Rated 5 out of 5 by HTC one s, s for superb! To start off....amazingly fast, one piece aluminium body and ICS4...more deeply personalised by HTC Sense 4.0!! It has a pretty decent battery life, easily last for a day n half with moderate usage...Awesome 8mpx camera for capturing the moment as real as it could be.... one word: Smartfone that is smart n capable enough to beat most other smartfones!! Rated 3 out of 5 Disappointed with HTC One S Processor HTC have disappointed everyone in India by launching it with the S3 processor instead of the S4. Just compare it with Samsung they have launched Galaxy S3 with same specs as in International market in India along with its International launch, they value Indian market so much and there is no wonder they are the market leaders in smartphones. Do not give false hopes that the S3 processor will give comparable perfomance to S4 which it will definitely not, it will consume more battery and will get hotter because of its over clocked processor. June 14, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by HTC should give S4 processor instead of S3 in India The HTC One S that will be launched in India is the inferior version with the S3 processor overclocked to 1.7Ghz along with the Adreno 220 GPU instead of the advanced and more power efficient Krait S4 processor with Adreno 225 GPU. The processor is the same as on the Sensation XE and has been overclocked by 200 MHz.The Sensation already has pathetic battery life. In the One S: Overclocking + Fixed battery translates to pathetic expected battery life and definite heating. The S3 is a clearly inferior compared to the S4 WHY WE SHOULD PAY SUCH A HIGH PRICE OF AN OUTDATED PROCESSOR ????? June 15, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by The international version in much better [with 1.5 GHz S4] , India should have received it . There is a huge difference b/w S3 and S4 ...No need to pay this much for an outdated processor ..Don't be fooled by overclocked 1.7 GHz dual core .... June 16, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by HTC again not best in the pack :( The Indian version of ONE S houses an overclocked outdated S3 chipset. The phone performance cannot be even com compared with the Sammy's flagaship droid S3. The phone cannot even outperform the samsung Galaxy S2. Very disappointed in not getting the S4 Snapdragon beast for the Indian version. June 18, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Want this phone with S4 and Krait 1.5Ghz Pretty nice phone as it looks just great in hand. Slim profile, unibody construction, just love this! But the old S3 is disappointing at this price point! Plus it's a year old too. Want the new S4 with krait! Otherwise love it! June 27, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by No Qualcomm S4 This Phones has an awesome design and have pretty good features but in India it is powered by the Qualcomm S3 processor same as the Sensation XE which is overclocked to 1.7 Ghz from 1.5 Ghz . It has only upgraded the GPU From Adreno 220 to 225. Unlike the International version of One S which has S4 Krait processor which is nearly as fast as Tegra 3 and also does not heats up as easily as S3 processor. It's a not a phone which is worth 30k . Buy HTC One X instead for 3 Grands more. It would be a wonderful phone if it's price would be 26k or it would have an S4 Processor July 1, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by poor battery i buy a new one x is very good phone but the battery is very very bad it comes only 5-6 hrs only.i charged 2 to 3 times a day July 2, 2012
