  • Q:I want to purchase and read digital copies of magazines and books. Where can I buy?

    A:

    You can search, view and read digital copies of magazines and books on Amazon Kindle application. To purchase a book from Home screen, please press All apps > Amazon Kindle > MENU > Kindle Store then browse or search for your media then tap the book title > Buy now.

    NOTE 1: All apps is the square icon on the lower left corner of the home screen that opens the phone's application menu.

    NOTE 2: An Internet connection (Wi-Fi, GPRS/3G, etc.) is required to access this service. Your mobile operator may charge for using GPRS/3G. Paid applications are available in specified territories only.

    NOTE 3: This function requires Wi-Fi or GPRS/3G in order to work properly, and usage may shorten the handset's battery life. Please refer to "How can I prolong my handset's battery life?"

  • Q:Where can I buy books I can read using my phone?

    A:

    You can use Books application on your device to purchase digital copies of books available online. To purchase books from the Home screen, please press All apps > Books > Shop.

    NOTE 1: All apps is the square icon on the lower left corner of the home screen that opens the phone's application menu.

    NOTE 2: An Internet connection (Wi-Fi, GPRS/3G, etc.) is required to access this service. Your mobile operator may charge for using GPRS/3G. Paid applications are available in specified territories only.

  • Q:How can I format my microSD?

    A:

    To format your microSD card, from the Home screen, please press MENU > Settings > SD & phone storage > Unmount SD card > Erase SD card > Erase SD card.

    NOTE 1: Erasing your microSD card will delete all the data stored in it, please back up your files first. To backup your microSD card files, please refer to the FAQ "How can I backup my microSD card files?".

    NOTE 2: This step will also reset your phone to factory settings. Resetting your handset to factory or manufacturer's default setting will delete all the data stored on your phone memory, please back up your files first. To backup all of your personal information on your phone, please refer to the FAQ "How do I backup my phone".

  • Q:How will I know if I am placing a call for an emergency number?

    A:

    In order for you to recognize an emergency number whenever you make one, you should get a feedback from the phone. Your device is equipped with a feature to make a behavior if it recognizes that you are placing an emergency number. To access emergency tone settings from the Home screen, please press MENU > Settings > Sound > Emergency tone then between Alert or Vibrate.

    NOTE : An emergency number is a communication channel designed to facilitate easier assistance to those in need. Please do not make prank calls.

  • Q:Is there a way I can quickly check whom of my friends are online to have chat with?

    A:

    Yes there is a way to quickly check online friends. To place Fb Chat widget from the Home screen, please press MENU > Settings > Personalize > Widget > Fb Chat.

    NOTE 1: A mobile internet connection Wi-Fi or (GPRS/3G) is required to access this feature. Your operator may charge for using GPRS/3G.

  • Q:Can I wirelessly print my pictures using my phone?

    A:

    Yes you can print your pictures using your device wirelessly. To print your photos from the Home screen, please press All apps > Gallery > All photos then choose photo to print > More > Print then scan available printer or add one > Print.

    NOTE 1: All apps is the square icon in the lower left corner of the home screen that opens the phone's application menu.

    NOTE 3 : In order for your photo to be printed thru the network, make sure both the printer and the phone are connected thru a single network.

    NOTE 4: This function requires Wi-Fi in order to work properly, and usage may shorten the handset's battery life. Please refer to "How can I prolong my handset's battery life?" FAQ.

  • Q:Is there a way to monitor how much RAM running applications and cached processes are using and if necessary stop them?

    A:

    Yes there is a way to check RAM usage on your phone. To check the RAM your device is currently using, from the Home screen, please press MENU > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Running to show the services running on your device, the total RAM being used is displayed on the bottom left part of the screen and the free space of RAM is shown on the bottom right part of the screen, > MENU > show cached processes to show the cached processes currently running on your device. To stop a service or cached process, please tap on the service or process > Stop.

    NOTE : Some services and cached process are necessary for your system to function properly. Stopping these specific services or process may stop some features of your device from working correctly until you power it off and then turn on again.

  • Q:What should I do before I send my phone for repair?

    A:

    Before you send your phone for repair, make sure that all possible troubleshooting steps should have been done. If not, please contact technical support from the country where you purchased the phone. Please back up your phone if necessary. Your Google contacts, calendar and Gmail are automatically backed up to Google servers. In addition, this phone can log applications you downloaded from Android Market.

    To restore downloaded applications after resetting your phone, log into your Google then use the market to download the applications you previously downloaded. There is a record of what you previously downloaded in the "Downloads" of the Android Market interface.

    NOTE 2: For possible troubleshooting steps, please make sure that you have called for assistance about your handset.

  • Q:Is there a way I can view major specifications of my phone?

    A:

    Yes there is a way to view some major specifications of your handset. To view these specifications, from the Home screen, please press All apps > Settings > About phone > Hardware information.

  • Q:How can I backup my SMS?

    A:

    You can back up SMS to the SIM card by pressing All apps on the home screen followed by > Messages. Next tap a SMS to view the message thread, and then tap and hold the message that you want to back up to your SIM. Next tap Copy to SIM > OK. You will see a SIM card icon in the right of the message thread after the SMS has saved.

    NOTE 1: All apps is the triangle icon in the lower left corner of the home screen that opens the phone's application menu.

    NOTE 2: The storage of the SIM card is dependant on your mobile operator.
