-
In rare situations, Internet Explorer Mobile may not be able to detect the character encoding method used by a particular Web page. This may cause some special characters, such as accented characters, to display incorrectly. To solve this problem, try changing the default character set to Unicode (UTF-8).
To view or modify Internet Explorer's default character set:- Tap Start > Internet Explorer > Menu > Tools > Options.
- Select Unicode (UTF-8) or the appropriate encoding method from the Default character set list, then tap OK.
