable to use urghhh just one more year of.this and I.can go back to Nokia or even get myself an iPhone.....

Rated 1 out of 5Â by mikeypoodle HTC your an absolute joke
This phone came with faults. It calls people without my command, and no wonder why I'm running out of money. also the phone freezes practically every time I use this phone, I have had enough of this phone as well as HTC. And HTC if you think I'm recommending you or coming back to you think again. This phone is a pile of rubbish, and for the price of the phone is so expensive for what it is. And now when I listen to my music it automatically stops and starts, and whenever I press play it calls someone in my contact book. If someone thinks this phone is good, your wrong because this phone is a pile of rubbish

I've had a HTC desire C for a few months. I cannot open up "people" which is the phonebook. It crashes every time. It fails to update my apps, always get loads of error messages. The connection on it is very bad, breaks up during phone calls.
Dont buy it people!

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Kate123456 Worst phone I've had
This is the worst phone I have ever had. It is unbelievably slow and it takes about half an hour to actually load something on the internet. My phone has already been sent away once and currently needs sending away again for the same problem. My messages will not load and it's really annoying. I hate hate hate this phone and has totally put me off HTC phones for good!

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Meeeeeeee Slow and lagy
This was my first smartphone and I was not very impressed at first it seemed quite good but after a while it started lagging for example if a was texting somebody when I was typing the letters appeared a few seconds later also when playing games often the screen became unresponsive. On the other hand I thought the sound quality was quite good and it was cheap.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by TheIronN00B Too many problems
This phone had too many problems with it, i had to return it because it was faulty. i bought the same phone again thinking it was just a faulty model but the same problem occurred. otherwise I guess for the price you have to expect the low specs and slow speeds. But some of the speeds on this are terrible even by its price point. the two things i did like were the build quality and sound.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Toyah VERY Disappointed.
I changed yesterday from a Wildfire, i loved my phone but random things kept going wrong with it, I wish i had NOT changed to a Desire C.
The camera sounded ok BUT there's NO FLASH & NO Auto focus, tried to take a pic of my budgie & it was rubbish quality compared to my Wildfire.
I suppose it's a good phone if you've not had a better one but to me it feels like i've gone a step backwards.

This product had 2 faults, the first is the keys are so small as to make it useless for an adult to use and second I had it replaced twice as it kept freezing and wiping all the apps I had downloaded. Changed it for a different phone.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by PWA Best Phone Ever
This phone is fantastic, I had many options to choose from and was very glad I made the right choice. The apps and Games are very easy to download and use and there are 1000's. From Money Management to Sky Sports, Angry Birds to BBC News and Weather. The battery life is good, far superior to the Iphone5, there is so much to say, just go and buy it on Orange. I also purchased a 32Gb Micro SD Card which slots inside giving me about 9,000-10000 songs.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by hobodaddy cheapest feasible smartphone.
My previous phone made calls and sent texts. That's what it did. Nothing else, apart from the fact that it was tough and waterproof. However, the need for mobile internet, email, and google maps was pressing me towards a smartphone. I don't do contracts, I'm a PAYGuy. A little research told me this phone was the best for the price. Have to say, I'm quite impressed.
