Online storage with Dropbox and SkyDrive

HTC Sense is available with online storage integrated right out of the box. Integration of Dropbox and SkyDrive1 in HTC Sense enables you to automatically save all your photos and videos to either account, and access and share all your pictures directly from the Gallery.

When you turn your phone on for the first time, HTC Sense guides you through the process of setting up or creating your Dropbox or SkyDrive account. Once you sign into your Dropbox or SkyDrive in Accounts & Sync, you’ll be able to open and edit Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF files directly in Polaris Office and PDF Viewer and save them back automatically. You won’t have to worry about syncing your files before you leave your office or having to do an emergency edit of a document while away from your computer. Your phone virtually becomes an extension of your office desktop.

Whether it’s a photo album or the latest presentation deck, you’ll be able to share files that are too large to attach to an email. You can even send files to non-Dropbox or SkyDrive users. And it’s easy to keep track of how much Dropbox storage you have available. Simply check it in your phone’s storage settings or go into the Dropbox application.

Sharing files via email is now easier too. Using the attach file function in the Mail app, you’ll be able to navigate across your Dropbox or SkyDrive folders intuitively to find the file you want to send. You can also search for files from the Dropbox application or add Dropbox as a searchable item to Google search.
