What does a Hard Reset do and how is it performed? more
A Hard Reset restores the device to its default settings — the way it was when you first purchased it and turned it on. Any programs you installed, data you entered, and settings you customized on the device will be lost. Only Windows Mobile software and other pre-installed programs will remain.
To perform a hard reset
Power the device OFF.
Press and hold the Left and Right Soft Keys
Keep the two buttons pressed, and at the same time, press the Power Button once. If successful, you will get a white screen with blue text asking you to confirm the reset.
Why does my device respond slowly, freeze and sometimes crash? more
The main reason for a device to slow down and crash is the lack of available memory. You will want to free up more memory so that the device can return to normal function.
Go to Start>more>more>Task Manager.
Shut down any applications that you are not using by selecting Menu>Stop.
Clear the history and temp files in Internet Explorer by going Menu>Tools>Options>Memory.
Move music files, pictures, documents, etc to a Storage Card.
What bands (frequency) does the S621 support? more
The TyTN supports UMTS with HSPA (tri-band, 850/1900/2100 MHz) and GSM/GPRS/EDGE (quad-band, 850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and HSDPA.
Why am I not able to connect to GPRS/EDGE? more
You may have traveled outside of the coverage area or you may have incorrect settings in your device. Perform a Soft rest on the device and is the issue remains, contact your wireless carrier for assistance.
My display/screen's image is inverted, faded or discolored, what can I do to fix it? more

My device won't recognize my SIM more

Remove and inspect your SIM, remove any debris or residue using a soft, dry cloth. Reinsert the SIM in your device.
My device shows "No Service" or "Invalid SIM". What is wrong? more
If you are getting "Invalid SIM" this could mean that your SIM has not been activated by your wireless carrier. Please contact your carrier. If you are getting "No Service" try turning the device off and back on, changing locations and contacting your carrier to verify coverage.
When should I perform a Hard Reset? more
A Hard Reset should only be performed after all other troubleshooting options have been exhausted of if you want to remove everything from your unit at the same time.
