Have been using the HTC One X for close to a week now. So far so good. My old phone was the Desire Z.
The phone is incredibly fast, sadly also incredibly hot when you run resource intensive programs. In terms of battery life, unless you are playing 3D games continuously, the battery life is ok. I managed to use it up to 14 hours before it died.
Moving from 2.3 to 4.0, I found some things difficult to find, such as the settings button (now hidden in the drop down or listed as 3 dots on the screen)
There is no more direct search button. That will be sorely missed.
Keyboard wise, I am using Swype. if you are an avid swype user like myself, you would probably be a bit annoyed because everytime you restart the phone, the keyboard shrinks in size. You will need to tilt it to go landscape and back for it to become full size again.
Audio, well it's beats, but frankly, not much difference in sound quality.
The only thing that irked me from this whole purchase was that HTC did not support the accessories from the Get Go and many stores are still waiting for the covers and screen protectors to arrive only next week, even the HTC store ran out of stock until today. This is a very serious flaw in the SCM and should be looked into.
There also seems to be some syncing issue with the phone contacts such that in the phone log and message log, some contacts do not show up and only appear as numbers instead of names
Overall, very satisfied... I would recommend this phone if you are recontracting. If you are buying this sans contract, hmmm... it's still worth it :)

Was a user of a variety of Smartphones and this one, my dear friends, takes the cake.. and a huge chunk of it at that..
Camera quality is stunning, fast and I just found out, with continuous shot feature.
Interface is user friendly and easy to get used to..
There is nothing on this phone that I have yet to see that does not impress me..

i change it from legend to one x.. the performance of the the quad core processor is really blazing fast...because of the tegra 3 processor the graphic are so nice in this device...the new feature of this device is the camera... with the htc image sense the picture that i took is really outstanding... with beats audio integration the sound quality are the best !!! in term of battery life is ok... if you play 3d continuously will consume more battery.. if normal use is ok... can hold for 12hours

Very impressed with this phones build quality, performance and software.
Battery life is the best on any smartphone I have owned.
This phone runs less hot than my GS2 or Galaxy Nexus.
Will be very hard for GS3 to beat what HTC have achieved here!
