A simply amazing to use phone. While it took me a little while to get used to it's ease of use once you know how is amazing as useful. One small down point is it does demand a lot of data usage for many of it's futures but there are easy settings to control it. A+ phone though defiantly recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by RajiCiscoGuru It was okay
I have been using my One for a few weeks now and I love the design but a few of the features really let it down. My first complaint is the battery life I can barely get 2 hours out of my phone when playing games, where as my Note 2 will get me 5 hours straight. The other complaints are the camera quality it terrible and the phone gets very hot under load and the screen is too small I can barely see anything.

top notch screen, great camera, smooth performance, OK battery life, sexy design, well built, amazing audio quality, front camera with wide angle lens is very handy.
what i hate is the 2 capacitive buttons, still not used to it. the software has alot of quirks like not removing blinkfeed, complicated to adjust the dock, homescreen. i hate the power button location, it is so flush and hard to reach.

The HTC One is brilliant. There you go that's all you need to know. You also might need to know that the questionable naming of the "Boomsound" speakers are just marketing but trust me, they aren't. They are high quality, very loud, very sharp studio speakers which begs the question, why listen to any other smartphone? The 4 "Ultrapixel" camera is fast at f/2.0 but the sharpness and clarity is just not there in daytime shots due to the low megapixel count. However, in low-light photography, with it's large sensor, this camera is an absolute gem, taking the best low-light shots in any smartphone camera.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by iTimoleagueDuck HTC One is Number One!
The One feels like the first time I held my Sensation, similar in design with a curved back but simply majestic! For a phone of such size it feels amazing that the weight of it is near identical to an office tool that you see every day. It is very easy to get used to! When I opened the box to see the phone my first thought was wow my second was "woah, this sure is cold!" and when I was out in the sun "Getting a bit warm are we now?" As there is no phone like it, it feels amazing to have something so unique and modern. Thanks to the case that came with it I have yet to drop it thankfully but I do think it looks and feels like a solid phone and it would be ok from waste side drops (my waste side anyway). The screen though, it is simply indescribable and a video would do it no justice it is simply amazing, never have I seen such quality in a phone! The sound out of the phone is the best on the market, easily. It is so loud and it beats any laptop that I have used. The camera on it is amazing too. You would think with only 4 UltraPixels that the phone would be very poor but I was very wrong. In a nightclub with low light and it performs like it was 12 in the day outside. The microphone is also superb as it has 2 HDR microphones built into the phone.

HTC One is one of the best phone in the world today. After a lot of research only I got this phone and I am absolutely not disappointed even a bit.
HTC should market it well and I am sure they would beat Samsung and Apple way behind running for breath. The only disappointment has been a very poor battery . HTC should do something to improve the battery life on this beauty.
Everytime I walk at the airport I have lots of eyes trying to take a glance at this beauty. The Blinkfeed and Zoe are amazing features most phones should have.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by DanB12 My HTC One Review
After having the HTC One for roughly a month, this device has changed my whole perspective on mobile phone technology. It’s Quad core 1.7Ghz processor and 2Gb of RAM makes it lightning quick to do the tasks you wish to do and making multitasking a breeze. It has a non-removable battery but as I will say further on in this review it is not major issue. Also not having expandable memory is debatable but having a choice of 32 and 64 GB of storage is more than sufficient for the tasks at hand.
I will be splitting this review into several parts: Design, Sound, Camera, Software, and Battery Usage.
1. Design: When you first pick up this device you will notice the premium feel of the aluminum unibody. It’s slight curvature on the back makes it perfect to hold in the palm of your hand. On the front you have two speakers on both top and bottom of the 4.7 inch, full hd 1080p screen. At the top it contains the power button which also doubles as an IR blaster. The 3.5mm headphone jack is also located there. At the bottom the mini usb port for the charger or connecting to a computer. On the right side there is the volume rockers and left side is where your micro-SIM is placed.
2. Sound: The sound is just simply amazing on the HTC One. With the dual frontal speakers and with Beats Audio enhancement they simply call it BoomSound. It is insanely loud you don’t need to have the volume up to max to hear your ringtone or whatever music you play. Word of warning though, it is that easy to scare yourself if you forget to lower the volume and a notification sound goes off like it happened to me on one occasion.
3. Camera: On the HTC One, HTC have done away with the traditional usage of megapixels and introduced the Ultrapixel. The new camera with it’s 4 Ultrapixels allows in 300% more light which is excellent in low light conditions. HTC also introduced Zoe which takes a 3 second video composed of pictures to make your photos come to life. Editing photos got easier with Zoe so those pesky items that get in the way of your perfect shot can simply be removed. The front camera houses a 2.1mp with a wide angle and HDR capabilities.
4. Software: In this section I want to talk about the software starting with Sense 5. Sense 5 is the latest in the Sense series by HTC and offers a new range of products and layouts. The first thing you will notice that the traditional flip clock has been replaced with a more modern design. Which also stays on screen when you open the app drawer. Running Jelly Bean 4.1 out of the box and due for the latest update to 4.2 any time soon makes the HTC One a smartphone that is up there with the latest and greatest. When you first turn on the screen you are greeted with a new thing called Blinkfeed. Blinkfeed gathers all of your social media and adds sources from chosen websites and shows you the highlights from what you desire to see. Several different settings have been tweaked to make this phone better than the rest. The Gallery for example, now shows you highlights of your photos taken and with Zoe it allows you to share a 30 second slideshow in different styles.
5. Battery Life: Lastly I want to quickly run through the battery life. Having used the HTC One in light, moderate and heavy usage, the battery never ceased to amaze me. On power saving mode with light to moderate usage you could go 16 to over 24 hours straight and with heavy usage a good 12 – 16 hours makes it a powerhouse to operate. Even with PSM off you can still get up to 14+ hours idle and light to moderate usage.
On a final note I would recommend the HTC One for anyone who uses their phone with heavy usage. You will not be disappointed. This smartphone is truly smart in all aspects and gets a final rating of 10/10 from me.

I've had this phone almost 8 months, I cannot fault it, the battery is more than sufficient, especially considering the size of the screen and the hardware it has to power. The screen is exceptional, absolutely exceptional. I bought it because someone made a good offer for my one x, I didn't think there would be much of a difference, and the one x was fantastic, this phone is a big improvement. With sense 5.5 BlinkFeed is also an option so if you don't like it, turn it off. This phone concentrates on doing what it does correctly and instead of childish features that amount to novelties that get turned off after a week, it puts its efforts into being as relevent to everyday use as it can be. Headphone quality is unrivalled so as an mp3 player, this is the best phone on the market. If you show someone a video, there is no issues with hearing it. The speakers are no gimmick, they are light years ahead of anything else

Rated 5 out of 5Â by pravus The One you've been waiting for!
I’ve been the proud owner of an HTC One for over a month. I can say with confidence that I've never been more satisfied with a mobile device. The HTC One features a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor and 2 GB of RAM which effortlessly handles all the multitasking that I've thrown at it. The lack of a removable battery and expandable storage, while not as popular amongst the masses, in favour of the embedded battery and 32 GB internal storage configuration found on the HTC One was not an issue for me and did not affect my enjoyment of the phone.
The zero gap construction and ergonomic curvature of the HTC One offers a premium experience that feels solid yet comfortable in the hand. I no longer live in fear should I ever drop my phone as I know it is the pavement that will come away worse off. The front of the device is dominated by the glorious 4.7 inch, 1080p display which makes Internet browsing and playing games visually engaging. The dual frontal stereo speakers offer unparalleled volume and sound quality for a phone. The position of the speaker/s on other phones and tablets is frustrating after experiencing HTC BoomSound. Rather than struggling to hear my phone in noisy environments I find myself turning it down! It’s a pleasure to share a new song or watch a video with a friend on the HTC One without having to overcome the mental barrier of the tinny sound that is prevalent on so many other mobile devices.
I don't profess to be a photographer. However, I've been taking more and more photos with the HTC One as I’m delighted with resulting image quality. The UltraPixel camera and sensor excel in low light conditions. With the advent of HTC Zoe and its ability capture up to 20 photos and a 3 second GIF-esque video, missing the moment is a thing of the past. The 2.1 MP, wide angle lens of the front facing camera is well suited to Google Hangouts and Skype video calling.
The HTC One currently runs Android 4.1.2 with HTC’s Sense 5.0 UX. While I've always been a fan of “straight from the Google tap Android that’s offered on a Nexus device, to lose the functionality afforded by the Sense 5.0 UX would dilute the HTC One experience entirely.
I was initially worried that the quad-core processor and 4.7 inch 1080p display coupled with my inability to put the phone down would decimate the battery life on the HTC One. The 2300 mAh battery gives me up to 24 hours on a single charge and up to 36 hours on a single charge with “Power save enabled.
I can't fault a single aspect of the HTC One and implore anyone who is considering to get this phone to do themselves a favour and follow through on their impulse. You won't be disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by NovaG The only ONE you need
You know your phone is a winner when random strangers stop you on the street and say is that the new HTC wow that looks great, i am going to get one now.
HTC makes everything so easy for people, Sense has become less intrusive then before but adds lots of value ads such as Blink Feed and Zoe.
You cannot understand how good Zoe is until you use it yourself, you think you miss that great moment till you realize Zoe captured everything
Even extras such as IR Remote might seem useless but with integrated TV guide and easy to control multiple devices, its great for when you can't find the remote
Most of all its the build quality that sets HTC apart, you never feel its fragile or cheap, it feels premium and when you listen to Boom Sound you are truly blown away.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Chinmay15 the state of the art...
HTC has done it. I've been using HTC phones for years now and HTC has never let me down. The latest HTC One is the best one ever.
Talk about sound, it's mind blowing. The bass in the speakers is outstanding.
Screen resolution is crisp and clear. High pixel density makes everything look just amazing.
Camera, the features zoe, and editing shows the creative side of HTC developers, however, the actual picture quality with 4 Ultra pixel isn't top notch. But it's good enough for daily usage and clicks.
Sense 5 is nice, flows smoothly, look and feel is stunning. I'm still getting used to the blink feed aspect yet. The bit annoying fact in menu screen is the apps scrolls one whole page at a time and I can't stop the scrolling at any desired place. I'm sure HTC would fix it in next update.
Battery life on HTC One isn't bad, but not too good either. I have been using it with the given battery saver mode plus battery saver apps like DU Battery or Juice Defender and it kinda lasts 12-13 hours. Definitely needs improvements on that by next update.
The overall body, can't explain in words how stunningly beautiful it looks with the sleek aluminum body with bit of matt finish and the white stripes looks outstanding. Front panel looks gorgeous with shiny screen with two front facing boom sound speakers. With slightly curved back, it fits perfectly in hand.
To sum it up, awesome work by HTC. Still needs few improvements. But it's simply awesome.

Ever since the smart phones came out HTC has been phone of choice for me. I started with the iphone and hated it, I sent it back 2 weeks later and exchanged it for an HTC sense. HTC one is my 3rd phone. Although I love the features on this phone I have to say that the camera on the previous phone was a lot better. As I use the camera a lot I would have thought that with the upgrade you would have given us an even better camera than previous versions, I am extremely disappointed in this feature as the new Samsung S4 has a better camera. If you are after a phone for great pics I probably wouldn't recommend it, but I am a loyal HTC user which is why I didn't go for another phone, if this feature is not improved I probably will for my next phone.
The sound is fantastic but disappointed with the choice of ring tones as well. I know that you can download your own or use music as ring tones but some of us just like the tone selections featured in the phone.
Zoe is probably the best feature on this phone.
Please also give people the choice of using an SD card for extra memory and improve the battery life as well, other than that, it's a good phone.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Pedah Sleek Silver and Powerful, Looks And Function!
The One is a phone that just captures the imagination before you even turn it on, the sleek design is something that makes it stand out. In the hand, it is solid, and unusually light, in fact it takes a bit of getting used to. It is thinner and lighter than most other phones I have had before.
There were features about the construction of the One that drew me to it, all metal, a high resolution, large screen, and sound quality from the onboad speaker design. The camera was a bit of a punt for me but prior to the availability of the phone there were plenty of comparisons to help with the decision of getting the phone.
AFter that though the camera has proven to be the feature of the phone that I most use and enjoy, wit the help of editing software as well. The One comes with great custom software and features built in, Boomsound makes it an entertainment device, The HTC skin for Android, Sense 5, is really intuitive, and for the most part the phone works out of the box.
Mostly though, you cannot beat the power, with a quad core processor and 2 gb of ram the phone never lags, and processes all of the things that I have thrown at it.
The One for me has been an encounter in the unfamiliar, having used Windows Phone for a long time, it is nice to see Android running on hardware that can handle it.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by gizmo Great looking phone. Camera disappointing in day light.
Great battery life. Fast, responsive, smooth, boom sound very nice.... But when it comes to camera performance, I'm afraid that higher number of pixels do make a difference. 4 ultra pixels aren't enough. Screen is highly prone to scratches. So keep a screen protector on. Everything else is great about the phone.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by pandaz HTC ONE
My previous phone was a HTC Sensation. The HTC ONE has a solid feel to it and is to my mind, ergonomically well suited to me, with perhaps the placement of the on/off switch on the left top different to the Sensation making it feel initially, misplaced.
The battery life is exceptional and my daughter commented very favourably on the quality of the camera - she uses an iphone!
I was not happy with the "this is what we decide you will have attitude" to blink feed which takes up one screen with no option for me to make my own decisions about it if I wanted to. My solution was to install a third party launcher which now enables me to change from sense 5 to alternate launcher as I want.
Equally I was not happy with being unable to replace the very ordinary system notfication sounds.
I missed several text messages that arrived overnight due to these inbuilt notifications. My solution to this was to replace the messaging app with a third party one which allowed me to replace the notification sound with one of my choosing.
All that is necessary now is to find a similar solution for email notifications.
Sound is great and watching videos is unsurpassed.
Voice calls are very clear and work perfectly.
The HTC ONE is for me, a genuinely impressive and useful phone.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by VK1MV Fantastic but with minor glitch on keyboard
I received the HTC one unit from Vodafone on April 23. I am very happy with it's built quality and i kinda like getting the attention of people who marvel looking at it. LOL
I just want to ask HTC's attention on the keyboard. When i am composing or typing messages..i notice the keyboard letters flickering with small horizontal lines. I hope its just a bug that can be addressed through a future update on the system.
Also...when i installed an original screen protector, the return and home switch became less sensitive and as a result..had to apply more pressure to make it work.
Besides that...well....all i can say is that I am a proud owner of the HTC one!
