What is NFC?

Near Field Communications (NFC) is a wireless technology that makes nearby devices communicate with each other as simple as a touch or being close to it.

NOTE 1: The close-proximity makes the transaction more secure.

NOTE 2: Smartphones will have a chip that will enable the two-way communication by either touching them together or being on a close proximity.

Do I need an internet connection to use NFC?

The use of internet connection for NFC depends on the kind of NFC support / service being used.

NOTE: Before using NFC, Please make sure the NFC Android Beam is activated.

From the home screen, please drag down the notification bar from the home screen, you will see Settings on the upper right corner.

You will receive a mail notification from Dropbox before the promotion ends. The storage capacity will return to 2GB unless you upgrade to Dropbox Pro account, but your data will not be deleted by the server. If you do not choose to upgrade your Dropbox account you will not be able to add or change files to the Dropbox until your used storage is lower than 2GB.
