- The Getting Started Disc contains licensed applications on it, therefore we cannot provide you with a replacement disc. However, you can download some applications, such as the latest version of ActiveSync, from the Microsoft Web site. Was this helpful? Yes | No

- When using your device for prolonged periods of time, such as when you're talking on the phone, charging the battery or browsing the web, the device may become warm. - What is the difference between .CAB and .EXE file formats? more
- Windows Mobile applications come in two formats: .CAB and .EXE. .CAB (Cabinet File Format) files are installation packages for applications and updates that you can run directly on Windows Mobile-powered smartphones/PDAs. .EXE (Executable File Format) files instruct a desktop PC or device to perform certain actions. When your smartphone/PDA is connected to a computer through ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center, you can run an EXE file on your computer, then ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center copies the necessary files to your device.
