How do I change my Home screen? more

You can customize the Home screen with your desired wallpaper image,  applications, widgets, and shortcuts.
Press the Menu Button and make your selections (Add for Applications, Widgets, and Shortcuts.)
Application adds your favorite applications for quicker access
Shortcut adds shortcuts to folders, bookmarked web pages, playlists, and more
Widget adds a clock, picture frame, and the Google search bar

How do I modify my Date and Time settings? more

By default, Rogers Magic has been set to automatically use the network-provided date, time zone, and time. To manually change these settings, first disable the Automatic option under the Date & time setting.

To manually set the date, time zone, and time:
Press HOME > MENU and then touch Settings.
Scroll down and touch Date & time.
Clear the Automatic check box.
Touch Set date, Set time zone, and Set time to change these settings respectively. Was this helpful? Yes | No

How do I adjust the backlight on my device? more

The Backlight settings can be accessed from the Home Screen by pressing Menu>Settings>Sound & display.

Here you will find options to change the Brightness as well as the Screen Timeout interval.

Note: changing these settings will have an impact on battery life. The lower the setting, the less power is used. Was this helpful? Yes | No

Something is wrong with my display; it goes dark after a few minutes of inactivity but my device is still powered on. What is happening? more

The device is going into hibernation. The device is still powered on, but the screen has gone to sleep to conserve power. To “wake” the device up press the Menu Button. To change the time out interval, from the Home screen, press the Menu key > Touch Settings > Touch Sound and Display > Touch and slide screen upward > Touch Screen timeout > Touch 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, 10 minutes, or Never timeout > Touch OK. My display/screen's image is inverted, faded or discolored, what can I do to fix it? more

Perform a soft reset by powering the device off and removing the battery for 10 seconds. If the screen issue persists, perform a Hard Reset. Was this helpful? Yes | No

How do I modify my Date and Time that show on my Home/Today screen? more

The date and time for your device are determined by your location using GPS; there is no need to manually adjust these settings. However, If you would like to manually change your time, from the Home Screen press Menu > Tap on Settings > Tap on Date and time > Uncheck Automatic > Tap on Set Date > once complete tap on Set time zone > once complete tap on Set time and complete. How do I set a picture as my wallpaper on the device? more

You can set a picture you have taken and/or saved to your device or choose from preloaded options.

From the Home Screen, press Menu and select Wallpaper.

Choose which type of wallpaper you would like to assign (Home, Lockscreen) to make your selection. Was this helpful? Yes | No

How do I adjust the text size on my device? more

To adjust text size, you need to use the zoom feature to zoom in on the text to make it larger. This can be done by double tapping the screen or using the Pinch method. Note that these functions are not supported in all applications on the device. Was this helpful? Yes | No

What are Scenes? more

Scenes are pre-set home screen configurations that can be accessed from the home screen by pressing Menu>Scenes. Each scene has its own style/layout. You can use either the preconfigured Scenes or create one of your own.

To create your own custom scenes, select your wallpaper, widgets, shortcuts, etc. Once you have everything configured, to save the style, press Menu>Scenes>ensure that Current (unsaved) is selected and touch Save. At this point you can name your scene and then press Done to save it. Once saved, this Scene will be listed among the preconfigured Scenes for selection.

Please Note that there is not an option to save alert tones (ring, SMS, etc) as part of the Scene. Was this helpful? Yes | No

What is the Extended Home screen? more

Press HOME, and then slide your finger horizontally across the screen to go to the left or right side of the extended Home screen. There are 6 additional screens apart from the main Home screen. Was this helpful? Yes | No

What is HTC Sense Leap? more

Leap allows you to combine all 7 screens into one page to quickly leap from one page to another. On any home screen or Extended Home screen, Press the Home Button and you will enter Leap mode.
