When I try to download a lot of songs, I always get timed out and the download stops. more

If you are downloading 50 or more songs to your handheld, the handheld may timeout. To bypass this: Select Start > Settings > Connections > USB to PC. Check the box for "Enable advanced Network Functionality". Select OK. You will want to unclick this box if you are getting corporate email, as it may cause issues with VPN"s and servers. Windows Media Player won"t recognize all of the music files that I loaded on my device, why? more

Your device will only recognize files types that it supports. Below are the supported file types: Video format supported: WMV, ASF, MP4, AVI, 3GP, 3G2 and RM Real Media. Audio format supported: AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, MP3, WMA, WAV, QCELP, MPEG4, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, MIDI. If your device is not recognizing the files, your library may need to be updated. Go to Start > Programs > Windows Media > Menu > Update library. This will start a scan that will look for all audio files on the device and update the library to show all compatible files.
