Rated 5 out of 5Â by Laker1208 Works Great
Ordered the same day I bouth the HTC One, had the HTC One X with car dock which worked great... so it was a no brainer to purchase this.
No issues besides it occasionally slides out of place when on rough roads.

Like all HTC products this is beautlfully designed with lots of thought having gone into its functionality. Phone clips easily in the cradle and does what it's supposed to do, switching itself on and going into car mode. The only problem I've had is with the lighter recharger that does not seem to work in my car unless you jiggle it about, and then it still stops working.
If you use this cradle with the HTC in car speaker then you have the (almost# perfect hands-free system. The recharging plug on this gadget works in my car so I use this with the cradle.
One slightly negative point, I have noticed that the phone has a tendancy to get quite warm when in the cradle and is constantly on charge. I don't know if this is due to its being in the full glare of the sun, over the heating vents #set on cold) or what, but it is disconcerting.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Avion Can be much better
First of all no question that it looks very nice and fits the naked HTC One very nicely. I don't have the shell cover to test but I doubt it that the shell cover will work with this dock.
Issues I found with the dock:
* The arm is quite short so if you have a steeply inclined windshield like my Prius has then the only way you can use the phone is in landscape mode. This is especially true if you need to plug in the audio cable. You have the option to attach the dock to the console using the adhesive plate but I chose not to use it.
* The locking mechanism of the suction cup is not very easy to use and doesn't always work very well. Couple of times I found that the dock fell off.
* If your car's bluetooth doesn't have support for media streaming and has only an EXT connector using this dock can be a bit awkward since the dock itself doesn't have an audio plug (some Samsung phones can send the audio out through the USB connector and then split it out separately into an audio jack). This means that either you use something like the "HTC Bluetooth StereoClip" or have to manually plug in the audio cable on the top of the phone.
Will I recommend this dock? I'd give it a qualified yes, if you can live with these limitations.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Gadgetman OK but but cannot work with HTC Case
As with all HTC products the quality is excellent and in general the phone kit works well and is easy to use however there are some annoying flaws; one major fault is it doesn't work with the HTC case. Lots of people I know are complaining about this, there is not even a version you can buy that fits the case - bad show HTC, it's a pain having to remove the case each time I use it. Secondly and it may be a setting on my phone I cannot find but when I dock and undock the phone it rings for a couple of seconds, this is annoying. If anyone knows how to stop this I would be grateful. If you don't have a case I would recommend this phone.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by NorthP Great kit
The cradle works great and when I slot the phone in, it seems to know to switch the bluetooth on. Once in, it works and looks great. Very durable.
Only problem is that once I have put the dash mount plate on, I can't take it off and have no idea where I can get a spare mount plate.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Jochen2013 No heat protection.....
My HTC One was in the Cradle, it fits very well and nice material.
Very good in principle.........
So now i had a crack in my lense. The sun was shining on the phone, the climatic was running, but my black HTC became to hot at the lense i thing and cracked.
This problem can be solves easily, if the cradle will protect not only the half of the phone. Better complete phone is sun protected inkl. the video-lense.
So it would be easy possible to switch the phone front cradle to a better one with sun protection.......
Sorry, but this should be a standard test if htc give the holder free.....

Rated 1 out of 5Â by HTChampshiregirl Perfect but for one major flaw
Excellent quality as usual, but it has a major design flaw, which only allows me to give it one star. Won't take an HTC One in a protective case, so virtually useless because of this. Pitcy, because in all other aspects it is great.
