  •  Quality Assurance Supervisor

      • Own post-launch support for HTC smartphones for All Japan carrier with customer satisfaction and timely response.
      • Direct Customer Complaint Handling & Customer Monthly Quality Review.
      • Track and report post-launch quality issues and other product feedback from carriers, HTC salespeople and other relevant sources.
      • Investigate reported issues locally, fully understand the impact and customer requirement, determine root cause and drive resolution with appropriate local resources in HTC.
      • Delivery accurate and clear information(including issue symptom, impact, reproduction step and failure rate,etc) when investigate customer issue with headquarter resources.
      • Deliver customer request, issue, information in English when communicate with headquarter, and optimize the answer, report from headquarter in Japanese in order to satisfy customer expectation.

  •  Software Quality Assurance Engineer

    1. Job Definition
      • Responsible of on site Technical Support and of Pre-Sales with the Operator Team
      • To assure all products quality including software, hardware, performance, and process
        • To manage customer quality control process and criteria to release HTC products without any defects
        • To perform any necessary testing including manual testing
        • To support SQA organization in HTC H/Q for customer driven testing
        • Execute SQA regional testing plans in Japan, such as system performance / stability testing.
        • In case of necessity, need to be the contact window to face customer for non-SQA related questions. Then to bring customer's inquiries back to internal owner.

      The perfect candidate for this role will have a mix of customer interaction and communication skills, along with strong mobile phone testing skill. Moderate travel will be required for this position on an as needed basis when doing internal field trial or joint test with customers. This position solid line reports to SQA in TW HQ and dotted line reports to Japanese office Product & Engineering Division.

      EXPERIENCE:

      • 3-5 years mobile phone testing experience. With Android / WM smartphone experience is preferred.
      • SW programming experience on Android or WM platform is a plus.
      • Knowledge of mobile development best practices
      • Good communication and presentation skills. Must be able to communicate to both technical and non-technical personnel
      • Willingness to dive into any situation and work thru to success and completion
      • Ability and willingness to multi-task, manage, and work hard in a fast pace, TEAM environment
    2. Responsibility
      • Perform necessary testing to clarify and investigate customer reported issues. Co-work with project manager, SQA and RD.
      • Responsible for SQA internally for field specific tests
      • Responsible for beta user manual testing to gather/analyze test results and feedback to HQ SQA
      • Support HQ RD for issue testing and verification
      • Upon necessity, need to travel to contact customer directly for on-site issue clarification.
      • Upon necessity, need to work overtime to co-work with HQ
