HTC Touch Cruise Downloads

  • Update Hotfix to enhance the security mechanism of Bluetooth service

    Release Date: 2009-07-31

    This hotfix enhances the security mechanisms of the Bluetooth service to make the Bluetooth communication more secure.

    Note:

    1. This hotfix can only be applied on Touch Diamond/ Diamond (P3702)/ Touch Pro/ Touch HD/ Touch 3G/ Touch Cruise/ Touch Viva/ Touch Dual/ Touch Cruise (09)/ Touch/ TyTN II/ Advantage X7501/Advantage X7510/ P6500/ P3300/ P3400/ P4000/ P4350/ P3470/ P6300/ S620/ S630/ S640/ S710/ S730/ S740 which has the FTP service preinstalled. Before installing, please first check to see if the FTP service is on your phone by tappingSettings > Communications > Settings > Bluetooth and verifying there is tab named FTP.
    2. If there is a pop-up message saying “This hotfix is not compatible with your device,” it means the device has applied the fix already or device doesn’t have the BT FTP service and the phone does not need to install it.

    Installation Instructions:
    Follow the instructions below to download and install the update on your device:

    1. Make sure you have Microsoft ActiveSync® installed on your Windows XP PC or Windows Mobile Device Center on your Windows Vista® PC. You can find Microsoft ActiveSync from this linkor Windows Mobile Device Center from this link
    2. Connect and synchronize your device with your PC via Microsoft ActiveSync® or Windows Mobile Device Center using the USB cable.
    3. Copy the update, which is an .exe file, to your device. To install the update, tap the .exe file and follow the on-screen instructions.

    Note: If you perform a device hard reset, you will need to reinstall the update after the hard reset.

  • Update Hot fix for resolving unsteady Bluetooth headset connection with HTC Touch Cruise

    Release Date: 2008-06-18

    If you are using the Bluetooth headset, “Jabra JX10”, “Jabra BT500” or “Samsung WEP 150”, and the headset becomes out of range or undetected by the HTC Touch Cruise, in certain circumstances, you may be unable to hear any sound from the headset even after it has reconnected successfully with HTC Touch Cruise. Please install this hot fix to improve the connection when using the above-mentioned Bluetooth headsets.

    Installation Instructions:
    Follow the instructions below to download and install the update on your device:
