Contract Recruiter

Summary:
Develop recruiting programs; sourcing will be a major component of the role. In conjunction with local hiring managers, document requirements of job openings as required for open requisitions. Surface candidates and develop networks to support a strong pipeline of qualified candidates. Determine appropriate recruiting sources for advertising and posting positions. Pre-screen resumes. The position is responsible for the candidate experience along with promoting the company image to candidates. The position manages candidate evaluation and interview process with the hiring teams. Negotiates and/or supports hiring managers in extending offers and closing hires. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years (or more) progressive experience as a recruiter for Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design roles
- Strong, demonstrated candidate sourcing skills
- Ability to work in an agile, fast paced, growing office environment is a must
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a tightly integrated team
- High-tech and/or start-up company experience desired
- Solid interviewing and recruiting experience
- Must be proficient in MS Office Suite (Work, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Experience with Taleo and LinkedIn Recruiter are a plus
- Strong organizational skills and proven time management techniques
- Ability to work effectively with highly confidential information
- Project management skills
- Analytical and problem solving experience
- Bachelors’ degree required
