Rated 4 out of 5 It's amazing.
My most favorite feature is the IR Blaster. I hate having different remotes for my TV, DVR, and Home Theater. Second is the camera. It is very useful in low light condition, but sometimes I get blurry pictures. Battery life is not good though. Just playing Candy Crush drains my battery for only a couple of hours and it's back gets very hot. I like it too because of its design. Every person who sees it for the first time is amazed. Most of them said, "OH! That's is so beautiful! What kind of phone is that?" The speaker is excellent for quiet environments but not in noisy environments. The beats audio produces deep bass. I'm disappointed though because the beats audio is not loud enough, especially that I like sharing my music. Another reason I picked this is its UI. S4's UI is UGLY! Another downside on this device is it's capacitive buttons. They're not that responsive in some cases.

WoW! I mean its simply wow. The uni metal body, the lightweight phone. A huge 4.7 inch capacative touch screen. Two speakers on the front that give THE RICHEST quality audio. Blinkfeed & Zoe two more awesome features. What more can I say? Its packed with so many features and Samsung's S4 is way behind this!

Rated 3 out of 5 Going back to Samsung ASAP; the S4 is much much better
I traded in my Galaxy S3 today for the HTC One. while I loved my S3 I was less than happy with the S4 (I traded it to my wife for her S3)
Wanting to see what they hype was all about over the HTC One, I decided to give it a shot since it would only cost me the $36 upgrade fee as I traded in my S3 and got a $200 credit (the One cost me $150)
While the design of the One was very nice as expected and it was of good quality my expectations ended there. software wise, the HTC One has NOTHING over the Galaxy S3/S4 absolutely NOTHING.
The S4 is better than the One in every way except for the stylish looks of the One (which will be covered up with a tacky plastic case anyway)
The S4 has many more camera features, useful ones like being able to pause video while recording which is a big thing for me. the contacts app in the One is limited and messy compared to the S4. the calendar on the One is horrible--on all my Galaxy devices I can see a preview of my calendar entries in a pane below the calendar as well as on the days themselves. so at a glance I can see all my calendar entries--NOT so on the One, I have to tap on the days--all of them to see what's coming up.
I miss the pull down access to settings on the S4 as well as how the notification space is used in general.
I know its only bee a few hours since I got the One but so far I think its a horrible phone unless you're like apple fans and just want something that's pretty look at.
I'm going back to Samsung ASAP; the S4 is much much better.

Everytime I look at this phone, I'm like "oh my god, what a beautiful device", it's as if I see it for the first time and this is awesome, keep up the excellent work HTC, and please include a microsd slot in your upcoming models (non removable battery doesn't bother me though)

Rated 5 out of 5Â by TheFauxGeek The One is an All-Inclusive Mobile Device
I love holding the HTC One, it feels sturdy and well built. I can text with one hand so it’s not too wide like a phablet but makes great use of the screen real estate. One of my biggest reasons for leaving iPhone behind for the Inspire was because of the screen size and quality.
The HTC One is thin enough to fit in shirt pockets or small hand bags even a wallet but not too thin that I don’t feel like I have a good grip when holding it. I always buy cases for my phone’s so that I can get a good grip on it and this is the first time I feel like I can carry a phone without a case. The build quality just feels great right out of the box.
I love the high quality resolution of the screen. The font type is clear, image quality is crisp that I would actually read a book on my HTC One. Gaming apps are fun because the speaker quality sounds better than some hand-held devices like the DS.
The battery has been great so far but I am still a firm believer that the more you use obviously the more you will lose. I am picking up my phone less and not reacting to every single notification I get. I listen to music on my 30 minute round-trip work commute and when I get into the car I plug it into my car stereo to listen to my music and have a hands-free conversation if I get a call. This leaves me with about three quarters battery life which is pretty good.
What I appreciate most is that now having the HTC One in hand even if given the choice in color I love the platinum color of the HTC One. It’s not shiny and cheap but more matte, sophisticated and with beautiful lines like a skyscraper.

Wow. That's all I can say. I was a long time apple fanatic until just one day my previous phone (iPhone 4S) started freezing and acting up. I was looking at technobuffalo reviews on the iPhone 5 when I stumbled upon the One. I read the article and fell in love. It broke my heart that my contract with AT&T wasn't up until august. So I researched even more and found that it was killing the iPhone 5 in almost every way. That made me go more crazy. I had started to think that the iPhone was prehistoric. I always thought that ios was boring and impossible to customize (except if you jailbreak it, which I did). I wanted a stable phone that I could customize. I found that in the One. I saved up money for the early termination fee. The quad core processor runs everything smoothly, even intense games. It does everything I want and more, and I can't wait for the key lime pie update. Great job HTC!!!!

I have never had such an amazing phone before. I started with a black version and I used it with my upgrade to get the red HTC One. That's how much I love this phone. People thought I was crazy to do that! No, just found a phone that makes me keep coming back for more. No other product has even came across my mind to try or even play with at a store. I don't want to infect my all metal sexy beast of an uber phone after I play with an all plastic toy. I'm good! HTC, you are amazing and thank you for bringing such a wonderful, intuitive, sleek, blow your face away with music and screen awesome, uber smartphone to us!

This is hands down the best phone I have ever used. I constantly pick it up to cut it on and look at it. I had the choice of the iPhone 5 or either this. But when I saw the box for it I was interested. Then when I saw my black aluminum body, I already knew in my mind that I need that phone. I have that phone, and I am very pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Jasser A HUGE IMPROVEMENT!!!
My previous phone was an HTC sensation. Needless to say, HUGE improvement. I truly believe it's overall the best smartphone on the market right now. The camera is awesome, I LOVE Zoe. Best txt messaging experience I've ever had. Extremely fast and snappy. Speakers are out of this world, I mean I dare you to find a phone with better speakers (I mean they face TOWARDS YOU IT'S GENIUS!!!). Also the screen is just beautiful LCD 3 with like 900 something pixels per inch it truly is amazing when watching movies and viewing photos. My only very teeny tiny minor complaint is that the battery could be a tad batter. It's good but it could be better. Overall amazing phone. Good job HTC.

I have used iPhone's since they first came out and only gave android phones a chance twice, both of which I did not like.(Samsung Infuse, and captivate) I decided to take another go with the android platform and choose the HTC One. The thing that drew me in most to this phone was it's form factor. It wasn't a cheap plastic phone, it felt quality made. I was right, the phone is definitely of quality material and it is a very fast performanced phone. The battery last much longer than my iPhone's ever did, I feel so much more free with my HTC One than I did with my iPhone, and it is just as easy to use! I would highly recommend this phone to anyone looking for a quality android platformed phone.

Changed from an HTC EVO 3D To this phone, and i'm glad i stayed with an HTC. This phone is a huge upgrade over my EVO 3D. I was a bit apprehensive regarding the lack of an external storage option, but this 32gig phone will more than suffice. Its fast and since it's an HTC the learning curve was 0. I'm always on it so the battery needs recharging in the truck but that's to be expected with my usage. When i'm rocking 4G or WIFI this phone is blazing fast. Looked at the Galaxy4 but the specs on this phone were comparable and again I'm not at all disappointed. I Got one for the wife as well. so my recommendation is Get this Phone You'll see what i'm talking about.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by wtvl29 Best handset ever made
HTC One Review
For the last month I have had the great pleasure of using my HTC One as my daily driver (handset). I will break down each of the components in my review, but I will just get this right out of the way to start: "This is the best handset I have ever used. EVER". Now for the review
Screen: The HD screen us by far one of the best viewing screens to date. I have found that with other devices, the auto brightness feature will adjust way to frequently and cause a less the desirable experience. The colors the screen protests are life-like and vivid. I can share at this screen for hours.
Sound: The boom sound is simply amazing. Being somewhat of an audiophile, I was somewhat skeptical at first, but have been blown away by the clarity and richness of the music it plays and the loudness of the speakerphone. I have to sometimes turn it down when speaking to people, it is that loud.
Battery: The battery life is a daily charger. I use Wi-Fi quite a bit for my data needs at home (No 4G in area) and the phone can last from 8 am until 11 pm without a charge. Really impressed with the battery overall.
Camera: The Ultra-Pixel camera is awesome. I have tested a lot of camera phones in my day, and find that the colors and effects that you can do, are simply the best. I have come to love to Zoe feature and use it for capturing most of my photos. I have also used the event feature to create custom video/slide shows put to music at the click of the button. Love that.
Software: Sense 5 is truly amazing. Being a long time HTC user, compared to other's this ROM is professional looking and balances well the resource use of the overlay. Blinkfeed at first took some getting used to, but I find myself now checking it multiple times a day and sharing things with my social networks.
Form Factor: Plain and simple the most elegant professional looking phone ever made. The weight and screen size are perfect and the high class aluminum body is stunning. I almost feel guilty using my Double Dip Flip case from HTC to cover it up.
As I said in the beginning and will say again. This phone will be on my side for a long time to come. I would recommend it to anybody looking for the best handset on the market for not only today but for the last few years.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by bplumb Stunningly beautiful
Having previously owned a HTC Desire and been struck with bloated contacts/major memory issues for 2 years, I looked at a fresh start with the Samsung S4. Don't get me wrong, the S4 is a lovely phone, but when Three suggested I take a peak at the HTC One before making my final decision, there was only ever one winner.
2 weeks on and I am amazed at this phone. The screen is stunning, the camera; immense producing the most beautiful of pictures, the sound is unlike anything I have heard before and the speed is just unreal. Everything about this phone is fantastic and I couldn't be happier.
HTC, you have turned a really annoyed customer into a HTC One evangelist. Bravo.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by DavidDossenback After using iPhone, every surprised. Impressive phone.
After using the iPhone 5 for several years, I was forced into the iOS 7, completely hated. I went to my local AT&T store and paid 549.99 for this phone straight out off contract. I have got to say this is one impressive device! The speed of the phone is phenomenal. I have owned nearly every phone on the market, always switching back to the iPhone, HTC was got me hooked, I will not be returning.
One thing i would change in the next HTC device is a 8.0 Ultramega pixel!

I feel this is a real attempt from HTC to make a superior phone that everyone can use. Well I have to say HTC did a great job on it! The beautiful Full HD screen, the quad-core performance, dual band wireless, 4G LTE support, and its aluminum design make this phone shine and fly down the super highway. Overall: I would highly recommend this device and hope you get it at your local phone store!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by ShayD Im Lovin It!!!
I love everything about this phone. I love the fact that you can take photos without having to put in your security code in when your phone is locked. You can just press the power button slide the camera icon up and take your photo. Especially handy for the times that you need to capture that moment and don't have a lot of time to do so. I love the live feed for your facebook, twitter, and news. I also love the fact that it only does a automatic live feed when you're connected to Wi-Fi. I love the fact that you can put your apps on your front screen and save them in a little box in categories so that you don't use all your space on your front screen. I love the Zoe feature on the camera and also love the fact that you can take a video and choose a frame from your video and make it a photo. The remote is also cool I have mine hooked up with all my TVs it's so easy to switch from one remote to the other. I love the fact that when it lets you know what's on tv little boxes with the shows' pictures are you on the screen click the photo and it'll take you to the show. The phone moves ultra fast when going through your phone apps, phone book, internet ect. When sending a text you can also speak into the phone so that it writes what you want to say and it actually works!!!! The Beats Audio makes everything sound so good and clear when listening it's like a small radio. Everything on the screen is so clear and crisp like a hd tv. The key pad is extremely accurate when typing. I have small hands and the size of the phone is so comfortable to hold. I'm a heavy user internet, games, ect. and the battery last me all day. This phone a completely amazing!!! I'm so in love!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by BeholdThis Premium look premium feel, downside might be a little too big
I have been a long time user of HTC products, and I have to say, the HTC One is by far the best HTC Android phone I have owned to date. Its ergonomic design and clean lines are suitable for the everyday user as well as the business user. All flattery to HTC aside the screen is gorgeous and by far the best I've seen on a mobile device. The one downside, if you want to call it that, is that the device itself is a little on the large side and I have large hands to begin with, but all things considered that's not too bad of a problem to have. The quality of Beats Audio as an audio profile is debatable and definitely comes down to individual preferences, to me it's simply marketing and not overly impressive. Boom sound, on the other hand is as loud, clear and full sounding as anything in the market, perfect for listening to music on the go.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Bable ONE Phone To Rule Them All
This was my big jump into Android and due to both it's physical elegance and style plus nice hardware it made the switch a breeze. It's a pleasure to hold and behold so while my old phone was seen as a status symbol, this one is much more of a "uniquely functional art piece".
Hardware: The ultrapixel camera does a great job of compensating for it's low mega-pixel count, and I think once there are 8-13 ultrapixel I'm sure it will smash the competition. The remote/IR blaster is great with it's ability to learn new codes from any remote, my stereo, tv, and even air conditioner are all controlled from my phone now.
Software: It's amazing. Sense 5 is smooth, fast, and full of bells and whistles that you never notice until you try using a phone without them. Blinkfeed is great and will only get better as they add more sources and the integration of the music player is excellent.
I could rave for paragraphs about how great the screen, boomsound, sturdiness, navigation, or it's LTE speeds are but what counts is that as a tech snob this is the One phone that could have made my transition to Android so painless.
