Adding new contacts

Create new contacts on your phone. You can also create contacts to add to your Google Account or Exchange ActiveSync work account directly from your phone.
  1. From the Home screen, tap > People.
  2. On the All tab, tap Add contact.
  3. Select the Contact type, for example Google or Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. This determines which account the contact will sync with.
  4. Tap Next to continue.
  5. Enter the name and other contact information in the fields provided.
    Tip: Press BACK if you want to close the onscreen keyboard first and scroll through the other fields easier.
  6. Scroll to the bottom of the screen, and then tap Save.
