Here are some tips to optimize the usage of your phone storage: 1. Change the storage settings to SD card for new music, video, and pictures. (On the START screen, slide to the left > tap SETTINGS > phone storage > choose "SD card" instead of "phone" in the drop down list.) 2. Free up your phone storage: (*Reminder: Back up your content before you remove any content from your device.) 2.1 Via your PC: Connect your phone to your PC > open the file browser > manage & remove content in the "phone" folder. 2.2 Via your phone:  2.2.1 Remove content from the Office, Photos, Music +Videos hubs.  2.2.2 Remove downloaded apps: On the START screen, slide to the left > press & hold the downloaded app you want to remove > uninstall.  2.2.3 Remove downloaded games: On the START screen, slide to the left > Games > press & hold the downloaded game you want to remove > uninstall.  2.2.4 Remove downloaded maps: On the START screen, slide to the left > Maps > tap the "…" button > settings > download maps > press & hold the downloaded map you want to remove > delete.  2.2.5 Remove downloaded XBOX music: On the START screen, slide to the left > Music+Videos > music > slide to the songs list > tap the "…" button > select > select songs to copy to the SD card > tap the "…" button > copy to SD card > tap the "…" button > select > select duplicate songs without SD card icon > tap the TRASHCAN button.  2.2.6 Remove unnecessary mails in the mail app. 3. Make the download email interval as short as possible. (Take Hotmail for example: tap Hotmail app > tap the "…" button > settings > sync settings > choose "the past 3 days" in "Download email from" drop down list.)

Make More Space will alert you when your phone storage is low. When you see the alert, you should manage your phone storage to optimize the performance of your phone. To create more space, open the Photos, Music+Videos and Office hubs to delete unnecessary content. You can also remove unused apps and games from your phone.

There are several ways you can transfer contacts to your phone.

1. Windows Live/Hotmail: Windows Live/Hotmail contacts are imported to your phone after you sign in to your Windows Live Account. You can also create more contacts right from your phone. 2. Social network accounts: Log in to your favorite social networks to import contact information from them. 3. SIM card: Copy all your SIM contacts to your phone. 4. Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync: You can syncs your work contacts from the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync Server in your workplace.

Here are some battery saving tips: 1. Turn off the display when you're not using it. 2. Reduce screen brightness under your specific visual habit 3. Turn off wireless connections such as the data connection, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth when not in use. 4. Turn on the battery saver option. To access the battery saver option: • Please tap START. • On the Start screen, slide to the left. • Tap battery saver. NOTE 1: START is the window icon at the bottom center on the phone screen.

NOTE 2: On/Off switch is the bar next to the option.

Yes. To access the advanced calculator functions: 1. Press the START button. (The START button is the Windows icon at the bottom center below the screen.) 2. On the Start screen, slide to the left. 3. Tap Calculator. 4. Rotate the phone to the landscape orientation.

Hot environment can cause the phone to reach unsafe operating temperatures quicker. Please make sure you do not use your phone in direct sunlight. If your phone gets hot and uncomfortable to the touch, turn off your phone and wait until it cools down before you use it again.

Connect your phone to your computer using the supplied USB cable, and then copy your files over to your phone.

To find out how, go to our HTC support site. Select your phone model, and then under How-tos: See "Copying files to or from the phone storage" to copy files to the phone's built-in storage. See "Copying files to or from the storage card" if your phone model supports a storage card.

To find the serial number of your phone, you can check it on a sticker in the gift box. Please keep this sticker properly in case you have repair service requirement in the future.
