Software	TELUS Touch Pro 2 Ottawa Time Zone Hotfix \| 06.01.2010 This Hotfix when installed will correct the Ottawa time zone so that the correct time is reflected in the World Clock on the device. This is NOT a ROM update and you will not lose your data when you install this file. This Hotfix will not survive a Hard Reset so keep a copy of this file in a safe place in the event that you Hard Reset your device and need to load it again. more On Your PC: Download the “HOTFIX: Ottawa Time Zone “ file and save it to your PC. Connect your device to your PC via the USB cable. Once a connection has been established between your PC and your Sync Software: In Activesync (Win XP or earlier): Select Explore. Double-click on your device listing. Drag and drop the “HOTFIX: Ottawa Time Zone” file from your PC onto your device. In Windows Mobile Device Center (Vista/Windows 7): Select File Management>Browse the contents of your device. Double-click on your device listing. Drag and drop the “HOTFIX: Ottawa Time Zone” file from your PC to your device. On your device: Go to Start>All Programs>File Explorer. Locate the “HOTFIX: Ottawa Time Zone” file you just copied to your device (should be under My Device) and tap on it to start the installation process. Follow the onscreen instructions. 	TELUS Touch Pro 2 SMS Date Hotfix (English and French) \| 28.01.2010 Since the year changed to 2010, SMS received by TELUS Touch Pro 2 customers are seeing the year in the timestamp coming in as 2016.The TELUS Touch Pro 2 SMS Date Hotfix will resolve this issue. Once this Hotfix has been installed on the device, all new SMS (received after the installation) and messages that were received prior to installing this Hotfix will be corrected to show the year as 2010 rather than 2016. more Please note: This hotfix will need to be reinstalled if the device is hard reset. Also, the hotfix cannot be installed again until the device is hard reset. If any software was installed to bypass the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) functionality of the device, the device may need to be hard reset prior to this hotfix being installed. Download and Installation steps: Download the TELUS Touch Pro 2 SMS Date Hotfix (choose the correct language version for your device) and save it to the desktop of your PC Verify you have installed and configured the Activesync (Windows XP or sooner) or Windows Mobile Device Center (for Vista and Windows 7) software. Put your device in Airplane Mode: Start>Settings, and then tap Communications>Airplane Connect the TELUS Touch Pro 2 In Activesync, tap on Explore to bring up the File Explorer window. For WMDC, tap on File Management then Browse the contents of your device. If using WMDC, double click on the device memory folder that appears in the File Explorer screen. This is usually depicted by a backslash icon. Next, double click on My Documents. Drag and drop the TELUS Touch Pro 2 SMS Date Hotfix file from your Desktop to the File Explorer window On the device, go to Start>All Programs>File Explorer Locate the TELUS Touch Pro 2 SMS Date Hotfix file and single tap on it to install Follow the onscreen prompts to install the file Reboot the device per on-screen instructions to finalize installation After the device reboots, take the device out of Airplane Mode by navigating to Start>Settings, and then tap Communications>Airplane English (1.37 MB) French (631 KB)
