Why can't I setup my email account? more
Please double check what information your email service requires to setup your email account. You will need to know the correct SMTP/POP3 settings, and may also need to find out the security type, ports, and if any domain names are needed as part of the username.
How many email accounts can my device support? more
12 accounts; 1 Exchange, 1 integrated Gmail, and 10 other POP3/IMAP4 accounts. Note: This device can support multiple Gmail accounts however, only 1 can be set up as the primary using the Gmail application all others can be setup using Gmail application, but will not be your primary Gmail account for the Market.
How do I send an SMS/MMS from my device? more
From the Home screen, touch the Applications button.
Touch the Messaging icon > Touch New message.
At To, type the phone number or contact name. Contacts will appear as you type. Touch the contact > Touch the message field and Type your message.
If you want to add an attachment (picture, audio, etc.) press Menu>Attach.
Touch Send.
How do I access Yahoo Messenger on my device? more
Y! Messenger (Yahoo! Messenger) is not supported on this device.
I can’t get connected to my instant messenger, what is the problem? more
Verify that you are within Data coverage  (there will be a G, E, 3G or H in the display of your device if you are).
Check internet connectivity via the Browser. If you are unable to connect, resolve that issue prior to continuing with any instant messenger application.
Verify that the service is not offline by signing into your messenger account from another device (PC).
Ensure that you have the correct user id and password.
Perform a Soft reset on the device.
How do I access Google Talk on my device? more
To sign In and chat online:
Press HOME, then touch the Applications tab, and then touch Google Talk.
Select Next and follow the onscreen prompts.
How do I access AIM Messenger on my device? more
AOL Instant Messenger is not supported on this device.
How do I set up my Microsoft Excahnge account on my device? more
To configure Exchange email:
Press HOME and select the Mail Icon.
Touch Microsoft Exchange Activesync.'
Enter your email address and password followed by Next.
Verify your email address, Server Name, Domain, Username and Password. Once everything is correct, touch Next.
The device will connect to the data network and verify the settings.
If everything has been entered correctly, the Sync options will be displayed.
Make the selections and touch Done.
The device will begin to sync Email, Contacts, and Calendar from your Exchange server.
How do I set up my e-mail for POP3 or IMAP account? more
From the Home screen select the Mail Icon.
Select Other (POP3/IMAP)
Type your e-mail address > youch Password and type your password >Touch Next.
If you receive a warning message, read the message and touch OK. Type a name for your account > Touch Name and type your display name.
Touch Done.
What types of email does my device support? more
This device supports POP, IMAP, and Microsoft Exchange email.
Can I set up more than one Gmail account on my device? more
You can add more than one Google Account on your device using the Mail application (the Gmail application only allows for one account to be set up). However, subsequent Google Accounts can only synchronize Gmail email and contacts. Other Google services, such as Android Market and Google Talk, use the first Google Account you set up on the device.
How do I setup my Email? more
From the Home Screen, touch the Mail icon.

Select the account type (Exchange Activesync, Your mobile operator.net Mail, and Telus.net, Other (POP3/IMAP) and follow the onscreen prompts.

Note: Gmail has its own stub app and should be set up by going to the Applications Tab and selecting Gmail. Once you have set up your Gmail account, you will automatically be signed into Market.
How do I send an SMS from my device? more
On the Home Screen, touch Messages > New Message.

Touch in the “To” field to enter/select the recipient. Touch in the “Tap to compose” box to enter your message.

Touch Send when complete.
How do I send and MMS from my device? more
Use the same steps as you would for SMS but before touching send, touch Menu > Attach and attach your media file.
Why are messages marked as read when checking my Exchange Server email? more
Your Exchange Server may have settings, which by default, mark emails retrieved from your device as read. Please contact your system administrator to find out what settings your Exchange Server uses.
Why can't I view some attachments? more
Some attachments may not be supported by the device. You may browse the Market to find programs that may support the file type you would like to view.
Can I add my signature when replying to e-mails on my device? more
In Mail on your device, tap Menu>More>Settings>General Settings>Use Signature and check the box to enable this function. Next, touch Signature and customize. Once complete, select Save. Once you have set up this option, all outbound email from all accounts set up on your device will have this signature. Note: There is not an option to set a different signature from different accounts on your device.
How do I send a meeting request from my phone? more
To send a meeting request using the Exchange ActiveSync account press HOME and then tap Mail. Switch to the Exchange ActiveSync account. Press MENU and then tap More > New meeting invitation. Enter the meeting details and then tap Send.
