Repairing synchronized data

Repairing the synchronized contacts and/or calendar data can be useful in the following cases:

  • To make sure that all data is synchronized between your phone and the computer, after an unsuccessful or aborted synchronization.
  • When you want to restore all the contacts and/or calendar items from your computer to your phone or vice versa.
  1. Connect your phone to the computer using the supplied USB cable.
  2. On your computer, make sure the HTC Sync icon at the bottom-right side of the screen appears in green. This means that your phone is connected to HTC Sync.
  3. Double-click the green HTC Sync icon on your computer to open HTC Sync.
  4. In the HTC Sync dialog box, click Sync Manager.
  5. In the Sync Manager dialog box, click Repair.
  6. In the Repair dialog box, choose whether to overwrite the data on your phone or the data on your computer.
  7. Click Start synchronization.
