Summary:
Responsible for the creation and execution of a business strategy designed to take HTC to the next level in the Americas. The position oversees all Americas Strategy, Product Management, Product Planning, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops annual sales and marketing plans in support of organizational strategy and objectives
  • Management of budgets for the region
  • Builds, develops and manages sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives
  • Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysis
  • Ensures communications are coordinated, support sales plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements
  • Manages and oversees customer and channel relationships
  • Directs implementation and execution of sales, marketing and operational plans
  • Has an ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • A willingness to travel at least 50 percent

The successful candidate will have:

  • 15+ years of solid sales, marketing, and general management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field. MBA Preferred
  • A proven track record for aggressively growing businesses and gaining market share in a related or similar industry
  • Exceptional prioritization and organizational skills
  • Intelligent, persuasive, and witty communication skills, in person, over the phone, and in writing
  • Ability to develop and implement a strategic marketing and sales plan, past successes in this area are imperative
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills
  • High performance teams and a strong team player
