Q:What is Wi-Fi tethering?
A:Wi-Fi tethering is sharing your Internet with other Wi-Fi capable devices. The handset will act as a wireless router that will broadcast a wireless network, which can be picked up by Wi-Fi enabled devices. The handset will use it's data connection (3G/GPRS) for this function. Please be advised that your mobile operator may charge extra for data services.
To share your Internet to a Wi-Fi capable device please make sure that your data connection is turned on. From the home screen, press MENU > Settings > Wireless & networks check Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot. You can change the network name and secure the connection by tapping Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot settings.
After configuring the settings, the handset will start broadcasting its Wi-Fi network name and you can connect up to eight devices.
To stop sharing the Internet connection, please uncheck Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot.
NOTE 1: A mobile Internet connection (GPRS/3G) is required to access this service. Your mobile operator may charge for using GPRS/3G.
NOTE 2: This function requires GPRS/3G service in order to work properly, and usage may shorten the handset's battery life. Please refer to "How can I prolong my handset's battery life?"
NOTE 3: All apps is the square icon in the lower left corner of the home screen that opens the phone's application menu.

Q:How can I share my Internet with a compatible device?
A:There are two ways you can share your Internet to a compatible device: either through USB or you can use the handset as a portable wireless hotspot.
Please make sure that you have an active mobile data connection on the handset in order to use these functions.
To share your Internet to a computer via USB, please connect the handset to a computer using the supplied USB cable and make sure that your data connection is turned on. From the home screen, please press MENU > Settings > Wireless & networks and check USB Tethering. The handset will start sharing the Internet connection to the computer.
To stop sharing the Internet connection, please uncheck USB Tethering or simply disconnect the handset from the computer.
To share your Internet to a Wi-Fi capable device please make sure that your data connection is turned on. From the home screen, please press MENU > Settings > Wireless & networks and then check Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot. You can change the network name and secure the connection by tapping Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot settings then after configuring the settings. The handset will start broadcasting its Wi-Fi network name and you can connect up to eight devices.

Q:How can I change my contact's primary number?
A:To change a contact's primary number, from the home screen please press All apps > People then tap a particular contact you would like to edit. This will take you to the contact details. Next tap and hold the number you would like to make primary, several options will appear, then tap Set as primary number.

Q:How do I reset my phone back to the factory default settings?
A:Warning: Resetting your phone will erase your phone completely. Remember to backup your phone information and settings.
From the home screen please press MENU, then tap Settings > SD & phone storage > Factory data reset > Reset phone.
You can also perform a factory reset by using the buttons on the phone.
1. With the phone turned off, press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, and then briefly press the POWER button.
2. Wait for the screen with the 3 Android images to appear, and then release the VOLUME DOWN button.
3. Press VOLUME DOWN to select CLEAR STORAGE, and then press POWER.
4. When asked to confirm, press VOLUME UP.
NOTE: Resetting your handset to factory or manufacturer's default setting will delete all the data stored on your phone memory, please backup your files first. To backup all of your personal information on your phone, please refer to "How do I backup my phone".

Q:How do I remove the back cover?
A:With the phone turned off, place it face down in the palm of your hand. Pull upwards on the notch near the top of the handset.

Q:How do I remove the battery?
A:With the phone turned off, place it face down in the palm of your hand. Pull upwards on the notch near the top of the handset.
Hold your phone securely then lift out the battery from the notch near the camera lens.

Q:How do I remove the Memory Card?
A:With the phone turned off, place it face down in the palm of your hand. Pull upwards on the notch near the top of the handset.
Hold your phone securely then at the left side of the handset pull the storage card in to eject it from its slot.

Q:How can I copy texts from browser to a text message?
A:To copy text from your Internet browser on your phone, from home screenplease press All apps > Internet then open any website you want to copy text from. To highlight and copy the text, please tap and hold on the start of the text you want to copy. Two green dots with pointers should appear. Drag both dots to the start and end point of the text you wish to copy. After successfully highlighting the text to copy, there will be a box that has three options:
1. Copy - to acquire the text and place it on the clipboard to be able to paste it on another possible location. To paste it to another location after choosing copy, just tap and hold on the location you want to paste the text and after releasing, the"paste" option should come up. Just tap paste to transfer the copied text to your desired location.
2. Quick Lookup - opens a page in order to research about the copied text using Google Search, Wikipedia, YouTube, Google Translate, and Dictionary.
3. Share via - allows you to publish, post, or use the copied text to your social networks, mails and messaging like SMS or MMS. This option automatically pastes the text you copied to the option you chose.

Q:Why does the web page displays differently as compared to my pc?
A:By default, the phone displays all web pages using "mobile view". However, you can change this default setting to be able to view the web page in a "full site" view or the same way it is showed on a normal computer. To change how the web page is displayed to a "full site" view, from the home screen please press All apps > Internet > Menu > More > Settings then uncheck Mobile view.

Q:What is the maximum size for sending MMS messages?
A:The default the message size is set to 300KB. To change the size limit, from the home screen please press All apps > Messages > MENU, and locate the MMS settings section and tap Maximum message size. You can change it to 100KB or 200KB.
NOTE 1: Before changing these settings please verify first with your mobile operator if they support the size limit for MMS Messages.
