- ActivesSync is not recognizing my device, what should I do? more
- Be sure that you have not connected your device to your PC before you installed ActivesSync. If you did plug in your device before installing, uninstall ActivesSync and start the process over ensuring that you do not plug your device in until after ActivesSync has been installed. Verify that your device is recognized by your PC in the Device Manager; if it is not, resolve that issue first. Unplug your device from the PC for a few seconds and then plug it back in. Perform a Soft reset on the device while it is plugged into the PC. On the device, go to Start>Settings>Connections>USB to PC and check the "Enable advanced network functionality. Was this helpful? - How do I install Microsoft ActiveSync/Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC)? more
- Insert the "Getting Started" CD that came with your device into your PC and follow the prompts. Note: The disk will detect what operating system you have and what sync software you have loaded. If you already have ActiveSync installed on your PC, it will not give you an option to install it from the disk (same for WMDC) until it has been removed from your PC. Was this helpful? Yes | No

- Yes, you can use Bluetooth to sync with your PC via ActivesSync/Windows Mobile Device Center or another device which also supports Bluetooth. It is also possible to sync directly with an Exchange 2003 Server. Was this helpful? Yes | No

- I am unable to load a 3rd party application on my device. What can I do? more
- Verify that there is enough memory available on your device by going to: Start > Settings > System tab > Memory. Note: You need at least 5MB of Storage and Program Memory available at all times in order for the device to function properly. Some applications can be installed and run from a MicroSD card; try installing the application on a MicroSD card.
