How do I turn on/off Wi-Fi®? more

From the Home screen, press the Menu key>touch Settings>touch Wireless & networks>touch Wi-Fi to turn Wi-Fi On/off.

Note: To conserve battery power, disable Wi-Fi when not in use. The easiest way to do this is to touch and hold the Home screen.

Select Widget.

Select the Power Control Widget and add it to one of your Home Screens.

When I click on a media link in the Browser will it play the file? more

When clicking a media link in the Browser the installed media player will play the file. Some file types may not be supported by the media player. It may be necessary to search Market for a Media Player that is compatible with the file type you are trying to access. Was this helpful? Yes | No

How do I connect to the Internet using Wi-Fi? more

To use Wi-Fi on your phone, you need access to a wireless access point or "hotspot". On the Home screen, tap Menu > Settings > Wireless & networks. Select the Wi-Fi check box to turn Wi-Fi on. The phone will scan for available wireless networks. Tap Wi-Fi settings. Tap a Wi-Fi network to connect. You may be prompted to enter a network key if required. Enter the network key. How do I change the look of my Home/Today screen? more

You can customize the Home screen with your desired wallpaper image, applications, widgets, and shortcuts. While on the Home Screen, touch and hold on the screen and make your selections (Add for Applications, Programs, Widgets, and Shortcuts) from the Pop-up menu.

Can I tether my device with my PC and use it as a wireless Modem? more

Yes, you can use internet sharing. Connect the device to the PC, Pull down the notification bar, Select the Select USB type and choose internet sharing. Please ensure that your mobile data plan supports tethering. This is a high data usage option. As such you are responsible for any extra fee's incurred as a result of using your phone as a modem. How do I adjust browser settings (clear cache, view history)? more

From the Home screen, touch the Browser icon > Menu > More > History to view visited pages or touch Menu > Clear History. Clearing your browser history will free up memory on your device and can improve performance. Was this helpful? Yes | No
