Americas Insights Analyst, Global Marketing

Summary:
The Americas Insights Analyst will be responsible for spearheading the global analyst capability within the Americas and Product insights area – creating hypothesis, developing investigative methods, reaching quantifiable assertions and finally resulting in discovery of deep, actionable insights through an intimate, forensic knowledge of the data.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically model and understand the dynamics of
    • Product & Proposition development
    • Americas customer behavior and drivers through the end to end lifecycle
  • Innovate, own and lead analysis techniques and tools covering market, product, marketing, service and consumer level subject areas  within Americas
  • Give rapid turnaround of well qualified data requests to support the outward facing business functions – sales, product, marketing, investor relations and PR
  • Develop  and own analytical initiatives, deepening our insight capabilities that can be shared and deployed across other regions – including areas like online data hunting, ROI modeling, segment level data cuts, datasource mash-ups, model hand-shakes, dashboard capabilities, real-time reporting
  • Within a data context, to obsess, provoke, challenge, question, “what if”, energetically imagine, pursue, investigate, be curious and be bold in line with HTC’s ambition to know more, think more and discover more
  • Deliver the analysis program driven by key business processes, key research projects, key strategic planning milestones and the sales cycle
  • To schedule and manage analytical time and resources to feed our regular reporting framework
  • Deliver efficient data mining and reporting capabilities that enable us to deliver with defined SLAs a rapid response data provision service to key stakeholders
  • Deliver  a “service provision” facility to enable rapid response to stakeholder needs on data, content and materials to support the business needs – supporting  external reporting, agency debriefs, customer meetings, product sell-in, executive meetings and product/technology/innovation/customer board requirements
  • Manage and maintain all key modeling platforms – including  the Global Brand Forecasting, Marketing Effectiveness and ROI , and Segmentation Models
  • To work with other model owners to ensure that global data is uniform, consistently applied and supplied on time.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Expert at contributing to  cross functional teams to deliver on time, in full to shared goals
  • Has performed well in fast growing business environments with matrix organizations
  • Ability to go beyond collecting and reporting data – draw out the business critical conclusions/implications
  • A proven ability to take customer learning’s into actionable recommendations for business growth
  • Works well and is happy in a very fast moving, sometimes ambiguous environment across borders and time zones
  • Bachelor/Undergraduate Degree  - essential- preference for math’s, economics/econometrics, statistics, numerate based education
  • Master/Graduate Degree - desirable
  • Strong experience of analytical software, including but not limited to Excel, SPSS etc.
  • Deep knowledge of analytical, data modeling and statistical activity across a range of business disciplines within a client business.
