Q:What is the App Sharing application?
A:The App Sharing program allows you to share an application by email, text message or by social networks. Your friends will receive a link allowing them to find the application on the Android Market with a single click and download it to their Android phone.To use App Sharing, press All apps > App Sharing, you’ll then see the list of applications that you downloaded and installed from Android Market. Press and hold the application you want to share with another Android phone, and then choose a way to share the application.If you’ve already created a new text or email message, press MENU and then tap Attach > App recommendation to choose from your list of installed applications.NOTE: All apps is the triangle icon in the lower left corner of the home screen that opens the phone's application menu.

Q:How do I use the Transfer Data application?
A:To import your sms, calendar or contact from old phone to the new HTC phone, press All apps > Transfer Data > Next, select your old phone and tap Next to pair with your old phone. Enter the passkey on your old phone, and then select the Contacts check box (and other types of data you want to import), and then tap Next. Your HTC phone will start importing data from the old phone, press Done when finished.NOTE 1: All apps can be found when you tap the triangle icon on the lower left corner of the home screen that opens the phone's application menu.NOTE 2: The application helps user import his personal data, including SMS, calendar, contact, from his old phone to the new HTC phone via Bluetooth. NOTE 3: Transfer Data supports most of non-HTC brand as source phones, however there may be limitations depending on the make and model of the other phone.

Q:How do I continue the data transfer if I've been interrupted?
A:If you have become interrupted during data transfer, when going to re-initiate the transfer, this will sometimes cause data transfer to produce an error, or indicate that no contacts have been transferred.In this case, simply toggle Bluetooth off and on again, and reinitiate the transfer. If this still does not work, consider unpairing the device and pairing again.NOTE 1: For help toggling Bluetooth and unpairing your phone, please see the How-To "Bluetooth basics ", and the FAQ, "How do I unpair my phone from another device?""

Q:How do I import my To-Do and Task lists into my new phone?
A:Unfortunately Tasks and To-Do lists are not supported natively. There are several options in the Android Market to add this functionality to your phone.NOTE 1: An internet connection (Wi-Fi, GPRS/3G, etc.) is required to access the Android Market. Your operator may charge for using GPRS/3G.

Q:How do I import other items like birthdays and contact pictures into my phone using Data transfer?
A:On certain models of phones the Data transfer tool currently is only able to transfer a limited amount of data between phones, and as such, certain things, such as Birthdays, Anniversaries, Emails, and some non-traditionally formatted contacts can not be transferred.Special formatting will also, at times, become interpreted incorrectly. Please remove these formatting errors (such as backslashes / semicolons) to prevent these transfer hiccups.These items are still editable on your phone and you are able to freely edit these items in HTC Sense.

Q:How do I remove duplicated contacts from my phone after the Data transfer?
A:If you find duplicated contacts on your phone after Data transfer, simply delete the contact from your phonebook to remove the duplicated contact.From the Home screen, tap All apps > People > tap and hold the contact you wish to delete > Delete contact. NOTE 1: All apps can be found when you tap the triangle icon on the lower left corner of the home screen that opens the phone's application menu.

A:This is caused by an unexpected error during transfer. Please run the Transfer data application again to clear these erroneous items.
