Having audio issues when playing music or video from the Google Chrome browser?

When trying to play music or video from the Google Chrome browser, you may experience the following issues:
  • Audio plays from the top speaker only.
  • During playback, pressing the VOLUME buttons doesn't adjust the media volume.

If the above issues occur, try one of the following after you've chosen an app such as Music or YouTube to use for playing the music or video:

  • In the Google Chrome browser, close the tab that contains the embedded media.

    Or, if there are several tabs open in Google Chrome, tap > Close all tabs.

  • Press to open the Recent Apps screen, and then drag the Google Chrome app up to close it.
