Power and Battery
- The device battery doesn't charge when connected to the computer via the USB cable. However, it charges fine with the AC adapter. more

Make sure that the USB cable is properly plugged to the device's Power/Sync connector.
- In PDA phones: Go to Start > Settings > System tab > Power > Advanced tab, and clear the When device is turned on, do not charge the battery when connected to the PC option.
- In smartphones: Go to Start > Settings > Power Management, and set the When device is turned on, do not charge the battery when connected to the PC option to Off.
- Replace the USB cable, then try again.
- If this problem occurred after installing a third party software application, remove the software application, soft reset your device, then try again

Our PDA phone automatically enters standby mode and turns off the display after being idle for some time. Simply press the POWER button to turn it back on. In standby mode, the device continuously runs in a low power state to save battery power. The phone function and other wireless communication functions such as Bluetooth continuously operate in the background. The device turns back on automatically when there is an incoming call or an alarm reminder.

For PDA phone:
- To put the PDA phone in Standby mode, quickly press the POWER button until the screen goes off.
- To put the PDA phone in Flight mode, tap Start> Programs> Comm Manager, then turn on Flight Mode.
- To turn off the PDA phone, press and hold the POWER button for about 3 seconds until a warning message appears on screen. Tap Yes to turn off the device.
- To put the smartphone in Flight mode, press the POWER button once, select Comm Manager from the Quick List, then turn on Flight (Airplane) Mode.
- To turn off the smartphone, press the POWER button once, then select Power off from the Quick List. You may also press and hold the POWER button for up to 3 seconds to turn off the power.

To check the remaining battery power:
- Tap the battery icon on the upper right corner of the screen; or
- Tap Start > Settings > System tab > Power
- My battery has poor performance when I use a third-party mail application. more

In some circumstances, the mail application will connect to the mail server and will check the SMS or IP configuration.
- Please check or remove the third-party mail application program and then retry.
- Please contact your wireless service provider and ask them to check the server settings if you encounter quick battery drain problems.
