Rated 5 out of 5Â by blade A true masterpice
Sometimes somewhen someone creates something that strikes.
This phone is this kind of product. Top notch features and blazing performance. Beautiful design and outstanding build quality. I would say HTC over-delivered with this model.
Just look around - you have either cheap looking phones with some specs or some good build quality with rather mediocre screens and internals.
And now you can have it alltogether.
P.S. My butterfly has micro SD card slot so memory is fine

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Cati I Don't understand why HTC can't push a bit more
Overall, im pleased (well i already bought one so i have to settle with this). Was expecting a lot from the phone considering the price and review. Got very dissappointed though particularly with the Camera and battery life. Our version doesn't have any LTE and NFC as well. If price range was about the same with Samsung's Galaxy S3, would have been nice despite all the imperfections. For those still planning to buy, recommend to wait a bit..
Oh by the way, first time to own HTC phone and i love the sound quality. :) Amazing esp when i paired it with a nice JBL earphone.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by HTCsince00s Quite allright but still not what we've been expecting.
Been using HTC's since forever. Great specs on this one but not that much greater than the HOX+ specs. Bit disappointed there. Overall specs are alright, but this still isn't the masterpiece we've been expecting from HTC for so long now. Specs are quite the same as HOX+. In some areas a bit upgraded, on some features the HOX+ still outperforms. The only realy noticable diff is the screenres which is full HD now, but must that be the only reason to go out and purchase this phone instead of a HOX+? HTC stil has to go at it and develop their masterpiece yet. C'mon, you can do it guys!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Seri Nice phone...but...
This is a beautiful phone, easy to use with an excellent camera.I've had no problems.I just don't like the battery life.It doesn't last very long :-( I already have it on energy saving mode, but the battery doesn't even last a full day. Would HTC be able to replace the battery with a battery with a longer life?

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Nathan456 Don't buy this phone if you need bluetooth
This is a great phone, I mean great other than the bluetooth is the worst in any New phone I've ever used. The wife has the same phone so I don't just have a lemon. Voice dialing returns the correct contact only 20% of the time, can be very frustrating. If it was not for this issue I would rate this phone 5 stars. But it is a deal breaker for me and I will be returning phone.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Mord Better than the Sony Z
Was going to buy the Xperia Z, because I wanted something water resistant. But the Z has poor viewing angles. Poor blacks and whites. And a quiet speaker. While the Butterfly has an amazing screen and a very loud speaker.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by AGee Truly Awesome. But not for All
Yes! it was amazing since it was Quad core phone and full HD display. I really enjoy this phone. However, it wasn't that nice when facing a Low Light situation, even it stated having a f2.0 aperture. The photo all comes out in dark(even night mode is ON for this, sad...) Other than this, it simply awesome. Like to enjoy Full HD video when pairing with Beats !!

Simply one of the best. Just love the sound quality on this device and performance is top notch. However I believe the battery should have been a little more big to power this monster.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Hashbrown Wifi problem
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this phone, however there is one MAJOR flaw! As soon as I inserted the sim card the phone stopped working on wifi, and I believe this phone is nothing without internet, my gsm internet is quite expensive and not all that fast therefore i'm hoping against hope that somehow this problem gets fixed. I love this phone wayyy tooo much and i'd be heart broken if I had to return it.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by salyaqout Battery and Camera Ruin the rest of the Features
I have no jiff with the phone, it acts as it should. However, the battery is consumed like crazy! i cant get more than 4 hours under regular use on 3G. Also, the camera is not on par with the droid flagships. Finally, it would be nice if they can add accessibility buttons on the drop down menu, like wifi etc..
no LTE support is alet down too!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by meer the best phone but..
I have had my phone for a few months now , i dont have any problems with it and it never crashed or lagged on me.
the size of the phone is good , its not bulky or too big (galaxy note) , the screen is beautiful . when i watch tv shows or play video games you can see how nice it is .
it does multi tasking very very well , i can easily switch between apps with out any problems .
the battery can last from 3-5 days , i use it mostly for texting ,checking e-mails , facebook , playing games for a total of 10-20 mintues per day and listening to music from time to time .
but my brightness is set to a low setting ,and i dont use gps or bluetooth .
the only thing that i dont like about it , is that i cant remove the battery , which is something i like to do when i sneak my phone in exam halls , as i need it to be with me and i cant give it up .
and as an ex-samsung user , i didnt like the fact that i need to unlock my phone from the htc website in order to start putting other firmware for my phone , its a pretty long process ( i still use the os that came with the phone ).

Unfortunately screen crack easily when i drop just as i walk (just 2 weeks after getting it). Previous HTC Desire HD does not have that issue when i drop i couple of times, and still work like a charm. So i really wonder gorilla glass is really true to what they have advertise.
The video quality and sound is amazing though. It still their strong point.

Rated 4 out of 5 Butterfly Camera is Worthless
I love everything about this phone. My last phone was the HTC Incredible S. And the Butterfly is better in every way except one......THE CAMERA. My old Incredible S still takes photos that are 10 times better than anything the Butterfly can do. And the Butterfly has a fatal flaw where the light from the flash bleeds into the photo. Meaning that ANY pictures you take at night......are utterly useless.......because 1/5th of the photo will be a yellowish colour from the flash bleeding in.
I'm actually going to go to the HTC headquarters and see if I can trade in my Butterfly for the ONE or the Butterfly S.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by kkalian311 The Perfect Phone
The HTC Butterfly is amazing. The screen is crystal clear and really detailed. Being able to watch video in 1080p really does make a difference. The colors on the screen are bright and vibrant. The beats audio enhancement with headphones is awesome and really useful. The size of the phone is what truly makes it the best one i have ever had though. With the size of it everything is viewable and no straining is needed when wanting to read text. The battery lasts me all day unless it is searching for service then it dies quickly.
Overall this is the best phone i have ever had.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by nick88 good internals, glass breaks easily
I've had this phone for 1.5 weeks and the screen already broke. I dropped it from 3 feet and it immediately spider-cracked from top to bottom. The touchscreen still works but HTC charges $220 to replace screen. Currently no available replacement glass. I had the ArmorSuit MilitaryShield screen and back protector installed when it broke (adhesive back protector) - definitely go with a thick silicon/hard case! They may double the size of the phone but at least you won't need to purchase a new phone. You might want to get the $7/mo ($400 max fee) insurance policy from Asurion that Verizon offers even with a good case.
Speakers have a range of loud to extra loud... I haven't found a way to adjust volume other than the rocker built into the phone - no apps allow you to change output, even the equalizer apps which mimic the rocker.
Battery lasts a day even with wi-fi on.
Go to xda-dev and download the adobe flash .apk - Firefox allows you to play flash but you need to "click to activate plugin" each time whereas Dolphin just works, however fullscreen in Dolphin does not work in my experience. IMO Firefox is worth the extra click.
On-screen keyboard isn't the best but you may be able to get used to the arrow keys and the enormous, poorly placed ".com" key when browsing the web.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Dhrupad Awesome Phone!!
This phone is just phenomenal. I have been using the Droid DNA from Verizon for about a few months now and just bought this phone unlocked recently. There is hardly any difference between the two and are identical in almost every way. Overall this is an Amazing phone.
GO FOR IT!!!

Rated 1 out of 5Â by BG442 Another non-starter from HTC
Years ago I was early on to get an HTC MyTouch and later got the original EVO 4G the day it launched. I'm still waiting on HTC to make a suitable replacement, which they haven't, since all their new phones have non-removable batteries which is a complete deal breaker for me.
With the announcement of this phone I'll be moving forward with another manufacturer. Too bad, I really like the Sense UI.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by pablo1234 please stop with the fixed back cover, comeback to the removable back cover
Your phones are really attractive and doing the work as well
I will prefer your sense interface and your phone material
But, your fixed back cover is really disaster,
Please come back to the old versions with the removable back cover, this time I have preferred to buy the Galaxy s 3 only because of this problem,
