Please follow these simple tips in order to maximize battery life.

1. When not in use, always disable your phone’s Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPRS. If the phone is not in use, set the battery power to the minimum level. 2. Set the backlight setting to its minimum. 3. Always charge the phone using the power adapter since charging through USB uses low voltage. 4. Try uninstalling 3rd party software. Since it is not tested by HTC, there is a risk in impacting your phone’s performance, including battery life. 5. Please check if there are any applications running in the background. Please press MENU on the home screen > Settings > Applications > Running services. You will find all the running applications on this screen and you have an option to stop them by tapping on a running application. 6. You may also check the signal strength in your area. Whenever it gets unstable, the phone will keep searching for a stronger signal. This may also shorten battery life.

To enable automatic updating for the applications you have downloaded from the Android Market, please press on All apps on the home screen > Market. On the Android Market screen, press Menu > Downloads. This screen will show a list of applications that are currently installed on the handset. Please choose the application you want to automatically update and tap it to open. On the application description screen, put a check on allow automatic updating.

NOTE 1: All apps is the triangle icon in the lower left corner of the home screen that opens the phone's application menu.

NOTE 2: An Internet connection (Wi-Fi, GPRS/3G, etc.) is required to access this service. Your operator may charge for using GPRS/3G.

You can share your mobile Internet to a computer via USB cable. Please make sure that you have an active mobile data connection on the handset in order to use these function.

To share your Internet to a computer, please connect the handset to a computer using the supplied USB cable and make sure that your data connection is turned on. From the home screen, press MENU > Settings > Wireless & networks. Please put a check on USB tethering. The handset will start sharing the Internet connection to the computer. To stop sharing the Internet connection, please uncheck USB tethering or simply disconnect the handset from the computer.

NOTE 1: A mobile Internet connection (GPRS/3G) is required to access this service. Your operator may charge for using GPRS/3G.

NOTE 2: This function requires GPRS/3G in order to work properly, and usage may shorten the handset's battery life.

Yes. You can use the flash of the camera when you shoot videos under dim lighting conditions. Please do the following to enable the flash when shooting videos: From the home screen, press All apps > Camcorder. On the camcorder screen, tap the Flash icon and tap on.

There are three ways you can find the IMEI on your handset: Please press Phone on the home screen and dial *#06#; this will automatically display the handset's IMEI. You can get the IMEI and serial number of your handset by pressing MENU from the home screen > Settings > About phone > Phone Identity. Another way is by removing the back cover and battery. The IMEI is printed on the sticker beneath the battery, inside the handset.

You can use the following keywords for voice actions "send text " will send the phrase as a text message to the contact you specify. "navigate to " will give you navigation instructions for the location you specify. "send " will send the phrase as an email to the contact you specify. "map of " will display the map of the location you specify. "go to " will pull up the browser on the specified website. "note to self " will save a note for yourself. "directions to " will give direction for the specified location.

Please make sure that your handset is paired and connected to a compatible Bluetooth device (i.e., headset, car kit, etc.)

To use voice dialing with a compatible Bluetooth device, please press and hold the SEARCH button on the handset and speak from the Bluetooth device. You can use keywords like "call ". For example, "call John Smith home" will call John Smith's home number.

Please make sure that the contact is saved on either the phone memory or your Google account. To setup multiple numbers in a single contact, please press All apps on the home screen > People. Tap the connect that you wish to add details to and press MENU > Edit. You can add a phone number by pressing Add below phone.

NOTE 2: You can also add other details like email, postal address and more by tapping the add option on the corresponding detail.
