To create an MMS message, go to Start>Programs>Messaging>Messaging>Messages>Menu>New>Multimedia Message. Select a pre-made or custom format.

Verify that you are within Data coverage (there will be a ""G"" or "E" in the display of your device if you are). NOTE: Messenger is not supported over Wi-Fi.
Check internet connectivity via Internet Explorer. If you are unable to connect, resolve that issue prior to continuing with any instant messenger application.
Verify that the service is not offline by signing into your messenger account from another device (PC).
Ensure that you have the correct user id and password.
