Summary:
HTC is seeking a fun, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable person to become our next Benefits & Compensation (B&C) Analyst on the HR Shared Services team. We’re a small, “Quietly Brilliant” team focused on providing critical, but behind the scenes work in the area of HRIS, payroll, benefits, and compensation. As the B&C Analyst, you will have tactical ownership over your job functions for the entire Americas region. You will primarily be responsible for executing, managing, and ultimately driving improvement in all facets of benefits and compensation at HTC America.

Job responsibilities:

  • Handle all day-to-day responsibilities tied to benefits administration including answering employee inquiries, billing, working with our benefits brokers, and working with our health insurance vendors.
  • Handle all day-to-day responsibilities tied to compensation including compensation analysis, working with hiring teams to formulate appropriate offers, and, in some cases, obtaining offer approvals.
  • Serve as the primary backup for payroll and HRIS functions.
  • Work with compensation consultants to improve compensation programs and structure.
  • Manage participation with compensation survey(s).
  • Work with benefits brokers on Open Enrollment and other benefits initiatives.
  • Manage worker’s compensation claims, FMLA, and other leaves.
  • Serve as HTC’s day-to-day 401(k) Plan Administrator.
  • Assist with projects tied to everything from merit increases, stock distribution, and bonus programs to simple ad-hoc reporting, filing, and lending a helping hand to teammates.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year institution, preferably in Business with an HR concentration.
  • Experience in all of our team’s core functions (benefits, compensation, payroll, and HRIS).
  • Proficiency with MS Office and good with numbers. I don’t say this lightly as you will be dealing with salaries, money, etc. If you have a propensity to make mistakes in Excel, this likely isn’t a good fit as accuracy in your work is of the utmost importance.
  • Ability, and desire, to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic, culturally diverse, often ambiguous, unstructured, customer-service oriented, accuracy demanding, deadline driven environment.
